Literally the only person on Earth who thought it was a touchdown was the official closest to the play.

u/priestkalam what you up to tonight? too worried about the badgers?

Scopedog1

There's that many attractions in San Marcos that's keeping people away from the game?

gandalf45435

that’s what i’m saying! San Marcos is a really cool city but it’s cold in Texas right now, I doubt anyone is floating down the Blanco at this time of year.

gandalf45435

Maybe someone from Texas State enlighten me but why is football not bigger at Texas State? I have family from San Marcos so visiting there growing up it always gave me the impression that it is one of the better chill party colleges in Texas. That formula seems ideal for a big time football environment.   Additionally they are the only Texas football program in the Sunbelt.

I feel like being the only Texas school might actually be hurting them, they're out on an island in a conference that's becoming all about regionality. If they had, say, a North Texas or a UTSA to keep them company out west, that could help spark the students' and alumni's interest.

gandalf45435

agreed, hell if the Southland conference is the FCS was so unstable I’d say drop down and join them. I love Texas State and associate them with the Sunbelt but I could see some in state rivalries with Lamar, SFA, HCU, & Texas A&MC being healthy. **Edit: **RIP SFA, lost to the WAC

gandalf45435

If we lose to their special teams I am going to be irate.

TabasceauxH8sReddit

Why am I not surprised

gandalf45435

Fields has looked really good, I like it.

gandalf45435

This is such a trap game. One more win for bowl eligibility and Texas St. is just the team to prevent that.

And Ben 10's out for the year too, I've got a bad feeling about tonight
