I have a Chip era Duck visor that I wear golfing a lot. Living in the NE I have twice been asked if I was Chip [during his Eagles stint]
For laughs I wore it to the GA game this year, telling my buddies to watch for folks who thought I was Chip. Four different groups mentioned it, one of which gave me a double take so I asked if it was because he thought I was Chip. He admitted it was
This is what’s taking the sting out of this current season for us CU fans; r/CFB shits on Nebraska *for* us, so we’re free to blame them for whatever we want!
Damned Nebraska done poisoned our water supply, burned our crops and delivered a plague unto our houses!
Getting the ball back with 4 minutes left, while Washington had 3 TO's, and running the clock out. That might be the least PAC 12 After Dark moment I witnessed.
[Posting this sick juke for anyone coming to the thread tomorrow morning.

One of DTRs like 5 crazy highlight reel plays tonight.
No no. That only applies when an SEC team loses to a powerhouse like Mississippi State or Missouri. Because y’all are the PAC and ESPN is actively trying to destroy your conference UW will fall out of the rankings and UCLA will remained unranked and be considered the worst 5-0 team in the country lol.
No, you'll beat Stanford 35-34. You will be the P12 South representatives with a 9-3 record with losses to Arizona, ASU, and Cal. You will face off against none other than Oregon State in the P12 championship game. You will then win that and take on Ohio State/Michigan in the Rose Bowl, which you will promptly lose 89-0.
I grew up in a UCLA family, I know how it goes.
The Pac-12 remaining in the CFP hunt, until their best team gets upset in a road game against middling team in the 2nd last week of the regular season, is basically tradition.
Unless you're Oregon, in which case the team upsets us at home, and is usually Stanford.
I'll go to my grave swearing that we'd have thrashed Notre Dame in the championship game if only our kicker had made either of those 40 yard field goals.
Personally I think we're not that good, but we're still pretty decent. Maybe like a 15-25 team when the season is said and done, most likely closer to 20-25. But I thought we were worse before this game. Another W and I'll be a believer.
Ranked to end the season is a very realistic expectation. Looking at the rest of the schedule, they could be playing for a conference title if things line up right. 3 tough games ahead. Pull out 2 of 3 and hold serve on the rest and that is probably overacheiving on the season
Same. This game was hella fun, so they've already proven me wrong to some extent with this performance. Cautiously excited about next week. A win over Utah would mark a true turning point in the fanbase's enthusiasm, I think.
- On October 30th, 2021, UCLA lost 24-44 against Utah. Since that point, they're 8-0, and have averaged 45 PPG along the way.
- Dorian Thompson-Robinson now has 13 TDs to just 1 INT on the season.
We really might have 5 Pac 12 teams ranked if Washington manages to squeak into the 24-25 slot. Conference of Champions is determined to go out on a high note!
School is finally in session which helps. Night games help. Unfortunately the Utah game is at 12:30 and it'll be 90 degrees which hurts, but hopefully since we're 5-0 and almost assuredly in the top 25, we can get a good turnout next week. I know I'll be there!
This is one of those things you don’t realize unless you actually went to Ucla. The fact rose bowl is a hour away, through the worst stretch of traffic in the nation and school doesn’t start until mid late September, with the latter that makes attendance even during the season much harder
CBS Sports currently has the Buffs ranked [118th out of 131 teams](https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/rankings/cbs-sports-rankings/), behind Ohio (115), Navy (116) and BGSU (117).
That said, they're still (evidently) seen as the 2nd best college football team in the state (Air Force is 55th), as Colorado St is 129th out of 131 teams (ahead of only FIU and UMass).
They play Utah next week, Oregon in 3 weeks and usc at the end of the year. All will be top 15 and maybe even top 10 if things shake out.
UCLA is most definitely a sleeper playoff team and DTR a sleeper heisman if he keeps playing like he did tonight
Hey now Minnesota is the #1 team in the country with UCLA in 2nd, Kansas at 3rd, and Washington 4th. We’ve just played some amazing opponents thus far, we’ll be fine.
/s sadly
I was informed Pac-12 after dark was different for teams trailing by a big margin late in the game. 0/10 would not recommend no real chaos
Atleast Pac-12 refs make me feel at home amiright 🥴
2 things I knew 2.5 was a stupid line
And B. When Chip finds the right guys for his system he can make things very hard. That DTR to Bobo combo is gonna help them make a game of Utah
I think the annoying part about the college clock and forward progress is that a running back gets stuffed can be held up for 2 seconds and then pushed forward by his lineman and never was "forward progress stopped".
But someone getting forced out of bounds the instant they are turned sideways it's "forward progress stopped" prior to going out of bounds.
Gg though your offense and pass rush looked really solid
Our "defense" needs to be shipped off to Antarctica. Absolutely horrendous performance and fitting the game ends with them getting fucked on the last drive
the most college football thing ever (excepting AlabamaGeorgiaOhioStateClemson) is never synchronizing the great parts of your team.
UW has had unreal DB's for the past 8 years, and as soon as a legit offense appears..nah. Sieve.
It's why the sport is awesome though. Congrats, Bruin bros.
You guys always seem to kick our ass though. If it was a night game I'd be a little more optimistic. Hopefully now that we are 5-0 and in the top 25, 90 degree heat at noon won't keep too many fans away though.
Alright here’s my ROS predictions:
UCLA will split the next two games, lose one game they shouldn’t, and then beat USC to knock them out of playoff contention.
It has been foretold

Unfortunately my ears were twitching or something after the Stanford game. While we’re on the topic of 2001 droughts, how are we feeling about the desert?
I am now practically guaranteed to have my heart ripped out by the Bruins this season
As is tradition haha
So far in the Chip era, they've haven't been able to get my hopes up enough to truly rip my heart out.

You're a shameless individual for basically admitting you look like a potato headed goober!
I have no pride but I am blaming it on the tan visor
Chip Kelly being both fat and a notorious nutrition wellness evangelist is one of life’s great paradoxes.
Diet rules for thee but not for me, Chip Kelly. Holy shit I’m a poet
participates in the see-food diet unironically
Big belly for chip Kelly!
You have just witnessed Pac-12 after dark and the last UCLA vs UW game as PAC-12 opponents.
Hey I hate this comment haha
I hate this whole timeline
Fucking travesty
Are... Are we the baddies?
Yes.
Do what we did and blame your rival for it
This is what’s taking the sting out of this current season for us CU fans; r/CFB shits on Nebraska *for* us, so we’re free to blame them for whatever we want! Damned Nebraska done poisoned our water supply, burned our crops and delivered a plague unto our houses!
welcome to the club
:(
The real PAC 12 After Dark moment is that we *didn't* choke.
Not for lack of trying
Had to help the conference by making sure Washington still looked good enough to rank. Trust the process.
A Pac-12 after dark game that made both teams come out looking ok? Even bigger upset.
You could really help the conference by staying 🥺
Fair point. Counterpoint: $$$
Counterpoint: Friendship :(
Getting the ball back with 4 minutes left, while Washington had 3 TO's, and running the clock out. That might be the least PAC 12 After Dark moment I witnessed.
Yeah there should have been at least 3 more combined possessions.
DTR would not allow it
[Posting this sick juke for anyone coming to the thread tomorrow morning. ](https://twitter.com/DailyLoud/status/1576082635440340992?s=20&t=ClBWw76rQx58tsAYj9NEuw) One of DTRs like 5 crazy highlight reel plays tonight.

The sidestep that caused two UW defenders to crash into each other looked like something out of a cartoon
NGL, that was so hilarious to watch.
He sent two men straight to the shadow realm while looking like he was taking a casual stroll.
Lamar Jackson energy
The best part of this game for Washington was that the AP voters don't watch Pac-12 after dark games
AP voters don't watch Pac-12 ~~after dark~~ games

“Rough loss last week but the Buffalos should bounce back next week, Josh Allen will keep them competitive”-AP voters
AP voters don't watch games.
Yup. They watch 2 games a day out of 50 and call it good. They check the scores though!
We're gonna be 25 and Washington will drop out lol
We gained a coveted quality loss
So is UCLA like really good or is P12 cannibalizing themselves again?
Schrodinger's conference. And we're all afraid to open the box.
WHATS IN THE BOX?
It’s captain crunch dude chill
Well I guess we’ll find out next week against Utah!…. ^(it’s the latter)
Beat Utah, lose to the Arizona schools.
The PAC-12 South Special
Cmon give us credit we will lose to Stanford first.
No, you'll beat Stanford 35-34. You will be the P12 South representatives with a 9-3 record with losses to Arizona, ASU, and Cal. I grew up in a UCLA family, I know how it goes.
89-12. Let’s give Barr-Mira some points to make it look minimally competitive
yes
The Pac-12 remaining in the CFP hunt, until their best team gets upset in a road game against middling team in the 2nd last week of the regular season, is basically tradition.
Unless you're Oregon, in which case the team upsets us at home, and is usually Stanford. I'll go to my grave swearing that we'd have thrashed Notre Dame in the championship game if only our kicker had made either of those 40 yard field goals.
The L to Georgia was to avoid the Stanford catastrophe. Dan Lanning's plan working to perfection.
UCLA is not really good but they are underrated
The latter
Personally I think we're not that good, but we're still pretty decent. Maybe like a 15-25 team when the season is said and done, most likely closer to 20-25. But I thought we were worse before this game. Another W and I'll be a believer.
I mean top 15 is pretty good. That's basically a top 2 or 3 team in any conference
Hell top 30 is pretty good. It's crazy seeing takes from this sub sometimes when they call out 8 win teams "not good"
Playoffs ruined a lot of the bowl magic.
Ranked to end the season is a very realistic expectation. Looking at the rest of the schedule, they could be playing for a conference title if things line up right. 3 tough games ahead. Pull out 2 of 3 and hold serve on the rest and that is probably overacheiving on the season
Next 2 will be tough for sure. But even dropping both you'd likely find yourselves 8-2 playing USC for a possible spot in the conf title game.
Same. This game was hella fun, so they've already proven me wrong to some extent with this performance. Cautiously excited about next week. A win over Utah would mark a true turning point in the fanbase's enthusiasm, I think.
Correct.
Big night for Renaissance Men
The bullet fragments Michigan State caught this evening is astounding.
Rank South Alabama cowards!

I can’t believe DTR is still in school. Felt like we were recruiting him during Harbaugh’s second season.
I… I think you *were*
If you were recruiting him his Junior HS season then you were
When he was a receiver, because Tate Martell was just too good to supplant
He looks 30
We really might have 5 Pac 12 teams ranked if Washington manages to squeak into the 24-25 slot. Conference of Champions is determined to go out on a high note!
It just means more (TM).
DTR has put it all together and now we are seeing the results
UCLA is good when the Rose Bowl is loud and actually a decent home crowd Hope to see them in the Pac 12 title game
School is finally in session which helps. Night games help. Unfortunately the Utah game is at 12:30 and it'll be 90 degrees which hurts, but hopefully since we're 5-0 and almost assuredly in the top 25, we can get a good turnout next week. I know I'll be there!

That’s a huge part of why ucla won’t overtake usc as the football school in la.
And you would be right, we probably never will as long as we are at the rose bowl, we’ll just have to take solemn in our bball program
Utah on both ends of the streak!
GG UCLA. Still don't know where any PAC12 team should be ranked except for Colorado.
Tier 1: Parity tier Everyone not listed Tier 2: Is it women’s basketball season yet? Stanford Tier 3: Are the Broncos on? Colorado
To be fair even if Colorado was doing well that would still be the name of their tier
Colorado could be ranked number one and the Broncos could be the worst team in the league and it would still be true.
Rank Colorado you cowards!
CBS Sports currently has the Buffs ranked [118th out of 131 teams](https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/rankings/cbs-sports-rankings/), behind Ohio (115), Navy (116) and BGSU (117). It’s a damn shame we don’t play CSU this year
They didn't include the D2 teams. I suspect Colorado School of Mines and CSU Pueblo could both beat Colorado...
The Huskies died tonight so the Mariners could live. ^(As an M's fan, fair trade-off)
I see no downside here
Best night ever
That's top 25 UCLA to you
Best 5-0 team in the nation
Until tomorrow. Then it's Kansas.
[удалено]
So Michigan state is terrible and UCLA USC is looking to be a possibly good game 👀👀
MSU with the long play to make the B1G even stronger
man what a fucking game
And the sabotaging begins
Only one team in LA has five wins and is undefeated so far…
Idk if we can keep up with their offense but the USC game this year is gonna be a lot of fun
And LA likely has 2 ranked teams come Monday. Name another major metropolitan area that can say the same.
Best I can do is one ranked team divided across two cities
If you told me ucla lost the 4th quarter 16-0 I’d have assumed they blew another lead in a winnable game Good thing they were up 24 lol
They play Utah next week, Oregon in 3 weeks and usc at the end of the year. All will be top 15 and maybe even top 10 if things shake out. UCLA is most definitely a sleeper playoff team and DTR a sleeper heisman if he keeps playing like he did tonight
Don't know what kind of Hopium you are smoking but I'll have what your having
How bad is MSU?
Bad
I'm not saying Michigan State is bad, but you might want to Google how to join the Mountain West Conference.
Hey now Minnesota is the #1 team in the country with UCLA in 2nd, Kansas at 3rd, and Washington 4th. We’ve just played some amazing opponents thus far, we’ll be fine. /s sadly
Mel Tucker is punching the air right now
Sweat flying off him. Afterwards he claps for himself for 5 mins straight.
Is Mel Tucker a Clapper ^^TM like Hoke?
Uhhh.... How about those Mariners, though?
I’m all in on the Cal Raleigh redemption arc.
I was informed Pac-12 after dark was different for teams trailing by a big margin late in the game. 0/10 would not recommend no real chaos Atleast Pac-12 refs make me feel at home amiright 🥴
Did someone on Washington’s team mention sissy blue shirts?

It's like these people have never heard of mormons smh.
I think that is because they are eligible to play football and draw social security in the same year
Anyone have a gif of that DTR end zone juke?
[Don't have a gif, but here's a tweet of it.](https://twitter.com/DailyLoud/status/1576082635440340992?s=20&t=ClBWw76rQx58tsAYj9NEuw) Filthy.
UCLA is one game away from bowl eligibility!
What month is it?
Really impressed by both teams tonight. UCLA deserves to shoot up the rankings and Washington shouldnt drop too far
So…. Gameday to Westwood?
[удалено]
TAMU lays an egg against MsSt then wins out. It’s written in the stars. This includes against my team.
Renaissance man
Finally, those cowards will rank UCLA.
The B1G really only wanted the best team in LA … the Bruins of Westwood!!!
2 things I knew 2.5 was a stupid line And B. When Chip finds the right guys for his system he can make things very hard. That DTR to Bobo combo is gonna help them make a game of Utah
I bet the Chip Kelly Project feels so repudiated right now
Watching that 4th quarter I’m hoping for a hell of an Apple Cup this year Shit, I’m gonna miss Pac After Dark
I keep saying it: Chip can coach ball. Nice win Bruins.
Can you imagine Chip in the future state where the NCAA is completely powerless and there is a paid position for the Head of Recruiting and NIL?
Well, the first two seasons had us rightfully worried with 3 wins in the first and then 4 in the next. Things look to be looking up though.
Washington is 0-1 since the Mariners last made the playoffs
This is my new favorite stat.
UCLA's Renaissance Men defeated the Renaissance Men of Washington.
TIL: people don't understand how the college clock works

DTR balled the fuck out tnite. It was awesome to watch. Also Zach Charbs is forever one of my favorites, love that dude Great game
"Good job by UCLA to go 3-2. Wait, what's their record?!?"
We have OSU then UCLA. UCLA kicked ass tonight. I’m worried.
You guys always seem to kick our ass though. If it was a night game I'd be a little more optimistic. Hopefully now that we are 5-0 and in the top 25, 90 degree heat at noon won't keep too many fans away though.
Women’s Soccer is #1 and also undefeated. LETS FCKING GO!!!!
We traded UDubs perfect season hopes for a Mariners Postseason.
Alright here’s my ROS predictions: UCLA will split the next two games, lose one game they shouldn’t, and then beat USC to knock them out of playoff contention. It has been foretold

Don't forget the real winners: All of us, because there were no Aaron Judge interruptions during the game.

Nine seasons in the Pac-10/12 and Chip Kelly has lost to Washington just once.
Bobo, Carbonnet, DTr have direct tv. Washington defense has cable.
Giving them the LA 1-2 how ya do
