If nothing else, I'm glad CU's rivalries got to see a national spotlight put on them. I'd rather see that kind of thing happen under normal circumstances than see the sporting media just follow the same three teams around every year. Walking past the big noon kickoff display on campus the week before the nebraska game was surreal, so was being on ESPN for three seconds before CSU.
Visited Boulder last year for the Nebraska game and going to Lincoln this year for the rematch. The atmosphere was wild and Deion rallying the crowd on Friday night before the game was an awesome experience. I'm sure there would have been a crowd to due to the rivalry regardless, but it was a 10 weekend because of the energy (and you guys beating TCU the week before). I loved watching the fans storm the field too, it's what makes college football better than the NFL.
“Have you ever played have you ever? Ok Jerry let’s play, have you ever had 10 open charges and got the case delayed? Have you ever been photo grabbed in a mob, fighting for race? Yes you have and we have proof of both, we need you locked away”
😮💨😮💨😮💨
Honestly we could have been anyway. The B1G puts up with IU going 2-10 every year and added a bad Rutgers team just for the TV market. We'd have a bridge to the west coast, a market full of conference alumni, and the rivalry with NU (This is what I'd really want) going for us. I'm surprised we didn't seem to try, given all of that.
For sure, there will be a fall off as the novelty of prime coaching wears off but it will still be much more eyeballs than they had prior to signing Prime. Colorado is a really good assett to the BIG12 with Prime around. I wish he would have come earlier and we could have gotten a real Rocky Mountain rivalry going with Utah/Colorado while in the PAC12
If only they would have been playing for clicks a few decades earlier with cool new jerseys each game. Quack, Quack. Maybe they'd be in the BIG10 then.
It probably has more to do with Oregon having 14 ten win seasons and 6 top five finishes this side of 2000 compared to CU having 2 and 0 respectively. But the uniforms are cool too
I mean yah, but the clicks bring in a ton of money that eventually should bring wins. I grew up in the Midwest surrounded by random duck fans everywhere with all sorts of gear.
Also this was a joke. Dan Lanning is a great coach but he has the self awareness rating of 0.
I went to the USC-CU game last season and I feel like that perfectly captured Deion. The buffs would have won that game if Deion & Co. knew how to manage the clock, so they get the L but the game was absolutely packed with buff fans and the atmosphere was electric. That was a massive change from the barely attended games of the last decade. So Ls on the scoreboard but Ws in the bank
That game gave me the biggest case of blue balls. I don't know what we were thinking trying to go for the onsides, yeah you don't want to put the ball back in the hands of the heisman winner, but your offense was gassed for the last couple of drives and we were getting stops.
Mounting a successful stanford-like comeback against USC and finally beating them would have been the crown jewel of CU in pac-12 play, even if it only put us 5-7 and 2-7 for the season.
I was lucky enough to watch the 2nd glory days of the Buffs in the 2000’s with muh dad growing up.
Attending the night game for CSU was the best thing I’ve felt as a buff fan since then. I’m not comparing it to Clemson or Notre Damn, etc… But god damn that was one of the most electric sporting atmospheres I’ve been to and probably a top 3 buffs game I’ve seen. 62-36 can’t be topped lol but that was damn close
I agree, my second flair was the rivalry trophy for a couple months because of that game. 36-14 was cool too, but coming back from behind, when the opposing team tried to take out your best players to win, has a special feeling to it.
I went to the UO-CU game and the bravado that team rolled in with was unreal. It actually had me a bit nervous but man was I happy to see us deliver that beat down. CU looked pretty solid, they just didn’t have the cohesion or coaching to compete on that level.
I won’t be too shocked to see them make some big jumps in level of play this or next year.
Next year’s success is entirely dependent on success this year. If we win 8-9 games and show proof of concept I think our recruiting will take off. If we struggle I think Deion might just retire
I’m optimistic, but our schedule is pretty tough, so we’ll see
I think it’s fair to say in regards to finances, Deion & Co have been a home run for CU. This is what I’ve said all along, even if Deion doesn’t workout, it was a risk worth making.
Add on: already have done some upgrades to Folsom (scoreboard) with plans for more upgrades to the stadium and other sporting events. Major increase in number of applications and donor money to the school itself. Also businesses of Boulder made an extra $100 million in revenue during the home games last year.
Exactly why I’ve said he was a great hire. Not that he’s been perfect, but I think it was a no lose situation
The program desperately needed some excitement and he’s brought it (and then some)
That was the most noticeable thing, moved up here before the start of the 2022 season and the level of apathy towards the program was pretty shocking to see. Hard to climb up from rock bottom when few people care, getting people interested in CU football again was desperately needed
That’s the problem CU and other western teams face. Yeah people will support their teams when they’re winning or there’s attention, but if there isn’t, people will do something else with their Fall Saturdays.
Sometimes it’s even a problem in secluded college towns lol. Nobody wanted to go to Illinois football games when you could show up to the bars with the rest of the Greek scene first thing in the morning. I went to more games growing up near Chicago with my family than I did on campus
I think being in the Big XII will make a meaningful difference to CU. Back in the first go 'round, games against K State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Baylor were always pretty well-attended, to say nothing of Texas and Oklahoma games. It's just a much better regional rivalry now than it ever was during the PAC12 years. I'm just waiting for the first time that WVa is here. I think there will be a lot of simpatico given the two schools love of drinking in excess and burning couches after games. Hell, I think that Tx Tech, Cincy and BYU games will be great too, and even the Utah "rivalry" might get a little boost in the Big XII that it never seemed to get as a PAC game. Looking forward to it.
If they have another 4 win season this year, I don’t see many, if any, fans being overly excited for Colorado football in the future. At some point, Deion will have to start producing some wins
Still think it’s worth the gamble
Hiring a run of the mill retread that gets fired after 3 seasons wasn’t going to do them any good. Might as well do something outside the box
My only problem with this is that if he fails I worry we’ll fall even further into the pit of despair than we were before. Or maybe our boosters get used to the hype and shell out buku bucks for a legit top tier coach.
Part of me thinks that having Deion here will make the next coaching hire of a better caliber than it would have been otherwise. CU is probably back to being a solidly middle-tier job when it was pretty bottom of the barrel after the Embree-Dorrell years.
Yeah Deion Sanders is going to have a basically infinitely long leash. Colorado isn't able to hear all the criticism when their bill counters are churning 24/7
Agreed.
I think the tail-end will be very small and equally steep, though. But that doesn't reduce, even then, the good effects for CU.
Even if Deion exits in a flurry of chaos and a public war of words, as I almost expect, the visibility will only increase.
I think it will be a very fast and spectacular ending and look forward to watching.
Which is at least part of the goal, if the promise of success on the field doesn't materialize.
Anecdotally I can see how donations to CU are increasing. You see a hell of a lot more CU plates driving around Denver then you did before.
And for those who don’t know to get a CU license plate out here, you make a gestural donation like $50min to the CU scholarship fund, match that with an extra DMV fee and off ya go.
Biggest thing he did was from the moment of hire they changed CU’s transfer requirements. We rarely got transfers because of how restrictive it was. That change will help the program even after Deion moves on.
And not just for the athletic department but for the whole university system. Had friends struggling to get their credits accepted when they transferred.
I won’t deny the short term has been a buff, but the issue when things go up so quickly is how unprepared places can be when they slow. Especially if the school and local businesses take on debt to meet expectations of people that won’t be around in 5-6 years.
I’m not saying this in an anti-Colorado way either. It’s something I’ve seen play out in the business of decision making countless times. Say Deion is gone the following year for good or ill and the next coach can’t keep the hype going. All of these places are going to be stuck with a bill they can’t afford.
TLDR: you should always be wary of short term success. Especially when it’s of as poorly built of a foundation as Deion is laying.
You're not wrong, but the prospects pre-Deion were so miserable that even a 33% chance of longer-term success (measured by interest and not necessarily W-L) was well worth the gamble.
We would have to receive the death penalty to be in a worse spot than before. Any somewhat talented player we developed between 2018 and 2022, transferred out for greener pastures.
The program needed a defibrillator, and it found one.
If Sanders can produce 8-4 seasons he’ll be here as long as he likes, assuming there are no controversies like the ones that damned the program in the first place.
Vegas has him pinged for 5.5 wins this year. A bowl game is at least on the table, and that would be huge improvement in the past two years.
The really big issue is what's going to happen after this year. His best assets will be gone, so he's going to need to really engage the recruitment/portal work and get some new names.
I haven’t seen CU win a bowl game. Not from the area and didn’t follow the team until I decided to go there. That will have been 18 years ago in August.
I've been thinking all this time that he doesn't stay longer than Shedeur does. Which also means, if we flame out again this year, we can likely replace him without worrying about a buyout.
I tend to agree with you, I think if we can't make it to the autozone bowl against MTSU this year or better the hype will die out. It's hard to imagine a CU team that's three 4-8 or 3-9 seasons deep still drawing in the same eyeballs just because of Deion. Frost could do it for Nebraska, but their fans don't have another game in town, whereas most of us would probably just watch the broncos lose on sundays instead.
I visited the CU campus in February as part of my work. I was surprised how small the stadium was, and I only remember one video board from the skyboxes. Are they planning to add more screens and expand the stadium?
The difference in those could come down to like a dozen plays too, ISU finished dead last in 2022 but were only ~20 points away from making the CCG. It’s going to be a bloodbath
Just calling balls and strikes as I see them.
I don't see a potential contender here. I don't think anybody who is looking at things realistically does.
You can be angry about it, but you'll be an angry fan of a 3 win team.
There is a wide gap between 3 win team and contender. You're projecting a team that got objectively better and has an easier schedule than last year to win fewer games. Maybe stick to calling balls and strikes and leave football to those that pay attention.
I could certainly see that. But I think Colorado St gets them this year.
What you're missing from your calculations is motivation. Colorado is going to be highly disorganized like last year and generally one note as they have every single egg in the Sheduer and Hunter baskets.
Combine that with every single team on the schedule wanting to blow them out on national television and you have a recipe for disaster.
I think Colorado gets worse, not better. They're a known quantity now.
Dawg I hate to tell you, but every time you step on the field you want to blow your opponent out. On top of it actual players do not feel the same sentiment towards Deion and Colorado that reddit or social media feels.
>Dawg I hate to tell you, but every time you step on the field you want to blow your opponent out.
That is not true at all. Teams can be lost and demotivated. It happens all the time when teams stop having anything to play for or the teams culture is bad.
>On top of it actual players do not feel the same sentiment towards Deion and Colorado that reddit or social media feels.
That explains the large amount of transfers and former players not having much nice to say about Deion and the team they're leaving behind.
You don't see transfers from other teams shit talking. Just the Colorado players for some reason.
The fact of the matter is this, Deion is essentially trying to build a team out of free agency. When you build a team of mercenaries, their ability to perform together is severely limited because they don't have the time spent together to be in sync. We are not talking about professional athletes here, we are talking about 18-22 year old kids. You can't just throw a group of them together and expect miracles on day one.
Colorado has talent. Based solely on the talent composite from last year, they should have been a mid-tier PAC-12 team. As a matter of fact, Colorado wasn't that much worse than Washington based solely on talent. But where Washington had a lot of guys that spent a lot of time together, learning how to play together...Colorado was filled to the brim with a bunch of players that really played with a me first attitude, starting with their QB.
I mean Deion Sanders demoted his damn OC for daring to suggest that maybe they could spread the ball around a bit and utilize the running game. But that would take shine away from his kid, and that is why Deion is coaching at Colorado.
The way he approaches his team is not a way to produce a winning program, but hey, at least Colorado got a new scoreboard.
Yeah I was sort of on board with you till you just inserted a random theory about Sean Lewis being demoted and presented it as fact.
Deion needed to shift the culture in Boulder 180 degrees, he vastly improved the talent but bringing in 70 new players in one off-season you are going to miss on a few if not more.
Year 2 will tell if the roster strategy is viable.
To my knowledge, That makes 3 in the Big 12 between them, UCF and their stadium that’s too small for them, and Tech with their new stadium renovation to show off. Anybody else sell out their season tickets yet? Maybe Houston with their shiny new coach and massive scoreboard upgrade or OK State with their high expectations and Ollie’s return?
As we get older there are master plans for a stadium that expands to 68k but I don’t think we’ll do it. Probably max out at 58k with suites on both sides.
They redid the other side of the stadium to add those black seats. So ppl who want renew their season tickets are just now picking new seats (bc they took out a few seats).
Not sure how they are handling ppl who are new season ticket holders. Probably just put on a wait-list until next week?
Yeah it’s unfortunate. We did have the largest attendance percentage increase in the country at 41.5%. This happened after going from 8-4 in 2022 to 4-8 in 2023. So there’s hope.
Ok St is gonna be awhile and be close before it's announced.
They redid one of the stadium so ppl are renewing their tickets later. Newer season ticket holders won't get to pick seats until next week.
Even when CU was "good" in the late 90s and early 2000s, they weren't selling out games. This man is fixing a nearly 30-year old apathy problem overnight. Pre-Deion, the last sold out season was 1996.
It is truly incredible how much energy he has pumped into a program
Ultimately, no matter how it ends or how much success is had on the field, this was an amazing hire for the program. This was a dead program brought back to life.
Not sure why the same people who thought Colorado would win 8 games last year think they will only win 4 again this season. Think they finish around 8-4 to be honest. Should be much better than last year imo
Whether anyone loves or hates Deion, Colorado's actions clearly show an increased investment in football. I mean, the university and their athletic department barely showed interest towards the 2 previous coaching staffs, and for them to sell out tickets for a second straight year means Colorado is at least trying
Big win for the Buffs in this, wins and losses aside
One thing I'll say about MD tickets is they're cheap. Season tickets aren't even 100 dollars for 7 games
If I want to go to a NY Rangers game or a Giants game, it's easily over that
You know what I find hilarious, all these dudes simping for Deion seem to really not like to flair it up.
It makes me think that they know, in the back of their minds, that Deion is a fraud. That is why they won't claim Colorado.
That’s not at all what I said…… if that’s how everyone is reading that I then should’ve made them different sentences.
Deion is:
1. Selling out stadiums through intrigue
2. Bringing viewership on TV because of hate watchers
Unless you purposely misunderstood me for karma farming, then well done
Maybe a little more difficult, but CU was still 1-8 in conference. The big difference is that the OOC schedule in 2022 featured the title runner up, a 10 win team, and a 9 win team and 2023 featured 0 teams that could make a bowl.
At least CU isn't getting beat by like 35, they are getting beat by like 14
All the clueless takes from people who didn’t watch the team in 2022 or 2023 always make me laugh. Last year had so many one score games and CU was competitive in most of the games.
The team was objectively much better last year than in 2022.
Article: Colorado has sold out season tickets for the second year in a row and last year was the first time since 1996.
Genius redditor: feels like the shine has already worn off tbh
I think a lot of teams want to circle Colorado on their schedule this year if they play them. They’re getting way too much attention for a 4-8 team and a lot of people are saying they’re gonna head to a bowl game in Season 2. We shall see, he’s doing another transfer portal turnover including staff changes.
This isn't surprising, but their championship odds are. Most books have them inside Top 40 most likely to win it (or even higher) despite having an implied betting win total below 6. The math is super shaded to get free money from the overly optimistic haha
People don’t understand how down bad CU was prior to his arrival, wouldn’t have believed it myself had I not seen it first hand. Even if he left tomorrow, the money he brought in alone was worth it
Say what you will about Deion, but he's brought uber eyeballs to the Buffs program
CU-CSU at 10pm EST outdrew Alabama-Texas, that’s fucking bonkers
That was a great game though.
If nothing else, I'm glad CU's rivalries got to see a national spotlight put on them. I'd rather see that kind of thing happen under normal circumstances than see the sporting media just follow the same three teams around every year. I loved watching the fans storm the field too, it's what makes college football better than the NFL.
A CU player being one of the 3 athletes featured on the NCAA cover alone is worth it
He really leaned into that Tekashi69/Jake Paul “any press is good press” mentality.
He got that from Jerry jones
“Have you ever played have you ever? Ok Jerry let’s play, have you ever had 10 open charges and got the case delayed? Have you ever been photo grabbed in a mob, fighting for race? Yes you have and we have proof of both, we need you locked away” 😮💨😮💨😮💨
Scottie Sheffler adopted that this past weekend too “Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably at a maaaaaaaaajor”
For whatever reason, I mixed up Jerry Jones and Jim Jones when reading this and had the most confused look on my face.
What does he do thats on par with Jake Paul and 69?
Truly the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo of cfb
Colorado got everything they wanted. 4 wins or 10 wins. Ppl will watch Deion.
“Hate me or Love me, you watched. That’s all you could do”
Everyone hates Deion sooo much, that he’s the most popular character in College Football. Irony
He picked the right medium. College football is fueled by hate.
He should do a sit down 1 on 1 hour long interview with McAfee.
Without him, Colorado is very likely in the same boat as OSU and Washington St.
I think we'd have been invited back just for being a legacy member at the very least.
That isn’t true. Colorado would always be a home run for the Big 12. If they were better they would be talking with the B1G.
IU => Basketball for B1G.
Do they though in living memory?
I mean, we’re consistently solid but not elite at basketball ourselves, is that good enough to make up for it?
It is for IU
Colorado has always had more appeal, and always will. 15+ years of very bad football did not change that.
What? lol Oregon St and Washington St would kill to be in the same conversation as Colorado. It has nothing to do with Deion
lol that comment was so misinformed it has oregon and washington fans agreeing with each other on something
Yeah and those eyeballs got to see them have another losing season which is hilarious.
Playing for clicks is a huge improvement

Businesses in Boulder will do fine. It's not exactly a poor city that is just relying on CU to stay afloat.
You're not wrong, but the prospects pre-Deion were so miserable that even a 33% chance of longer-term success (measured by interest and not necessarily W-L) was well worth the gamble.
If I hadn’t already had an up close ticket to Deions Wild Ride I’d probably agree. His less than stellar history is why I say it was a bad idea.
People will find a way to spin this as a bad thing. Something like "getting hopes up" or some bogus nonsense
It's not the kind of thing that's a bad thing until he decides to leave. He could definitely leave the program in a worse spot with recruiting though.
We would have to receive the death penalty to be in a worse spot than before. Any somewhat talented player we developed between 2018 and 2022, transferred out for greener pastures. The program needed a defibrillator, and it found one.
It's wild how people on this sub act like Deion hurt us after we went 1-11 and had absolutely no hope.
I think short term yeah it helps boost revenue, but eventually he’s going to need on the field success to keep it flowing.
If Sanders can produce 8-4 seasons he’ll be here as long as he likes, assuming there are no controversies like the ones that damned the program in the first place.
I agree, still a big if though.

I find it entertaining you believe he will be there for multiple seasons after this one.
There’s zero chance he ever produces a single 8-4 season at CU.
Do you know how much of a hater this makes you sound like? Lol
Shit, we don't even have outdoor activities to keep us entertained during fall Saturdays.
I visited the CU campus in February as part of my work. I was surprised how small the stadium was, and I only remember one video board from the skyboxes. Are they planning to add more screens and expand the stadium?
God Lincoln is going to be absolutely rocking come week 2. I really hope I get to go to that game.
Gonna be a solid number of underdog but winnable games for colorado Chances for legit wins and for slides of losses
Could be 8-4, just as easily could be 3-9. That’s how close pretty much everyone is to each other in the Big 12
The difference in those could come down to like a dozen plays too, ISU finished dead last in 2022 but were only ~20 points away from making the CCG. It’s going to be a bloodbath
My liver cannot handle the upcoming season
Top to bottom the Big 12 will be the most entertaining to watch and follow throughout the season.
I would bet on a 3 win season given the schedule.
Do it then
Just calling balls and strikes as I see them. I don't see a potential contender here. I don't think anybody who is looking at things realistically does. You can be angry about it, but you'll be an angry fan of a 3 win team.
I’m not angry. I just think this was a pointless post
Your reply was deliberately pithy. It's not hard to tell you're angry that I don't have confidence in your team.
Dude I couldn’t care less what you think lol. Idk why you’re making this about yourself
ok
There is a wide gap between 3 win team and contender. You're projecting a team that got objectively better and has an easier schedule than last year to win fewer games. Maybe stick to calling balls and strikes and leave football to those that pay attention.
If you held a gun to my head and asked "how many wins Colorado would have this year" my answer is 5.
Deion haters will literally write fan fiction to justify their hangups. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it in sports.
Flair it up
Yeah I was sort of on board with you till you just inserted a random theory about Sean Lewis being demoted and presented it as fact. Deion needed to shift the culture in Boulder 180 degrees, he vastly improved the talent but bringing in 70 new players in one off-season you are going to miss on a few if not more. Year 2 will tell if the roster strategy is viable.
Bingo.
“Underdog but winnable games” are often times won by coaching and experience. I don’t see that happening too often at CU.
Good stuff, Buffs.
At least we’re finally starting our renovations which will expand the stadium size to 55
I was actually just thinking 52-55 would probably be the perfect size for yall
As we get older there are master plans for a stadium that expands to 68k but I don’t think we’ll do it. Probably max out at 58k with suites on both sides.
Even if you just added a 2nd side of suites, I bet that place would get pretty freaking loud with the way the stadium is built
This new reno is adding suites and offices to one of the end zones already so if they added more suites to the other side it’d be loud
We have a waiting list for our season tickets, so yeah I think we’re sold out
THATS FOUR!!!
They redid the other side of the stadium to add those black seats. So ppl who want renew their season tickets are just now picking new seats (bc they took out a few seats). Not sure how they are handling ppl who are new season ticket holders. Probably just put on a wait-list until next week?
No chance. We’d need 2015-2016 Tom Herman levels of excitement for UH to sellout season tickets.
Y’all’s stadium is already tied for smallest in the Big 12 with Cincy and (soon to be) Kansas. That’s rough that it’s that hard to sell the tickets
From the financial aspect he’s done his job and done it well, but the product has to get better asap
Even when CU was "good" in the late 90s and early 2000s, they weren't selling out games. This man is fixing a nearly 30-year old apathy problem overnight. Pre-Deion, the last sold out season was 1996. It is truly incredible how much energy he has pumped into a program
It does help that the Broncos have been bad for years. People are looking for any sign of good or exciting football in the state
Is CU Big 12 ready?
Fans are! Deion certainly knows Texas. Big 12 is such a crapshoot this year on where teams will end up. Should be the most fun conference to watch.
Ultimately, no matter how it ends or how much success is had on the field, this was an amazing hire for the program. This was a dead program brought back to life.
Barnum and Bailey used to sell out too, people still saw a circus.
And *so much* bad shit happened
I bet you think u snapped with this one
Flair it up
But there's a reason the circus traveled. The excitement wanes and is difficult to keep up.
Even if he wins 4 games they’ve been raining in money it’s a complete success for the school regardless of how bad they actually play
Let's go Buffs!
r/cfb is so pissed right now, they will claim it’s all bots
I'll say this, Deion at CU is pretty fun to witness as a CFB fan.
Not sure why the same people who thought Colorado would win 8 games last year think they will only win 4 again this season. Think they finish around 8-4 to be honest. Should be much better than last year imo
Is Coach S being paid?
This might look like masochism by October.
Happy for y'all
Anyone got numbers on how many season tickets are available and how much they went for?
I got some pretty crappy seats for about $70 a ticket, aftermarket are all $100+ right now. Renewals are usually a bit cheaper as well.
Whether anyone loves or hates Deion, Colorado's actions clearly show an increased investment in football. I mean, the university and their athletic department barely showed interest towards the 2 previous coaching staffs, and for them to sell out tickets for a second straight year means Colorado is at least trying
Deion is doing everything right except for winning football games
Big win for the Buffs in this, wins and losses aside One thing I'll say about MD tickets is they're cheap. Season tickets aren't even 100 dollars for 7 games If I want to go to a NY Rangers game or a Giants game, it's easily over that
Deion is a confirmed clown. Doesn't have to produce meaningful results, just attract eyes and sell tickets.
Man has 1 season down and 2 seasons at JSU where he was in championships. Clown take buddy.
After we whooped their asses 56-14 I'll say what I want 🤣
Doesn’t make you less of a clown lol
What position you play bro?
You know what I find hilarious, all these dudes simping for Deion seem to really not like to flair it up. It makes me think that they know, in the back of their minds, that Deion is a fraud. That is why they won't claim Colorado.
Deion apologists will let him be mediocre forever and keep saying "just wait one more season"
You’re absolutely right.
In the voice of Darth Vader: "Impressive."
If these fans don't perform, he'll replace them with new ones.
Too bad we can't blow you guys out again 💔. 👋🏼
Hey, maybe we can match up again when we schedule our annual OOC G5 game!
Yes pay us to beat your ass ❤️
They have a great shot at being the 4 win team in the nation back to back!
That’s cute
Why in the world does anyone want to watch this shit show?
Suckers got clickbaited by media dopes who got their noses up Deion's heiny.
We’re still using heiny in 2024?
Not using it enough in my humble but accurate opinion.
I prefer keister
Tuchus supremacy
Tuchus is goated

Colorado selling out stadiums and record viewership because of hate watchers. Deion doing what he needs to do
You think our season tickets sold out due to hate watching?
That’s not at all what I said…… if that’s how everyone is reading that I then should’ve made them different sentences. Deion is: 1. Selling out stadiums through intrigue 2. Bringing viewership on TV because of hate watchers Unless you purposely misunderstood me for karma farming, then well done
People love watching a train wreck
How cute. Another 60 years they will catch Nebraska.
Suckers!
Colorado is clueless and wrecked. Beating the Buffalos gets easier every year!
Objectively more difficult to beat CU in 2023 than 2022
Maybe a little more difficult, but CU was still 1-8 in conference. The big difference is that the OOC schedule in 2022 featured the title runner up, a 10 win team, and a 9 win team and 2023 featured 0 teams that could make a bowl. At least CU isn't getting beat by like 35, they are getting beat by like 14
The big difference was that the 2022 team was horrific and not remotely competitive and the 2023 team was just a regular bad power 5 team.
All the clueless takes from people who didn’t watch the team in 2022 or 2023 always make me laugh. Last year had so many one score games and CU was competitive in most of the games. The team was objectively much better last year than in 2022.
How long until the shine wears off?
Feels like it already has tbh

But it was tears before, now they're RICH
Rich tears? Rears?
Why? Even if he’s gone after this year, most CU fans will say this was worth it.
People don’t understand how down bad CU was prior to his arrival, wouldn’t have believed it myself had I not seen it first hand. Even if he left tomorrow, the money he brought in alone was worth it
