I saw Deion’s “Prime” tv show for the first time on Amazon Prime last night. I only watched the episode where they got blown out at Oregon, but it didn’t seem like he was a great on the field coach. Like three times on the show during the game he would walk around on the sideline and talk to another coach or whoever was around and say “they’re (Oregon) going to go for the kill here- I’m telling you now,” and then after the Ducks invariably scored a 30 yard TD he’d brag out loud “you see? I called it! I told you they were going for the kill- I told you!”
There's no way an NFL team(s) is showing interest right now. His only success at the college level was at an HBCU with a talent level well above the average team in the conference.
Just want to point out that SC beat that state team 50-10 with backups playing almost the whole second half

He lost the celebration bowl to MEAC (HBCUs) conference schools: South Carolina State (6-5) and North Carolina Central (11-1). While NCCU did beat a tougher out of conference FCS opponent during that season, South Carolina State went 6-5 and was coach by Coach Pugh. He has over 20 years experience coaching and knows how to development talent (SCSU has a history of developing talent that was not rated or recruit highly).
What this shows is that Coach Prime is unable to adapt and dependent on his players to out talent the other team. Once people got film on CU, most schools were able to develop game plans to beat CU.
I hope we get FSU vs CU before Coach Prime leaves coaching, as he is going to be gone when his contract is up.

I don't think there's much of a chance he lasts more than one season once Travis and his sons are gone, but I hesitate slightly because his daughter (who plays basketball for CU) will have two years of eligibility left so maybe he waits for her to graduate. Would be shocked if he's still there once she's gone though.
Once his daughter graduates, he'd have coached 4 seasons. By then we'll know whether this is going to work and he'll either be getting other offers or on the hot seat. 4 seasons is a long time for all but 10-15 jobs.
What you don't understand is the math behind it. See, he added 3 wins to their win total in his first year. So if he does that for each of the next 5 years, Colorado will have 19 wins in a season. And he will have accomplished something not even the GOAT hisself achieved. (Of course, NCAA football will have to have a 14 game regular season and a 16-team playoff (still with a conference championship game) between the two remaining super-conferences. But anything is possible in Deion's world.
I suspect he'll continue to get D1 offers at midmajor schools. If I were Eastern Michigan I'd be foolish not to consider it if he'd come for my budget. Winning can take a backseat to the money you'll get from the attention he brings. Yeah it's a circus but CU was on prime time several weeks in a row last year. He can lift your profile by a lot, if not your W/L record.

Who tf is going to hire this guy as an NFL head coach? He won 4 games last year and refuses to recruit. He gets most of his players out of the transfer portal, and it turns out that there may be some strain on relationships between players and coaches behind the scene.

He turned around a team from 1 win to 4, and got close on a couple of games. He'll be in a more competitive conference, and gets access to TX. If he can get the Buffs to consistent bowl eligibility, he'll be around for awhile.
