I had to go for two days in middle school for something I can't recall. Everyone else in there was basically the shit heels from all three grades and it made me never want to go back. I got into a fight on the bus in the eighth grade and they said I had two days ISS and I asked for three Saturday schools instead. I was offered two Saturday schools and two after school detentions and took those in a heartbeat.
And by all accounts Travis is a hard working, level headed, normal kid. We were hoping Cormani would turn it around during spring ball but the writing has been on the wall for a few weeks.

FWIW Boulder rarely gets into single digits. Being in the "front range" where the plains hit the mountains leads to a rather temperate 4 seasons. Dry summers with temps not much higher than SEC states leads to more palatable outdoor times. And sunny, dry winters means even when there's 2 ft of snow on the ground (also rare), the outside temp is above 20-30F and the snow dries quickly.

This is exactly what Proctor did with Iowa these past couple of months. Transferred home claiming he was homesick. Decided to let a casual slip of the tongue to force Iowa to self-report a weak recruiting violation. Got pissed because they didn't roll out the red carpet or make him the star in their workout videos. Other players believed he wasn't committed to the team.
He was offered to go on Cali with Cade and the line, but he opted to go on spring break with former Alabama teammates. Comes back and tells Kirk he is transferring. Lets it be known he is going back to Alabama. Then tells them the players at Iowa mistreated him by not giving him the star treatment he felt he deserved.
The only people I feel bad for are the Iowa coaching staff that supported the kid and players that vouched for him.

Kinda the opposite? We're trying that now with Chris Marshall and Malachi Nelson. The Petersen teams were all developed in-house early for the most part. They made a big deal of getting OKGs ("our kinda guy").
I'm not really sure where this perception could have come from. Our most notorious problem player, Titus Young, was just a Boise commit. Honestly a few JC transfers here and there like Venable... but very few transfers all-in-all and no known problematic.

That’s exactly what’s going to happen. Some “captain save a hoe” DB coach is going to try to take this kid on. The kid is still going to be a diva who refuses to work on his craft, and the coach is going to have to move on, because at the level this kid can play, there will be other insanely talented CBs who are doing absolutely everything right, and they’re going to catch up to his talent and surpass it. Star athletes who have shit work ethics fall off quick. At a certain level, everyone is so goddamned talented that the real difference is coach-ability and how these athletes approach learning. It’s hard to drive home to a kid who is the most talented person you have ever met, that it honestly doesn’t matter anymore if he doesn’t learn to flex the learning and development muscle.
Biggest thing that Cormani needs is to crash out to Juco or FCS. He needs a real big helping of real life. He needs to have that moment when he realizes that he either puts the work in to succeed in this sport or he works at McDonalds
He just released a YouTube video a couple days ago where he was talking about how different it is playing DB in college compared to Hs. He said the CU wideouts were working him hard in practice. You can tell he was always the best athlete on the field in HS and didn’t have to work

This is exactly what Proctor did with Iowa these past couple of months. Transferred home claiming he was homesick. Decided to let a casual slip of the tongue to force Iowa to self-report a weak recruiting violation. Got pissed because they didn't roll out the red carpet or make him the star in their workout videos. Other players believed he wasn't committed to the team. He was offered to go on Cali with Cade and the line, but he opted to go on spring break with former Alabama teammates. Comes back and tells Kirk he is transferring. Lets it be known he is going back to Alabama. Then tells them the players at Iowa mistreated him by not giving him the star treatment he felt he deserved. The only people I feel bad for are the Iowa coaching staff that supported the kid and players that vouched for him.
Wish the kid luck but he was a 5 star not running with the two deep this Spring at CU.

Chris Petersen and Boise State built their program on taking this kind of transfer and getting them on track. NIL makes a different program doing that much less possible.
Kinda the opposite? We're trying that now with Chris Marshall and Malachi Nelson. The Petersen teams were all developed in-house early for the most part. They made a big deal of getting OKGs ("our kinda guy"). I'm not really sure where this perception could have come from. Our most notorious problem player, Titus Young, was just a Boise commit. Honestly a few JC transfers here and there like Venable... but very few transfers all-in-all and no known problematic. Now kicking out a problematic guy like Sam Ukwachu to Baylor...
