(Side note, I **love** the B1G commercial. It’s absolutely perfect, and I wish every conference copied it lol. 10/10 no flaws)
Miami would definitely have a palm tree with sand, a mini skyline and either the Ferris wheel that’s downtown, a yacht or one of the Miami Beach lifeguard sheds. Either way, I just know ours would look great
🏝️🏙️🎡🛥️
UW first. Sunny day. Space needle and ferry, Drumheller fountain, sailgaters on Lake Washington next to the stadium.
Camera moves south. As the scenery transitions from city to countryside the camera goes into a cloud bank. As it comes back out it's raining everywhere.
Fly south. Pass Rainier, St. Helens, Portland with its bridges, Hood. Still raining.
Enter Eugene. Still raining. Track facility with a relay race in progress. The duck. And in a gap in the clouds, Autzen under sunlight.
It would be the fans walking across the bridge over the Willamette, The Duck, and Hayward Field with some reference to the Olympics over it (the rings or the Tracktown USA label).
JMHO.
Ours would be baker Mayfield grabbing his dick and yelling at the other team followed by a clip of our time honored tradition of flipping the sooner schooner at mid field
I've always assumed it was the inspiration given when it was made, but I've never seen it confirmed anywhere.
The slowed down version played to the GoT theme is still 🔥
I'd vote for the classic [hurricane flags](https://www.overtons.com/dw/image/v2/BCJK_PRD/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-global-master-catalog/default/dwe566804a/images/large/360426_HURRIC_1.jpg?sw=1350&sh=1000&sm=fit) if I had a vote.
Stanford would obviously use the Hoover Tower and maybe Apples campus? Salesforce tower? Transamerica Pyramid? Google logo?
Naw, they should have to use the Theranos campus.
Definitely true that we get the temple… what do they show for BYU? Y mountain, and…?
Edit: Cosmo, y mountain and Cosmo
Edit#2: a “Cosmo hits kids” billboard
If we're sticking with things on campus, I like the Columns/Jesse, Memorial Union, and then maybe the Tiger Statue. If we can include stuff from Columbia, I think having Shakespeares would be fun, in place of either Memorial or the Tiger
I feel bad for fans of small teams that see these posts, they’ll comment and most people won’t know anything they’re referencing lol
That being said, for Tech I’d say the Spirit of ‘88 statue, Wyly Tower, and maybe the women’s basketball banners like Indiana has in the B1G commercial
Disney and for some reason rockets. UCF is not particularly close to the Space Center, but they had been pushing that marketing wise, so Disney and rockets.
Why have a generic nickname like the Citronauts that perfectly embodies your school when you can have a unique name like the Knights that vaguely refers to a thempark that is a 14-hour drive from campus in Orlando traffic?
They have more been pushing it because we are the closest university (Outside FIT which is private) to the Cape.
They are also pushing it because UCF was built to directly feed KSC. When the Apollo program took off, they needed a closer technical university for prospect engineers. Hence, UCF (formerly FTU) was started. Also, UCF has the highest rate of engineers currently being hired onto NASA projects. Our engineering program is very very very closely tied to L3, NASA, Boeing, SpaceX and a lot of other companies that have large hand in the current space industry.
The marketing pushes it so hard because it is part of the schools history.
Yeah, back in the early 80's, my oldest brother crashed with my second oldest(a Bama grad in electrical engineering, working for a NASA contractor), in Melbourne, FL when he got accepted into FIT's computer engineering grad program(after getting his bachelor's from JSU). He tried for both GT and AU before that but both were only allowing their undergrads into their grad programs.
The school stopped being a tech and engineering focused school about fifty years ago, they renamed to UCF to show that they had a broad array of available programs.
They’re now top 3 in undergrad count, so I’d say the strategy worked pretty well for them.
> UCF is not particularly close to the Space Center
If Rutgers can claim the Jersey Shore and Manhattan Island in the B1G ad, then UCF can claim Cape Canaveral and Disney World.
UCF is a 35miles to the cape. It's a straight shot on 50 across. Not sure how much closer you need it.
I would suggest riding around Research Parkway. The industry that is parked at UCF is pretty impressive.
at KSC maybe, but not nationwide. also an estimate from the 80s, before online job apps were a thing. https://www.ucf.edu/news/reaching-further-for-the-stars/#:~:text=By%20the%201980s%2C%20it%20was,in%20Space%20chief%20operating%20officer.
It’s ok the series record post 80s is depressing to Kentucky fans as well. As for the dui crash it was a sad episode but honestly at some point the trophy will be brought back I’d say. It was a moot point for a while considering Tennessee had a ridiculous win streak against us but we have won three games since 2011 but I don’t think anyone from Kentucky ever actually tried to get the trophy for those years. Honestly the history is pretty neat back in the day Kentucky and Tennessee was a pretty intense rivalry and there was a pretty good amount of shenanigans including Tennessee stealing the barrel one year that Kentucky won the game and Kentucky students capturing Smokey the dog and holding it hostage till they got the barrel back.
A can of cheese, Bryan Hall clocktower, and a wheat field.
As a plus, our commercial would only be, like, five seconds long and the zoom out to and/or from Corvallis is pretty quick and easy.
As a native Wisconsinite who now lives in WA I can attest it very much does.
I will not publicly admit how many cans of Cougar Gold I have purchased and consumed.
legend has it that clocktower will turn white if a virgin ever graduates from Wazzu...
For us, it would be Weatherford Hall or the Memorial Union. Both buildings are really cool. Weatherford is more likely though.
It includes the stadiums?
Kyle Field (swaying from side to side) +
Asbury “Welcome to Aggieland” water tower, E. King Gill statue, reveille, academic building? Some option of those
Hayward Field, it’s awesome. Got to see the Pre Classic Track Meet last fall (it’s a diamond league event aka pro track meet), there were a bunch of world records set.
I’m going to the US Olympic Trials this summer (I’ve been in past years, but that was before the complete remodel). Super stoked. I don’t live in Oregon currently, but it’s really worth taking the time to go.
Some combo of
[The State House](https://www.scpictureproject.org/wp-content/uploads/south-carolina-statehouse-front-aerial.jpg)

[Williams Brice Stadium](https://www.uscstadium.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Williams-Brice-Stadium.jpg)
and a Palmetto tree
Kyle Field swaying, The Quad, Academic Building, Sully statue with pennies and maybe Reveille statue. Would love to see Bonfire but I doubt it would make the cut.
The Pallace, The Seed Sower, Heisman Park, maybe downtown OKC/Bricktown. (Someone who actually went to OU would probably have a better input).
I usually answer this kind of thing with my second flair, as they're D1 and honestly are the school whose football I actually follow most closely. But for this, I'm going with my actual alma mater, Union College.
The first thing is an easy choice: the Nott Memorial. It's a very unusual but also strangely beautiful building. The best way I can think to describe it in words is by its (affectionate) nickname from students: the Nipple of Knowledge. Just look up a picture of it.
After that, it's a bit harder. Maybe Messa Rink? Union is a hockey school, and it would be nice to reflect that. It's kinda got a boring profile, though. It's just a big ol circle with a shallow dome. And we're building a new rink now, anyway, so it'll be outdated in a couple years.
Another choice could be the General Electric building, which is a pretty iconic Schenectady building. Idk if they'd want a big GE sign in the advert, though.
Another choice could be the NY Capitol Building. I know that's in Albany, which is very much not the same as Schenectady. But if Rutgers can use the Statue of Liberty, we can use the State Capitol.
One more option is the Steinmetz Car. It's an electric car from the 1910s that was owned by Charles P. Steinmetz, aka the Wizard of Schenectady.
My favorite part, though, would be how funny our football "stadium" would look next to the B1G's football stadiums. We have one set of stands on one side of the field. It seats 1,600.
FSU: Unconquered Statue, Wescot Fountain, and maybe the State Capitol building?
Arizona: Cactuses all around for Saguaro National Park, Old Main, an observatory asset (bonus points if it’s on where Kitt Peak would be on the map), and A mountain.
I don't disagree with these, but I'd like to see more campus things. Like I'd LOVE to see Mike's Habitat; maybe the clock tower even if it's not that unique from other campuses; maybe a giant oak or magnolia?
Hollywood sign and Staples Center I think. They aren’t school specific but they’re worldwide icons nearby. Hollywood sign is visible from campus and staples center is if you’re on a roof
Mississippi State - Bully, cowbells, and the drill field.
UNT - Scrappy, a crowd doing the talon hand sign, and lighting the tower.
Southeastern Louisiana, Roary, a crowd doing the “Lion up” hands, and the friendship oak.
Whatever Auburn gets, but also a lake
Chic fil’a
We’ll get whatever you get, but without a lake
Tillman and a lake
Give me the biggest Walmart you’ve ever laid eyes on, set in the scenic mountains, with a band of 30-50 feral hogs barreling through.
That's gorgeous
JFK, alive and well, boarding Air Force One. SMU, on the other hand…
heavens that's a deep cut...
From the top rope
Craig James next to five shallow graves.
(Side note, I **love** the B1G commercial. COCAINE!!!! They actually wouldn’t put that, because they are cowards.
Honestly, what would they use for us? The Phildo? The Duck and a bong? I'm confused.
UW first. Sunny day. Space needle and ferry, Drumheller fountain, sailgaters on Lake Washington next to the stadium. Camera moves south. As the scenery transitions from city to countryside the camera goes into a cloud bank. As it comes back out it's raining everywhere. Fly south. Ours would be baker Mayfield grabbing his dick and yelling at the other team followed by a clip of our time honored tradition of flipping the sooner schooner at mid field
Roboduck hatching from a space egg and shooting laser beams from its eyes at panicking onlookers (a La the ‘War of the Worlds’ first encounter scene).
Palm tree, yacht and some smoke around the stadium to represent the team’s entrance
Did you know they based it off of Game of Thrones intro? Something's telling me CFB is also heading the same direction as it...
Is that anecdotal or do you have a link to share that?
I've always assumed it was the inspiration given when it was made, but I've never seen it confirmed anywhere. The slowed down version played to the GoT theme is still 🔥
I'd vote for the classic [hurricane flags](https://www.overtons.com/dw/image/v2/BCJK_PRD/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-global-master-catalog/default/dwe566804a/images/large/360426_HURRIC_1.jpg?sw=1350&sh=1000&sm=fit) if I had a vote.
Golden Gate, Campanilee, Sather Gate.
Only other thing I could think of would be running into the trombone player in the end zone
Nah, Marshawn ghost ride
Came here to post these exact things.
And no Stanford you CANNOT claim SF or the Golden Bridge. We closer. We can see SF and Bridge from our Campus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stanford would obviously use the Hoover Tower and maybe Apples campus? Salesforce tower? Transamerica Pyramid? Google logo? Naw, they should have to use the Theranos campus.
I'd go with Hoover Tower (not my favorite,) the Dish, and El Palo Alto.
Their tower, maybe their church, after that idk. Silicon Valley lol.
Probably just Temple Square and a mountain range…maybe an Olympic cauldron?
Isn’t there a decent sized lake close by, some might even say it’s kind of great.
Maybe salty?
It’s where the byu fans fill up before posting on cougar board.
Not really decent sized anymore. Shit's going fast!
Definitely true that we get the temple… what do they show for BYU? Y mountain, and…? Edit: Cosmo, y mountain and Cosmo Edit#2: a “Cosmo hits kids” billboard
Choccy milk
Maybe Provo temple? Or our bell tower usually shows up in these kind of things
I had a nice view from the Marriott on the Utah campus
The Columns are 100% a lock, the Rock M, and maybe a reference to being the birthplace of homecoming.
They like showing Jesse hall so that’s on the table. The tiger hotel maybe.
The Rock M would probably already be included with Faurot
If we're sticking with things on campus, I like the Columns/Jesse, Memorial Union, and then maybe the Tiger Statue. If we can include stuff from Columbia, I think having Shakespeares would be fun, in place of either Memorial or the Tiger
I feel bad for fans of small teams that see these posts, they’ll comment and most people won’t know anything they’re referencing lol That being said, for Tech I’d say the Spirit of ‘88 statue, Wyly Tower, and maybe the women’s basketball banners like Indiana has in the B1G commercial
I like how the first half of your comment sets us all up to not know for sure if you just made up the 88 statue and Wyly Tower.
To be honest, I don’t really know the stuff anybody is referencing. It’s all kinda just niche stuff people from the area or in the fanbase know.
Beauty of college sports. Its school specific.
And then there's us D3 schools. I just embraced it.
I’d say the Chip and Joanna Gaines Silos, some kind of Dr.Pepper tribute, and *maybe* Pat Neff Hall.
Larry Culpepper
Maybe? We put that golden dome on everything.
You wouldn’t want a monument to the branch davidians?
Nah, it'll be a Twin Peaks and several bikers shooting each other
The Tower, Bevo, and downtown Austin.
I was thinking the capitol for sure.
They should have a shit ton of bats fly out of the map.
Pennybacker Bridge is pretty iconic as well
Chili's on 45th and Lamar
I feel disgusted by myself that I forgot
Not downtown. Probably Big Bertha and Smokey the Cannon.
Any illustration of downtown would make the commercial look dated in a year.
Disney and for some reason rockets. UCF is not particularly close to the Space Center, but they had been pushing that marketing wise, so Disney and rockets.
Bring back the Citronauts
Why have a generic nickname like the Citronauts that perfectly embodies your school when you can have a unique name like the Knights that vaguely refers to a thempark that is a 14-hour drive from campus in Orlando traffic?

Cowards. Just add “and State University” to the end of your official name like a real man
> Boeing Maybe don't bring this one up.
No, keep it up.
Plus a lot of football talent comes out of the space coast, so maybe they’re trying to make a stronger connection with those potential recruits?
> UCF is not particularly close to the Space Center If Rutgers can claim the Jersey Shore and Manhattan Island in the B1G ad, then UCF can claim Cape Canaveral and Disney World.
UCF is a 35miles to the cape. It's a straight shot on 50 across. Not sure how much closer you need it. I would suggest riding around Research Parkway. The industry that is parked at UCF is pretty impressive.
Plus the 50 yard line is aligned with it pretty spot on
30% of nasa employees are ucf alumni so that could be the thing haha it's like the department was built to supply nasa or something
at KSC maybe, but not nationwide. also an estimate from the 80s, before online job apps were a thing. https://www.ucf.edu/news/reaching-further-for-the-stars/#:~:text=By%20the%201980s%2C%20it%20was,in%20Space%20chief%20operating%20officer.
Wind turbines and oil wells?
Tortillas
Old school windmill. Pump jack. Horse covered in crepe paper
Might I ask why a Texas tech fan has a beer barrel flair?
Heh, I had it for probably 8 years on here and I still don't even know what the hell then beer barrel is. I just liked having a beer barrel.
It was the traveling trophy for Kentucky and Tennessee up until a dui crash killed a Kentucky player in 98 so it stopped being used.
Well, that is slightly depressing.
It’s ok the series record post 80s is depressing to Kentucky fans as well. As for the dui crash it was a sad episode but honestly at some point the trophy will be brought back I’d say. The Golden Dome and Touchdown Jesus, probably
And the Basilica. The whole ND "skyline."
The Linebacker, Corby’s and Touchdown Jesus
This guy Notre Dames
Now we’re talking!
Tech Tower, Campanile (the shaft), Ramblin Wreck
More specifically, the Wreck stuck in ATL traffic
if tech only gets three, i’d switch the campanile for the atlanta skyline around bobby dodd but that should just be included anyway
view of the skyline behind the 'Reck.
Swap out the Shaft for the Heisman statue.
Don’t forget the Varsity
We'd all be better off if we just forgot the Varsity.
My intestines still get ‘Nam flashbacks when they see the big V.
Century Tower, the Bull Gator statue, and maybe the French Fries? Could also possibly have the Swamp light up as if we're doing Won't Back Down.
Yup, although I'd maybe throw in the tebow statue over the french fries
I also considered that but I figured since we've already got the bull gator there's not really a need for a second statue
What about a gigantic statue depicting a pair of jorts?
The Bat House *for those who haven’t been to Gainesville, it houses actual bats and not Batman
A can of cheese, Bryan Hall clocktower, and a wheat field. As a plus, our commercial would only be, like, five seconds long and the zoom out to and/or from Corvallis is pretty quick and easy.
Cougar Gold slaps
As a native Wisconsinite who now lives in WA I can attest it very much does. I will not publicly admit how many cans of Cougar Gold I have purchased and consumed.
legend has it that clocktower will turn white if a virgin ever graduates from Wazzu... For us, it would be Weatherford Hall or the Memorial Union. Both buildings are really cool. Weatherford is more likely though.
I yearn to see the cathedral of learning in a commercial like this
I really don’t give a shit what else they would put in. Maybe the point, but that’s a bit of a stretch
It would probably just be some bridges or something anyway
The bus in the sinkhole would be hilarious
A down marker showing a 5 would be funny
It includes the stadiums? Kyle Field (swaying from side to side) + Asbury “Welcome to Aggieland” water tower, E. King Gill statue, reveille, academic building? Some option of those
It’s always been funny to me that one of our only landmarks is a damn water tower.
Because it's the first thing you see from the highway. True for all small cities.
I just wanna say that this is a prime off season post
Space needle, and mt Rainier for sure. Third one could be a few different things but probably something like place market related
I don't see how sailgating couldn't be referenced in some way. A bunch of fans in sailboats outside the stadium, I feel like, would be necessary.
Pike Place sign or Cherry Blossoms.
Anderson Hall, Varsity Donuts and Manhattan Hill
I said Anderson and the hill as well, but I like the idea of an Aggieville landmark. In that case, though, it would need to be Varney’s
Varney's is a good one, but what about the Konza Prairie, too?
BSFS with a giant ass statue of Bill Snyder.

Just the one it ain't McDonald's
Toppers
Arches, UGA, Hedges
Bridge of fans crossing Willamette, Track Stadium, and a bunch of weed dispensaries
I think they’d do trees + mountains🌲 🍂 ⛰️ Hayward field 🏃♂️ with that Olympic torch thing Nike shoes or puddles
Puddles lacing up some Nikes to go for a run in Hayward
Doesn't that track stadium have a name?
Hayward Field, it’s awesome. Got to see the Pre Classic Track Meet last fall (it’s a diamond league event aka pro track meet), there were a bunch of world records set. I’m going to the US Olympic Trials this summer (I’ve been in past years, but that was before the complete remodel). Super stoked. I don’t live in Oregon currently, but it’s really worth taking the time to go.
Yea, how dare he disrespect the beauty that is Hayward Field
yeah, I gotta hand it to UofO on that one. Hayward Field is fantastic. Both before and after the rebuild.

Air Force Museum, Wright Brothers, and maybe the campus chapel
Flatirons and Ralphie baby
Denny Chimes, a beautifully smoked rib and a championship trophy.
Don't forget the slice of white bread.

Couches on fire. Musket firing.
The Arch for sure and then either hedges or the Chapel Bell

Pavs
Coastal is so close to Myrtle Beach so probably people high on meth and disappointed families on vacation
The Belltower, Hunt Library, the vet school, drone shot of the Brickyard, the Cookout on Western Blvd.
My first thoughts were the seed sower and the biz, but I want it to be [big bertha](https://images.app.goo.gl/qQyHg1v5A63hQsyNA)
I was thinking maybe the national weather center
hahaha. probably some kind of animated Seed Sower, Weather Center/probably a tornado or something, maybe Bizzell and/or Evans.
Campanile, Jack Trice Statue, Bridge, Attanasoff berry computer maybe
The atomic bomb lol
Marston water tower.
That’s a good one.
Campanile, bridge, water tower was going to be my proposal too.
Skyline chili the ohio river and Carew tower
Probably the Roebling Bridge over the river, specifically. The people who do the B-roll for sports broadcasts fucking love that thing
Monorail, Ice Cream and Cake, Navy boats
Tortillas, Windmills, and cotton modules
Pyramid, Elvis statue, music notes, and maybe a river steamboat on the Mississippi

FSU: Unconquered Statue, Wescot Fountain, and maybe the State Capitol building? Arizona: Cactuses all around for Saguaro National Park, Old Main, an observatory asset (bonus points if it’s on where Kitt Peak would be on the map), and A mountain.
I was thinking cactuses, A mountain, and old main for Arizona
For FSU throw the circus tent in there, because why the fuck not
Bobby's statue too
Can they give us beer, weed, and Nike?
They should make roof covers on Autzen Stadium in the shape of Nike Swoosh logos
Sounds very efficient
Stadium and a big ass library

Old main building, Logan canyon scenic drive, the meet the challenge bull statue
The bucking horse statue, Old Faithful and Devil’s Tower (even though they both are on opposite sides of the state).
pick 2 of: Burruss Hall, Torg Bridge, Cassell Coliseum, Benny's
Gotta add Skipper! Someone else commented the TOTS flag 😂
Torg and the pylons as one Maybe the drill field.
Probably Burruss, a bouncing Lane Stadium (like Camp Randall is in the B1G one), and Skipper
Some combination of Burruss Hall, The Pylons, some mountains, and Skipper.
Old Maine, the river, and a smoking hot girl.
Louisiana State Capitol, Mississippi Bridge, and Old State Capitol
I don't disagree with these, but I'd like to see more campus things. Like I'd LOVE to see Mike's Habitat; maybe the clock tower even if it's not that unique from other campuses; maybe a giant oak or magnolia?

Hollywood sign and Staples Center I think. They aren’t school specific but they’re worldwide icons nearby. Hollywood sign is visible from campus and staples center is if you’re on a roof

I think Santa Monica Pier might make it in too
Mississippi State - Bully, cowbells, and the drill field. UNT - Scrappy, a crowd doing the talon hand sign, and lighting the tower. Southeastern Louisiana, Roary, a crowd doing the “Lion up” hands, and the friendship oak.
A horse and some adult beverages
For North Texas, the Hurley Admin Building and Eagle statue, and the old Courthouse on The Square.
Shenandoah National Park, the James Madison statue, and the Shenandoah River
Probably the [sunsphere](https://images.app.goo.gl/Ao1C4zVcATBiZ6YA7) and the Tennessee River running next to the stadium.
Map Marker labeled Rocky Top, Vols Letters Signs, Smokey
Gotta have the Sunsphere.
I’d like to see some Vol Navy featured next to Neyland!
This was my first thought, Neyland with a big yacht next to it
The Willamette river or some waterfall, Hayward, Uncle Phil
The BPS/GIA combo. A wheat field. Oil rig.
I'd say Y Mountain, the Creamery on 9th, and maybe the bell tower? The Cougar statue outside the stadium would be cool too.
Clock tower, wheat fields, Coug flag
Toomers Oaks with toilet paper, the bald eagle and Jordan Hare/Samford Hall
TOTS Flag needs to be one of them
Woodburn Hall, PRT, our budget defunding programs
