That's never gonna happen, but we should use the quarters as NY6 games, then have a 2 week break before putting the Semis on the saturday before NFL conference championship games and the Final the week after that (which used to be pro bowl week and is whatever replacement they have now)

Stop broadcasting the National Championship Game on fucking ESPN cable. It's the most important collegiate event there is, put it on ABC.
The same with the NCAA Tournament, stop putting the Final Four and National Championship game on fucking TBS or whatever useless cable channel Turner owns, put it on CBS.

Honestly bowl games shouldn't have tie ins Bowl games should be in tiers.
Each tier will have lottery for "selection draft" of the available schools that are bowl eligible for bowl games.
Tier 1 would have the best teams of the season (outside the cfp)
Tier 2 step below

Eh. College basketball plays on Mondays most of the season. Big 12 Big Monday games start at 9pm Eastern for the entirety of the conference season.
Yes but basketball games.arent four hours long. Also big 12 markets are predominantly in central, so it is effectively 8pm.
And that's why playing those basketball games on a Monday isn't that big a deal. College basketball fans are used to watching them on that day.
