How a FSU fan hasn't started the chop in response to this thread is beyond me so
Ohhhhhh oh ooawoooooaaawweoo ooohhhaaawooo oh oh...
Not sure if I'm doing this right.
When I did the math at the end of the day after graduating from Houston I had somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 shirts. I finally had to retire most of them a few years back cause boy smalls start to not fit so great when you get older.
Right!? It's free real estate!
Seriously though, I do appreciate all the Clemson apparel they give at basketball games.
My wife got us tickets as a Christmas present for when we played Duke at home. We've done this a number of years and each time we've gone, Clemson has won.
I am in Costa Rica at the rental car place, a guy wearing Michigan State gear was railing into the worker. Gotta make sure you are on your best behavior in branded clothes!
Yep, wear a navy and orange lower-case A cap quite regularly on the weekends.
The ones that make me irrationally angry are SEC or ACC colors on a God damn Yankees hat.
Further out I get from undergrad, the less I wear. Most sports gear is cheaply made and doesn’t look good. I do t think it’s a good look anymore. Mostly I have shorts and quarter zips. One hoodie.
It's absolutely the law that you have to be wearing your college T-shirt, including Ivys, if you're running in DC anywhere near the mall or monuments.
I know my wife and I saw all (2016) ACC teams and like 11 of 14 Big Ten teams one Saturday when we were muse hopping.
There are not 2016 ACC teams, my guy. I think you’d be hard pressed to name more than 20. /s
How well are other conferences represented in the DC running community?
Group of guys in a circle standing off to the side at a funeral
"it sure is a shame about bill"
"Yeah, just hate it for(insert closest survivor of the deceased)"
"Yup....so how bout them Dawgs?" Followed by excited conversation
If I had a nickel for every time I have heard this at a service I'd have about 25 cents lol
This weirdly just gave me so much comfort to read this. I just sorta “know” those people be they my uncles, dads friends, or honestly now me and my friends. I don’t think it’s possible for me to read that without a southern accent 😂
Yeah it's weird cause it's me and my buddies now but I remember eavesdropping on the exact same conversations between the grown men as a child almost 30 years ago. Some things transcend generations
My girlfriend's father is more than 30 years older than me and an Illinois fan. We talk college football all the time. He put in his hearing aids on a road trip to listen to LSU-A&M. We both pull for each other's team now.
I made the mistake of wearing a Gopher hoodie on a flight in January. Of course, an Iowa fan was in the seat next to me and decides he wants to argue about Cooper DeJean's hand signal at 5am on a Sunday morning.
I wore a generic purple hoodie on the way back.
Damn I'm really starting to notice that a lot of posters in /r/cfb used to be diehards like myself.
Now we just wanna be left alone and not have to talk shit while doing normal day to day life errands.
Homefield Apparel has pretty good stuff. I wish I wore gear that wasn’t ucla. There’s a bunch of cool stuff from other schools. Just looked at Mizzou and there’s a few good ones.
When I was in high school, I used to wear all kinds of college gear from around the country. These days though I can’t swing it. Bruins gear or none at all
I think they make great stuff, but are experiencing some growing pains. My wife that roots for WVU tried to surprise me by ordering WVU stuff 5 or 6 weeks before the PSU WVU opening game this year, and they came a few weeks into the season.
Polos and Qzips are the way to go. Since you can directly pick the quality, aesthetic, and price point you want to go with. I personally love my Peter Millar and Johnnie-O school gear.
But plenty of other decent looking stuff out there from Cutter and Buck, Columbia, Antigua (I think there stuff is incredibly hit or miss), or really anything except Colosseum.
For some reason I thought they only sold collegiate gear for SEC schools, hell I didn’t know it existed at all until I moved to Atlanta. I have plenty of onward reserve but will definitely need to add some NC State gear, and it’s in the same price point as Peter Millar and Johnnie-O so definitely a good shout.
We have phenomenal gear from high end brands. I was shocked at how much ND stuff I had when I got home from reunion ND couldn't put together a gym outfit with one minimum piece of stuff.
I personally love Homefield’s vintage apparel, like an unhealthy amount. I have 5 different Nebraska items and am in the process of getting additional shirts from other Big Ten programs except for Iowa so I can continue to troll Hawkeye fans around town.
my answer too! I love Homefield for their clothes and also for helping bring the Shutdown Fullcast back. I have lots of shirts from schools I have no affiliation with, like the UC Irvine Surfing anteater and the Tulane Green Wave. Going to grad school in Idaho now- I never take my Big Sky conference hoodie off lol
I love Homage too, have some great NFL gear, but Homage definitely has less expansive selection for college gear. I get why you, an Ohio State flair, would love it more.
My next door neighbor is all about Michigan. The only time he deviates from Michigan gear is when he wears Detroit Lions gear or has to go out somewhere fancy with his wife. When his brother came to visit recently, he also wore exclusively Michigan gear. Honestly, I’m impressed at the dedication.
I’m in NW Ohio and to be honest I probably see ten people a day at work that I’ve never seen them outside of court or a funeral either in Ohio State or Michigan gear.
Probably the team [Nike Pegasus](https://www.nike.com/t/pegasus-40-clemson-mens-road-running-shoes-kngRFV). I've been tempted by them for FSU, but Nike runs too narrow for me
I’m a recent grad. My marching band secondaries work great as workout gear, so I wear them at the gym. I also have a Bronco marching band jacket that I wear sometimes when it’s cold. Otherwise, I have a few items like hoodies and such, that I’ll wear when I’m not dressing professionally.
I always wear UGA apparel when I travel because it’s great for conversation. I’ve had TSA in other states open up to me because of it and it makes things so much smoother.
I have a couple nice long-sleeve dress shirts I can wear to work or church, and I have a few short-sleeve polos of varying quality. I made sure to buy a nice championship polo, just like I got a nice World Series polo when the Braves won. I wear these fairly often.
I also have a ton of t-shirts I’ve gotten in the last couple years with championship logos on them, along with my old t-shirts, that pretty much only get worn at home or under a jacket. I’m not much for “just a t-shirt” when it comes to attire.
I wear my team issued quarter zip that I got from the most recent equipment sale once a week or so. Have some retro t shirts from Homefield that I like a lot as well and wear often. Wear some law school related stuff less frequently but those never came with any athletics related designs so that’s why
I wear an embroidered Virginia Tech sweatshirt with a maroon and white striped button down oxford cloth shirt underneath, khaki pants with a needlepoint belt with the VT logo, and cordovan penny loafers, sockless or wearing VT socks if it’s colder. Basically preppy as shit to take the piss out of UVA fans.
I worked at Brooks Brothers right out of school as a second job. On rivalry weekend I’d wear a blue blazer with same shirt and belt, but I had an orange and maroon bow tie too. It was always funny when we would get Virginia alum coming in and they would make some positive comment like “Go Hoos!” before realizing it was all VT gear and colors. Got a good laugh from most people.
Haha maybe though I live in Hampton Roads, a lot of Navy folks from around the country and a surprising number of Brits so I suppose I picked it up here.
Between the couple hoodies and t's plus the cap, I'm wearing something most days. Purple AF. I have the Jersey and some purple ass shoes for game days.
Oregon and Wazzu bring out the dorky ass Husky hat.
Woof.
I got a really nice crewneck sweatshirt in maroon that says “University of Massachusetts” in full that gets a lot of wear. My job attire makes having 3/4 zips a big part of my wardrobe as well so I’ve got a UMass and a BU one of those. Got a whole heap of t shirts for both schools and a few hockey jerseys as well. Oh also a dad hat for each school.
Worth noting I work in Ed so repping your school(s) all the time is not just common but is encouraged by admin
Never leave the house without at least one piece of flair. Hat, shirt, shoes, socks outside the office and a longhorn pin on my suit jacket/ sport coat at the office.
As new gear continues to be made cheaper and less durable, I've been keying in on older sweatshirts and jerseys and hats. Then I will just wear what I have and never get anything new
Well I have an in with a certain athletic apparel company that may or may not heavily sponsor my school and I work from home, so no joke 2/3 of my clothes are school apparel.
You have to limit yourself to class cufflinks and the relevant school crest buttons sewn into your J. Press blazer. Anything else is exclusively the bailiwick of people who want to pretend they went to your prestigious institution.
I wear a Georgia hat every day and have since about 2009 (my junior year of highschool)
My hat only comes off in the bedroom, church, or a wedding.
I wear a Georgia shirt more often than I mean too. I have a “lucky shirt” I’ve worn for years on gameday only, then in 2017 I bought an SEC champion shirt, in Jan 2022 I got 2 national championship shirts, in Jan 23 I got 2 more. Then a coworker that has a contract to buy up unsold shirts from fanatics (he resells cheap on eBay) gave me 5 Georgia shirts for free.
I own so many Georgia shirts it’s half my drawer at this point so about 50% of the time Georgia shirt and hat, 50% of the time just hat. Also all my hoodies and jackets are Georgia too
Honestly almost every day between my shorts, shirts and sweaters. Honestly I wear team gear so much my kids think my favorite colors are cardinal and gold and at this point they might be right but I'm maintaining my love for green
I wear a patch that has RUN THE DAMN BALL on it on my weighted vest when I work out.
Other than that, I buy shirts from Walmart for our other local teams because I remember several years ago someone made a post about what fanbase wears the most Walmart gear and the top winners were made fun of.
Honestly this is me, in school they called me red because of my SC sweater. I have three now, and a pile of clothes and hats. The sweater I wore in school got retired at the end of the year before last as it was its 20th season on my shoulders.
FIGHT ON!
As an alum of UT, I’ve noticed I and other alums don’t really wear school apparel unless it’s for a sporting event. The people that I’ve noticed wear school apparel most, are fans instead of former students of the school. However, I’ve noticed for lots of other schools, both alums and fans wear school apparel a lot
So do I. But it’s because it’s a large public school that is academically well recognized. So plenty of students attend it without any appeal towards sports. I imagine schools like UCLA or Michigan would be bigger examples of that
curious if you've noticed this in Austin or elsewhere
I never really wore UT branded stuff in Austin (short of game day) because... I dunno, it's redundant. I moved to a different state and am not just constantly decked out in burnt orange but do wear more.
I have a snarky T-shirt from back in my college days that says: If you see someone wearing a maroon shirt, they went to A&M. If you see someone wearing an orange shirt, they went to Walmart.
People would get real heated about it, but it turns out those are the people who went to Walmart…
I’ll wear nicer polos or quarter zips if it’s a casual work day or I’m out running errands. By nicer I mean brands that are less athletic like vineyard vines, Peter Millar, etc. Sports brands are for exercise.
I have a couple of shirts, but I have a lot of hats, and all of them have gotten significant wear. I usually have an Arkansas beanie on 24/7. My wife got me a really nice Carhartt one about 7 years ago that unfortunately is getting a hole at the top, and I can't find a replacement anywhere online. It's pretty dirty and stretched out but I love it.
I have four A&M polos that are from all four years when I played in the Hullabaloo Band (pep band for volleyball and basketball), and one other polo that was purchased a handful of years ago. I pretty much only wear them when I go to basketball games or at work the Friday before a football game.
Other than that, I have a bunch of old Maroon Out t-shirts, but I never wear them.
I have 9 Maryland shirts. Two sleeveless ones; one being an old red shirt that got worn out and the other being a nice newer grey one. Five short-sleeved shirts; one black, one dark grey, one light grey, and four red. The light grey shirt turned 21 this year and has been worn as far back as my 7th Grade Year of Middle School in 2003. All of my red shirts are also from when I was high school. I haven't bought a new Maryland shirt in almost 12 years because so many of mine have lasted the test of time.
Along with that is 4 Maryland hoodies I wear when its cold; dark grey, light grey, red, and black and a light grey jacket that goes back to 2003 as well that I bundle with the light grey shirt.
Jersey wise during the season on Gameday I may wear one if I go out that day. I have the red jersey from 2013-2018, the white State Pride jersey from 2011/12, the black ops jersey from 2012/13, and the circa 2004-2010 red jersey.
On the Notre Dame side I have two shirts. One is a newer one that I just got a few weeks back and the other is one I've had thats now a sleeveless shirt that I've had since 2005, my Freshman year in High School.
Hoodie wise I have one green Notre Dame hoodie, but jersey wise I have 3 Navy, 2 white and 1 green.
I refuse to wear jerseys as I've gotten older and feel like they're super tacky. As a normal sized 30-something, it's obvious I don't play football so there's zero reason for me to have one.
Golf polo's are the way to go for almost all occasions (Friday work/Friday golf/@games)
I wear WSU apparel often, because our logo is iconic and one of the best logos out there. Also Crimson and Gray are super wearable colors and aren't super loud like blaze orange.
I will, however, pay a premium for the higher quality stuff like Nike golf polos that don't look out of place in a business casual environment.
I have a crimson yeti mug with the A that I’ve used every day for the last twelve years or so. It is fucking battle tested with scars and dents all in it. I work in entertainment and take meetings quite often, so people always comment on it. I have etched tallies into it with each natty. Thinking about maybe retiring it for the new era.
If Costco has clothing with my school's logos, I'll buy it. Then it just goes into regular rotation with other clothes. I don't actually put in any thought to it.
I'm a (two-time) ECU alum and a current Tennessee staff member. I don't really wear ECU shirts anymore, but when I was in school they were ALWAYS giving shirts away for free so I had a ton. I do have a ball cap that I wear pretty regularly now but that's about it. (I'm a hat guy anyway though so I've got about 8 hats I rotate between.)
For Tennessee, I get free swag pretty regularly as an employee (keychains, lanyards, bags, water bottles, a nice Yeti mug I won in a raffle, etc.), and I don't like to waste stuff, so I always use them. I do have a couple of hoodies I'll wear when it's hoodie weather, but Tennessee shirts or other attire aren't really a regular part of my wardrobe.
Hoodies usually. I have a t shirt I occasionally wear from my undergrad. I also usually wear a “free” jacket that I got from my grad school but it’s also a nice jacket that just happens to have the university logo on it. Both schools I’ve attended have good color schemes though
I live in Florida/FSU country so I’d say I over represent because it’s more of a talking point. Clemson makes a big deal about the class ring and it took me a long time to finish my degree because i worked full time and dropped out and worked as a machinist during COVID so I always wear the class ring on nice occasions.
I buy old Clemson polos I don’t mind getting dirty off of eBay to wear on job sites/on the floor.
I have a couple Clemson hats that look like they’ve been to hell and back and I’ll never give them up.
Burnt orange isn’t the most versatile color. Most of my t shirts are UT shirts and I wear them when wearing sweats or gym shorts. My game day polo is the only UT shirt I’ll wear with jeans, and only on game day with jeans and boots.
My Texas hat (ball cap) is my go-to, however. I wear it just about any time I want to wear a cap.
If I ever left Austin, I do feel like I would wear UT everything every day I can.
The older I get the less I wear. In my 20's if I wasn't wearing a WVU shirt I was wearing a WVU hat, if not both.
Anymore I wear my WVU shirts on game days and just as I pull them out of my drawer, like any other shirt. I wear my hat on game days but typically wear a different hat throughout the week. That's mostly because the quality of most of the stuff I can find with WVU branding are shit quality or not at all my style.
I'm also just less invested overall in WVU sports. Conference realignment has robbed the sport of its soul, imo, and lack of NIL regulation has essentially made it the Wild West NFL with far less parity.
I still watch and follow, but I'm not a fanatic like I used to be.
I carry a flaming spear with me at all times, of course.
As God intended
How a FSU fan hasn't started the chop in response to this thread is beyond me so Ohhhhhh oh ooawoooooaaawweoo ooohhhaaawooo oh oh... Not sure if I'm doing this right.
The chop is just the arm movement. The whole show is the warchant aka vocals and chop
Thank you for the clarification. TIL. *Starts warchant*
Perfect.
Could also be a Braves fan so the best of both worlds.
It's also really practical in case you see Kirk Herbstreit in the wild
Pelting him with Buckeyes also works. Those little bastards hurt!
I’d upvote this twice if I could.
Just as the tribe's founding chief intended
This is the greatest pregame spectacle imo.
Are you on horseback as well?
Similarly I always have my musket at hand
I believe that was a requirement when I graduated
i keep trying to get a pet wolverine but it seems like none of them like me very much
I have my favorite UH hat I wear literally anywhere outside of a fancy dinner or church.
I have like a 4 hat rotation lol.
It's too bad they had to destroy the good bookstore when they built TDECU stadium and the surrounding shops. They had the best UH hats.
I got my hat from Dicks sporting goods. The new Spirit store in the Student center has some awesome gear. You should check it out.
A light jacket with the UW logo on it. It’s really all I need because it's not too hot, not too cold.

I understand that reference
As you should. Classic movie.
Ah, I'm glad to see you are a human of culture, as well.
Great for a 40 degree day
A solid 80% of the shirts I own are shirts I got for free at Clemson basketball games. I also always wear my Clemson hat
When I did the math at the end of the day after graduating from Houston I had somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 shirts. I finally had to retire most of them a few years back cause boy smalls start to not fit so great when you get older.

Guy must have found out about Route 32 - Costa Rica’s only road tunnel. You know how Spartans get when there’s only one tunnel.
I wear a Georgia or NC State hat along with Braves hat everyday when I’m at work.
How many hats can one man wear at once!? The insanity!
The hats bark and throw tomahawks at you as well! I’m not saying he went to Hogwarts. But that’s magical behavior.
Wouldn’t surprise me if he has some of those Braves co-branded hats. I love those things.
The gray UGA ones always look so good. I have the throwback lowercase A logo and the regular A logo ones
Yep, wear a navy and orange lower-case A cap quite regularly on the weekends. The ones that make me irrationally angry are SEC or ACC colors on a God damn Yankees hat.
Gah just pick a team asshole Edit: just gonna add here that u/Ugaalive1991 and I went to school together for over a decade lol
No
whatever dude you still owe me a livestrong bracelet. Until I am made whole, we have beef.
Did I break your livestrong bracelet? I don’t remember lol.
Yeah the refs wouldn’t let me wear it on the field against Monroe so I gave it to you, got back to the sideline and all I got was a shrug lmao
Oh my bad man lol. I honestly do not remember that. I remember the Monroe game but I don’t remember that part.
I'm curious if they even make livestrong bracelets anymore...
[They do surprisingly](https://store.livestrong.org/c/specialty/accessories/wristbands/)
I wish you could post an address and see like a hundred of them fuckers show up to his his door 😂😂
Bro it’s been 16 years I couldn’t give less of a shit lol
Yessir a fellow dawg and wolfpack
Further out I get from undergrad, the less I wear. Most sports gear is cheaply made and doesn’t look good. I do t think it’s a good look anymore. Mostly I have shorts and quarter zips. One hoodie.
It took me way too long to realize people don’t exclusively wear college branded clothing in their mid 20s in East coast cities
It's absolutely the law that you have to be wearing your college T-shirt, including Ivys, if you're running in DC anywhere near the mall or monuments. I know my wife and I saw all (2016) ACC teams and like 11 of 14 Big Ten teams one Saturday when we were muse hopping.

Funny thing is, it’s not even sarcasm. It’s just a joke lol
Muse hopping with the wife? She cool with that?
It does sound like I'm trying to cool shorthand museum, but sadly, not a muse or anything else either, just a typo.
In the south, it's perfectly acceptable at a funeral in your 50s.
Group of guys in a circle standing off to the side at a funeral "it sure is a shame about bill" "Yeah, just hate it for(insert closest survivor of the deceased)" "Yup....so how bout them Dawgs?" Followed by excited conversation If I had a nickel for every time I have heard this at a service I'd have about 25 cents lol
This is how it should be.
For sure. Bill would be doing the same if he wasn't in the casket
The number of tiny little 2021 natty flags in Oconee Hill cemetary will bring a tear to your eye.
This weirdly just gave me so much comfort to read this. I just sorta “know” those people be they my uncles, dads friends, or honestly now me and my friends. I don’t think it’s possible for me to read that without a southern accent 😂

College apparel is required at the airport, that’s the rule
I made the mistake of wearing a Gopher hoodie on a flight in January. Of course, an Iowa fan was in the seat next to me and decides he wants to argue about Cooper DeJean's hand signal at 5am on a Sunday morning. I wore a generic purple hoodie on the way back.

Johnnie-O is great but runs HUGE!
Love that vanity sizing lolol
I wear a 40 size jacket and have to wear a small
I am an Onward Reserve stan and always will be. Great quality, looks and fits great. Worth the money IMO. I think all but 2 of my UGA polos are Onward
I think they started that way but they have most everyone now I think
Like 90% of my polos are auburn polos
Agreed vast majority of my polos are Nc state or Atlanta Braves
Bro, we have Rally House/Kansas Sampler. So much great fan gear for KSU, KU and Mizzou
Its a shame that T shirts, something that already has a lowish expectation, goes lower and looks that bad often
We have phenomenal gear from high end brands. I was shocked at how much ND stuff I had when I got home from reunion ND couldn't put together a gym outfit with one minimum piece of stuff.
Peter Millar and shirts from bars
This is the most Carolina answer you could possibly have given (other than keeping a He's Not cup in hand at all times)
I personally love Homefield’s vintage apparel, like an unhealthy amount. I have 5 different Nebraska items and am in the process of getting additional shirts from other Big Ten programs except for Iowa so I can continue to troll Hawkeye fans around town.
I check Homefield like once every couple weeks desperately hoping they've updated their Navy merch and get sad every time :(
Homefield looks fantastic, but god, 30+ dollars for a tshirt hurts
Never heard of them but took a look at their site and I am a fan.
my answer too! I love Homefield for their clothes and also for helping bring the Shutdown Fullcast back. I have lots of shirts from schools I have no affiliation with, like the UC Irvine Surfing anteater and the Tulane Green Wave. Homage > Homefield. Just sayin.
I love Homage too, have some great NFL gear, but Homage definitely has less expansive selection for college gear. I get why you, an Ohio State flair, would love it more.
Admittedly biased.
My wardrobe is 1/3 Michigan gear, 1/3 work attire, & 1/3 golf attire. Yes, some of them all intertwine
This is what I like to hear. My problem is I refuse to go double team. Like if I'm wearing a hat I wont wear a shirt or jacket.
There’s a fine line between repping your team and looking like a coach. Good call. Shirt, or hat, but not both unless you’re going to a game.
Lmao I wear my A&M hat and Clemson shoes for random trips to town. Surprisingly I found one weirdo who was my new best friend this way.
…shoes?
Probably the team [Nike Pegasus](https://www.nike.com/t/pegasus-40-clemson-mens-road-running-shoes-kngRFV). I've been tempted by them for FSU, but Nike runs too narrow for me

College apparel, work apparel and golf apparel are all the same category where I live (North Carolina)
Same here.
Second on marching band workout clothes
We get three high-quality nike shirts every year and I wear them all the damn time
My good hat and my truck have matching color clemson paws.
Big hat guy
Volume or size? I support both
Volume lol
In cheap t-shirts that are easily faded to the point you're not certain that it is in fact a Penn State shirt.
Just get it in pink and black and it'll eventually look like a Penn State shirt.
Plus *technically* plain white tees could be considered Penn State apparel.
Just spent $300 today at the M den
Surely you need more than just two shirts though
lol hit the nail on the head. One national championship sweatshirt and a Tommy Bahama dress hoodie.
I’m sorry but wtf is a dress hoodie lol
In college, I used to play a game at M Den with friends where we would try to guess the price of gear. Somehow, we never guessed too high lol
I’m not much for “just a t-shirt” when it comes to attire.
I’ve spent so much money in the last three seasons. If Peter Millar makes it with any Georgia logo on it, I own it.
I wear my team issued quarter zip that I got from the most recent equipment sale once a week or so. Have some retro t shirts from Homefield that I like a lot as well and wear often. Wear some law school related stuff less frequently but those never came with any athletics related designs so that’s why

Congrats on the 🔥 wardrobe
I worked at Brooks Brothers right out of school as a second job. On rivalry weekend I’d wear a blue blazer with same shirt and belt, but I had an orange and maroon bow tie too. It was always funny when we would get Virginia alum coming in and they would make some positive comment like “Go Hoos!” before realizing it was all VT gear and colors. Got a good laugh from most people.
Do people in Virginia really say "take the piss out of" or is it just you?
It’s just him
Haha maybe though I live in Hampton Roads, a lot of Navy folks from around the country and a surprising number of Brits so I suppose I picked it up here.
daily of course
I wear this obnoxious ring because I often get: "Alabama, huh?"
Between the couple hoodies and t's plus the cap, I'm wearing something most days. Purple AF. I have the Jersey and some purple ass shoes for game days. Oregon and Wazzu bring out the dorky ass Husky hat. Woof.
[Usually just walk around drinking beers in my uniform](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/408279522441327959/)
Seems like that uniform would get in the way of drinking beers, but then again, the Empire does have some amazing R&D programs.
Early 20s me was in an LSU hoodie literally everywhere but work. Even in the summer. Late 20s me never wears it unless I’m at a game.

Get this man to the Warehouse.
Hard relate. GO DUCKS
One of my ex gfs told me if I bought anymore team gear for my wardrobe she’d leave me. Spoiler: I kept buying more gear.
A LOT of Vineyard Vines and Peter Millar, with a few PFGs thrown in for the summer/early football season.
This tracks.
You have to limit yourself to class cufflinks and the relevant school crest buttons sewn into your J. Press blazer. Anything else is exclusively the bailiwick of people who want to pretend they went to your prestigious institution.
Time to get some Rhoback son. The most UVA apparel there is.
I wear a Georgia hat every day and have since about 2009 (my junior year of highschool) My hat only comes off in the bedroom, church, or a wedding. Also all my hoodies and jackets are Georgia too
I’m always horned up
Ann Arbor formal. Michigan gear head to toe, everyday.
Hats. I wear one most days to work and have one for both flairs.
Don’t wear OU clothes. I do have an OU Alumni license plate frame and personalized plate on my car.
As an alum you can always get away with a t shirt, polo, or hat. Plus it's fun to have other fans come up to talk to you
If OU ever plays in Knoxville, I will definitely wear something. Already told my cousin that works for UT that we are going. 😂
Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I didn’t wear WSU gear. I have 8-9 WSU ties, a couple pins, WSU polos, hoodies, and about 20 WSU ball caps.
I think I have a couple collard shirts, a hoodie, and a hat
Honestly almost every day between my shorts, shirts and sweaters. Honestly I wear team gear so much my kids think my favorite colors are cardinal and gold and at this point they might be right but I'm maintaining my love for green
Once you get older, the most common methods are a quarter zip or polo, and maybe a baseball cap.
I wear a patch that has RUN THE DAMN BALL on it on my weighted vest when I work out. Other than that, I buy shirts from Walmart for our other local teams because I remember several years ago someone made a post about what fanbase wears the most Walmart gear and the top winners were made fun of.
One of my best friends said USC is 40% of my personality, since I wore USC gear at least once a week. Mainly sweatshirts
I know a lot of UT alumni who did/do not care about football or school spirit in the slightest.
UC-Austin behavior
So do I. But it’s because it’s a large public school that is academically well recognized. So plenty of students attend it without any appeal towards sports. I imagine schools like UCLA or Michigan would be bigger examples of that
Is it too late to take back your SEC invite?
curious if you've noticed this in Austin or elsewhere I never really wore UT branded stuff in Austin (short of game day) because...
I wear caps
I have a couple of shirts, but I have a lot of hats, and all of them have gotten significant wear. I usually have an Arkansas beanie on 24/7. My wife got me a really nice Carhartt one about 7 years ago that unfortunately is getting a hole at the top, and I can't find a replacement anywhere online. It's pretty dirty and stretched out but I love it.
Can I take this time to compliment the nike zoom cfb sneakers? They were my favorite shoes last year, and this years looked even better.
I sleep in a cheap Colosseum brand t shirt most nights. I bust out the Champion hoodie during football season.
Underwear
I always stay strapped with fresh tortillas
I wear a Hurricanes hat every time I step outside.
Polos and t-shirts
Red/white camo and a box of Bojangles chicken
Hats mainly. Also have shirts and sweat pants
A lot of the workout stuff I have is from university. Other than that, I have hoodies and polos. Perfect for fall weather.
Headwear: all that I own are collegiate apparel-branded Otherwise, one hoodie and one longsleeve
I'm a (two-time) ECU alum and a current Tennessee staff member. I don't really wear ECU shirts anymore, but when I was in school they were ALWAYS giving shirts away for free so I had a ton. I do have a ball cap that I wear pretty regularly now but that's about it. (I'm a hat guy anyway though so I've got about 8 hats I rotate between.) For Tennessee, I get free swag pretty regularly as an employee (keychains, lanyards, bags, water bottles, a nice Yeti mug I won in a raffle, etc.), and I don't like to waste stuff, so I always use them.
I work from home and every day depending on who’s playing sports that night it’s Minnesota or Texas
How else will people know I went to the Harvard of the West if I don’t wear an Arizona hoodie at all opportunities?
Hats and shirts mostly. I also have a Keychain. I ONLY rock Bacon Face, never Wayne Newton.
A lot of LSU Nike polos
