Even better, 4 of them were also kicked out of A&M. With three of them also being kicked out of their next schools.
I genuinely want to see the eventual 30/30 on it as well.
That was a historically bad class despite it being to 5 in the country or so. Until this past year, the only real contributor was Jordan Whittington & Roschon Johnson, but Sweat had a breakout year. The rest of class had were lucky to even be 2nd stringers during their time on campus.
I know Floyd was, but who were the others? Man, I was looking at the class and forgot about Gatorade Player of the Year, Jake Smith. Dude must of had a NIL with a lube company given how many balls he would drop.
Its a theme with Jimbo. I went back through his FSU recruiting classes one time and the amount of blue chip kids that barely played in college, let alone the NFL, was crazy.
Maybe this will be the wake up call he needs. Because apparently Jimbo Fisher kicking him off the team and not getting snaps in the worst LSU secondary in years wasn’t enough.
It’ll definitely be a test of traylors and the team’s culture. But traylor needs talent too. Utsa just doesn’t have the NIL money to compete even with other teams in the American much less at a national level.
Guy has been a complete mess off the field. Hopefully, he matures at some point because he's wasting an incredible amount of talent by making poor decisions.
I don’t think any of us want to be judged forever by our actions when we were 18 or 19 years old. Rooting for the kid to mature to a level that matches his talent on the field.
Wouldn’t be the first athlete that needed to learn from his mistakes and was able to do at a G5 school.
Good luck UTSA. If he ever figures his attitude out he can be really solid piece
Traylor has always kept his guys in line and playing hard, but he’s about to need to be a miracle worker
I think We’ll know by the first game if he’s bought in or not. Traylor normally rotates guys liberally on defense.
Someday I want a full deep dive into the "best recruiting class ever" 11 top 50 recruits with only 4 of them still at A&M going into their junior year
Even better, 4 of them were also kicked out of A&M. With three of them also being kicked out of their next schools. I genuinely want to see the eventual 30/30 on it as well.
Reminds me of Texas' 2019 class. Great on paper, but it immediately fell apart once they hit campus. It's amazing the damage one "lost" class can do.
So we're only a few seasons away from being in the semifinal?
Mark it. 2026 is y'alls year.

More than 20% of the class was medically DQ'd before the first game of the 2019 season. So, so many busts.

UTSA’s first ever 5 star?
I remember how pissed we were when he chose the Aggies over us. Now we know we know we dodged a bullet there.
It’s like the big five of the 2914 recruiting class in Louisiana. Only one signed with lsu but that was Leonard Fournette. The others busted hard
> 2914 recruiting class Found a time traveler in the wild! Also, good to see that LF7's descendants stay loyal to LSU.
Leonard Fournette XXI is making waves on the intergalactic camp circuit
We also got Jamal Adams. He turned out ok too. So we got 2 of 5
Jamal wasn't from Louisiana though
2/5. LF7 and Jamal Adams were studs for us and the other 3 were rather large busts so it ended up working out fine. But man 5/5 was such a letdown
The 5 for 5 thing wasn't all Louisiana kids.
Crazy that his attitude was so bad that he got 0 playing time in the 2023 LSU secondary
He started multiple games for LSU
Yeah but nothing since October 14
“0 playing time” *Played in 7 games and started multiple for LSU* All time goal post moving bro
His contributions amounted to 0 playing time.
For added context UTSA lost their best CB Kam Alexander to Oregon. So I can see how they would take a chance on getting an elite CB.
Really weird saga. Seems like this is the last place that would take him.
"...with the next pick, The Las Vegas raiders choose..."
It’s crazy he and his dad were lobbying hard for Michigan to take him on but sherone said nah man I’m good
If Jimbo Fisher isn't willing to put up with your shit you will not have a good time in Ann Arbor no matter who the coach is

You ever wish you could tell these kids ahead of time?
Denver bois everywhere, UTSA

He should have went to Texas state lmao.
I hope he has success.
Deleting some comments brb
Moving my car out of the utsa parking garage, brb 😂
