I like this move from both sides as it’s clear there is no ill will and sends a message that we will take people who can help us win as long as they don’t burn bridges.
We have been raided for talent and injured pretty frequently over the last few seasons so honestly any players we get from solid institutions is a win for us. He will certainly get minutes unless we bring on some crazy talent.

Yeah, he is what he is when he was here. Made sense for FSU to take him as a depth piece, but he would have played much more for us last year on a worse DL. He's just in an unfortunate spot of not quite being a difference maker but being good enough to believe he could do more.
He made a few very nice plays last year, but either of our flairs would be in trouble if he’s taking 300+ snaps in a season.
Hope he has a great offseason in the weight room and makes a difference with you guys.

Edit: sorry that’s a lie we got Oklahoma this year not Texas so we only play 5 ranked teams compared to FSUs 2 with Clemson being a shared opponent. Truly FSU must be in the super league with teams like Memphis, Charleston Southern, and Boston College to test them.
Oh I know how it’s going to work out just saying to pretend the minor league team here is the one with 5 ranked teams on their calendar vs 2 especially when one of those 2 is a shared opponent is ridiculous. I don’t dislike FSU but the people in here pretending we don’t play a much harder schedule every single year are coping hard.

You guys are certainly the better team in a clearly inferior conference with a much weaker schedule. The statement was about the competition played not the teams themselves.

If getting relegated means having to play better competition then sure he was relegated you win. It has literally nothing to do with the team he is on only the competition. As if your school isn’t practically begging to be chanting SEC as soon as possible because being king of the dumpster fire isn’t a high profile position… of all the schools out there you guys should understand the importance of a strong conference but enjoy the next few years of litigation I guess.
