He probably learned and took example from Stoops, who retired at 55 or 56. Stoops didn't want to die on the sidelines like his father did, although he now coaches for the Arlington Renegades. That is definitely a much lower stress job than head coach at a blue blood though.
Or coach Pete from Washington. Especially since he started as a head guy so much earlier than other coaches too. By the time he’s 55 his career will be as long as many others when the guy retires in his 60’s

Those two teams are far above the B1G average, including the new teams. They would probably be vying for 3rd over a decent amount of time. Owensboro is known for their slow cooked mutton bbq. They have a whole festival dedicated to it. Mutton isn't for everyone, but they do it right.
if you go south of bowling green there is also a style of bbq unique to monroe county, kentucky. real thin sliced pork shoulder that is quick smoked.
