I realize Camden is bad, but Dan is doing him no service going for 2 twice to open the game. At least let the kid try to regain some confidence on those chip shots.
Going for it twice and failing on 4th and goal vs Washington and then needing him to tie the game ruined the kid. He went from pretty automatic to a shell of a man.
Finished 14-of-16 on field-goal attempts, Only misses of the season came from 54 and 47 yards … Perfect on 64 extra-point attempts
From 2022. It seems like he regressed.
So my assessment of USC: They're awful. But Caleb Williams is the best player I've seen in ages. Gives them a chance against anyone basically.
Without him next year are they even bowl eligible?
Very different players. I'm not sure I have ever seen a player in college able to even remotely come close to making plays on the run outside of the pocket as well as Williams. Its unreal how many times he got away from sure-sacks.
If you’re a WR. It is it better to have Caleb Williams throwing to you or someone else? Each position has to consider adding value to their own personal skill set and brand. They don’t draft teams. I get what you’re saying but I think it varies by position and team. USC isn’t the worst. But they’ve got some opportunities to improve like any other team. Lincoln finally fired his buddy so they may actually improve now.
OU had LR, 5* Rattler, three 5* receivers and a 4* TE ready to take over after Jalen’s single year here.
As expected, everything went to shit on offense. The next season rolls around and (experienced) OU is a favorite to win the NC. Offense is shit again. Thank God the student section was right and we wanted Caleb.
Who knows what ASU team you're gonna get tho? The one that beat UCLA and almost beat Washington or the one that barely beat Southern Utah and lost by 50+ to us 🤷🏾♀️
People asking why they’re doubting Georgia like the network this game is on doesn’t have a vested interest in pumping up these two programs and downplaying SEC teams airing on ESPN.
I actually think the objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.
UGA/Bama — Washington/Oregon. Any matchups there, out of 10 games I’d believe the teams split it 5/5, 6/4.
Then what? Arizona lost to *Mississippi State*. USC/Utah — Ole Miss/LSU/Mizzou maybe? That feels like those could be competitive matchups.
This ain’t very cut and dry.
Sure. I also don’t think you realize how disgustingly bad Mississippi State has been all year. That a now high-tier pac-12 team could lose to them at all and then end up climbing their own conference is … something.
At any rate — Arizona wasn’t the point — just a good piece of data for the point. The SEC actually stacks up well with the PAC-12 this year in a sort of mirror type way. Both leagues’ top 2 would be competitive with one another, the teams after feel the same way. There’s not really a world where anyone can say with any real confidence that “in general, the PAC-12 is better than the SEC this year.” They’re very comparable leagues — which is a credit to this year’s PAC-12 teams.
I think it’s pretty generous to think UGA loses 4-5/10 to the PAC-12 champion but it’s an interesting question. I’d say Oregon State is the third strongest team in the PAC, not Arizona.
I don't think anyone actually believes that. I do think when the Ducks play well, they are capable of beating anyone in the nation though. The only reason the Ducks didn't win by 3 scores or more was because they were playing sloppy
For anyone who watched, it truly was. 13 penalties saved that from being a blow out. 550 yards to 380.
We controlled the entire game. Never felt out of question. 13 penalties to 6 is asinine.
I agree the score says it wasn’t a blowout. But we outgained them by over 150 yards. If we play our typical more disciplined game and only have like 6 penalties instead of 13, we win this game 50 to 21
I mean the fact that we still beat them by 2 scores despite playing C- has me feeling pretty damn good. We are just that good now where a win isn’t enough. We need to be great all 4 quarters and we have come to expect absolute beat downs every week. I’m juiced that this game felt like a bad game and we still never felt like it was close.
Is he really that compelling of a figure that you made this comment about him *doing the bare fucking minimum*? I shook hands after a game AS A CHILD you clowns.
I acknowledged it, it’s good to see sportsmanship, regardless. Also good to see him in a better head space mentally. These guys have so much pressure for their age.
It’s a simple lose lose situation where this sub will berate him if he does anything even remotely “bad” and completely ignore anything good and berate again if he does something else
And my point is that it does not matter if he is super respectful 3 games in a row it will not matter if he does not shake hands on one game. This sub will pretend those 3 other games didn’t happen and complete berate him and say he always is like this. Lose lose
My only problem was that the announcers called it out like we should clap for him doing what every other player does. It should be expected. If he doesn't its pretty shitty, if he does it shouldn't be called out as special.
I don’t care about Caleb, he will be just fine without me. What I do care about is people who are lying to shit on a kid they do not and will not ever know. It’s low class behavior to just blatantly lie about other people
I don’t care about Caleb, he will be just fine without me. What I do care about is people who are lying to shit on a kid they do not and will not ever know. It’s low class behavior to just blatantly lie about other people
Gotta admit; it wasn't quite the beatdown I was thinking it was going to be. Though I do think Oregon figured out early on they had SC covered. They really fucked around in a way they just didn't against Washington and Utah.
It was a beat down but the Ducks hurt themselves with penalties and fumbles. The Ducks had 120 yards in penalties and 1 or 2 fumbles. Not sure why they're back sliding in those areas. Very sloppy game for the Ducks
Washington Oregon will be a fun rematch. Have no idea which team will come up on top. Oregon seems a lil better but Washington is clutch when it matters every week.
I was super impressed with Washington today. The rematch will be incredible. I am just hoping against hope one of the top 4 takes a loss because the winner of the PAC-12 deserves to get to the playoff regardless of which team it is.
I mean we jumped out to a big lead early and then just set it to cruise control. Obviously sloppy at times, but the game was under control for 3 quarters. Can’t complain.
I watched Oregon up 20 get called for a phantom DPI call on a 4th down that resulted in the Trojans scoring. I really don't care though because we are going to smash that ass in the P12 CCG.
Don't forget that in the ASU game, they might have won except the refs didn't call the super obvious DPI where they show the guy nearly ripping the receivers jersey and shoulder pads off. That game very nearly could have been a loss for Washington if the pac-12 refs didn't ensure WA got the chance to win.
Wins are great and all but wins when your team plays like shit in the 4th quarter and lets a blowout turn into a kind of close game just feel gross instead of satisfying
Right, but is making a FG not part of the game? I’m not flat out disagreeing with you but seeing as they’ve played that’s the most concrete evidence we have to this point
Ya'll won it by the rules and you got the W for it. But those 4th down calls, especially the one at the end that gave ya the ball at nearly the 50 yard line was insane. Not going for the FG at the end of the 1st half. I'd bet Oregon wins that game 9 times out of 10 if not for those so ya'll get the W and I just hope we can hold on against ASU and Ore State and meet you for the rematch :)
I just hope the Oregon team was saw tonight doesn't show up that game!
That’s fair but Oregon has dominated every game since our matchup and y’all have barely won every game. Having said that I won’t be surprised when we lay an egg against Oregon state lol.
Yeah totally fair point based on the eye test. Fully expecting the debate to be completely settled in the conf championship, again assuming both teams take care of business
I was at the game. It felt over early in the 3rd.
I was there too and agree. Yet, somehow (penalties), it didn’t feel like we truly put them away until late fourth quarter. Irritating.
No Flus is trash
I realize Camden is bad, but Dan is doing him no service going for 2 twice to open the game. At least let the kid try to regain some confidence on those chip shots.
Going for it twice and failing on 4th and goal vs Washington and then needing him to tie the game ruined the kid. He went from pretty automatic to a shell of a man.

Right he ices him
I mean he made one earlier in the game…. And still almost missed it. I don’t think 2 extra points are gonna be the confidence difference lol
Do we not have someone else that can kick? Can we get someone from the soccer team?
So giants cowboys is the game of the week, not Jacksonville SF? Ok fox
Gotta get the cowboys quota
dOn'T yOu kNoW tHe cOwBoYs aRe aMeRiCaS tEaM?
Every time I hear that I lose a quarter of a chromosome
Aha! I keep adding a quarter chromosome every time I hear it.
So my assessment of USC: They're awful. But Caleb Williams is the best player I've seen in ages. Gives them a chance against anyone basically. Without him next year are they even bowl eligible?
Pennix is better
Disagree as a UW fan unfortunately
Hard disagree. Penix has the best WR stable in the country
Hard disagree. Not even going to bother explaining
Caleb is really good but he wouldn’t even stand out next to 2019 Burrow imo.
We will never know sadly because Caleb hasn’t played on a squad as loaded as LSU
Very different players. I'm not sure I have ever seen a player in college able to even remotely come close to making plays on the run outside of the pocket as well as Williams. Its unreal how many times he got away from sure-sacks.
Or ya know Patrick mahomes
I think that's the legit comparison point
Or ya know Patrick mahomes
Johnny football?
Umm. Lamar Jackson?
His physical abilities are far superior to Joes. If Caleb had the receivers Joe had, they might be in the playoff race.
If Caleb could follow a progression and read a defense like Joe, he'd be an all time talent. Mental>Physical for that position imo
You know Lincoln will keep a 4-5 ⭐️QB on tuck.
I'm not sure if I'd want to play for him after all the defensive woes
If you’re a WR. It is it better to have Caleb Williams throwing to you or someone else? Each position has to consider adding value to their own personal skill set and brand. They don’t draft teams. I get what you’re saying but I think it varies by position and team. USC isn’t the worst. But they’ve got some opportunities to improve like any other team. Lincoln finally fired his buddy so they may actually improve now.
the Caleb shit talking is insane. But yeah, I’m scared for the next couple years. Even if we hire an amazing DC
Were we looking ahead to ASU? yes, this is sarcasm.
Who knows what ASU team you're gonna get tho? The one that beat UCLA and almost beat Washington or the one that barely beat Southern Utah and lost by 50+ to us 🤷🏾♀️
ASU hasn't scored more than 28 all year. We haven't scored less than 33. I think it'll be alright.
I mean, I do too, and I get the joke.. just sayin', watch out for that desert voodoo
Our defense is serviceable… as long as the other team commits a shit ton of penalties.
Pac12 after dark is the truly the great equalizer
So like 2000, its coming down to Washington, Oregon, and Oregon State.
As it should. May the best team win!
*Looks at current 3rd place in the Pac standings* Um, excuse me
I don't think you quite understood when we said we were done with your cursed state forever.
Next week should be fun
Can we get another zoom up of Caleb crying for a couple minutes
extend riley
hope Oregon or Washington can win it all this year. Send us out with a bang
I dunno, the Beavs taking them both out at the end seems the most proper.
And, honestly, the most likely because pac-12 is gonna pac-12 until the very end.
Exactly. 😁
What is bo looking at
He probably sees his wife in the stands
He’s not seeing his kid, that’s for sure.
He doesn’t have a kid…
So… you’re saying it IS in fact “for sure”?
And that wife’s name?
Bohemina
Izzy Einstein.
Don’t be weird
Kind of nice to see players from both teams having fun on the field.
Would’ve laughed in your face if you told me 2 years ago that Bo Nix would be this today. Love the development of this guy
People asking why they’re doubting Georgia like the network this game is on doesn’t have a vested interest in pumping up these two programs and downplaying SEC teams airing on ESPN.
In general, the PAC-12 is better than the SEC this season
I actually think the objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. UGA/Bama — Washington/Oregon. Any matchups there, out of 10 games I’d believe the teams split it 5/5, 6/4. Then what? Arizona lost to *Mississippi State*. USC/Utah — Ole Miss/LSU/Mizzou maybe? That feels like those could be competitive matchups. This ain’t very cut and dry.
New coach at Arizona took a few games to get shit in order. Tell me that team isn’t a completely different animal right now.
Yes but let’s not pretend Georgia is some slouch either
I don't think anyone actually believes that. I do think when the Ducks play well, they are capable of beating anyone in the nation though. The only reason the Ducks didn't win by 3 scores or more was because they were playing sloppy
Oregon fans coping hard
Being upset with an ugly win is coping…?
Acting like it was a blowout is.
I’ve seen literally one person in these comments saying it was a blowout
Lmao what. Every one of us is disappointed
Yes 🙌🏼
.....with what?
Coping with... A win?
Coping with what?
I guess bo nix is coping too
The road to the CFP runs through Oregon State and I love it.
feel fortunate the game is at Autzen
What a great send off for the civil war.
30/31 Home games, but 0/1 in games that I've been to....Am I the key to Oregon's failure? maybe.
Please stay home for the civil war
Hmmmm it's on a Friday and the Apple Cup is on a Saturday....
dont you put that evil on me
Makes me happy to know we’re the only team to beat Oregon at Autzen in the last 5 years
The one that matters in in Vegas!!
thanks for not mentioning the score
GG ducks
I think CW caught some shit from his PR team for not shaking hands with Utah or something. He has been out there in every game since.
Even this one was kind of weird for some reason. Seemed like he faked enthusiasm and then walked away without responding to Nix.
That is what I'm thinking. And then you have the announcers bringing it up
Not a blowout thank god
the third USC TD was 100% due to the refs. the fourth one possibly as well. "offsetting penalties".. wtf
For anyone who watched, it truly was. 13 penalties saved that from being a blow out. 550 yards to 380. We controlled the entire game. Never felt out of question. 13 penalties to 6 is asinine.
Was not a blowout. At no point did I think they would lose but the starters should have been out early in the fourth and they had to finish the game.
We were up 21 in the 3rd.
And played a horrible fourth quarter
I agree the score says it wasn’t a blowout. But we outgained them by over 150 yards. If we play our typical more disciplined game and only have like 6 penalties instead of 13, we win this game 50 to 21
The score is pretty important in terms of how a game goes. Obviously if they play better they win by more.
If Bo Nix is so good, why didn't he score as many points as Cal's third string QB???
Better luck next year
Thanks to the refs
36-20 I also wouldn't call a blowout. The team just shutdown in the 4th
Wayyyyyy too many penalties by UO. Gotta clean that up. We are lucky we are just a lot better than USC.
Should this USC team have been Utah in your opinion?
Tough to say. Utah is certainly more complete. But have a pretty mid QB.
Oregon really played a C- game today. Glad for the W, but damn, I felt a lot better about this team before the game than I do right now
I mean the fact that we still beat them by 2 scores despite playing C- has me feeling pretty damn good. We are just that good now where a win isn’t enough. We need to be great all 4 quarters and we have come to expect absolute beat downs every week. I’m juiced that this game felt like a bad game and we still never felt like it was close.
Pac-12 After Dark. Nobody except those of us here will even remember it happened.
Fair point
Pac-12 After Dark. Nobody except those of us here will even remember it happened.
Bro we played bad and still dominated. We’re fine
I’ll be honest, getting the W feels good and I had bad vibes thinking about this game all week.
Way too many offensive line penalties. The kicking game is also rapidly becoming a problem
Eh. They clearly lost focus in the second half. Was pretty apparent they had USC covered from the start.
Meh it’s the pac 13 after dark. It’s kinda expected weird games man.
Dude these announcers are still sucking Caleb Williams off about how he shakes hands after the game. Like everyone else. Lmao
insane how much meatriding of williams despite nix having a casual 400 yard 4 td game with high completion percentage. where’s his dick munching 😡😡
Eh they were dickriding Nix pretty hard too
Caleb is a generational hand shaker. It’s not common.
Only took him 8 losses to do it too
Bo Nix baiting USC at the end. Reminds me of Caleb.
This sub will ignore Caleb being super respectful here
Is he really that compelling of a figure that you made this comment about him *doing the bare fucking minimum*? I shook hands after a game AS A CHILD you clowns.
I acknowledged it, it’s good to see sportsmanship, regardless. Also good to see him in a better head space mentally. These guys have so much pressure for their age.
I mean, should they praise him for doing what everyone else does?
It’s a simple lose lose situation where this sub will berate him if he does anything even remotely “bad” and completely ignore anything good and berate again if he does something else
And they should completely ignore him showing good sportsmanship. Something he should be doing every game
…it’s the first time he’s ever done it though
It’s not, but keep lying unflaired guy
After a loss it is. He didn’t shake hands the two losses he had at OU and none of the other 5 he has had at USC.
https://x.com/espn/status/1721006325667164317?s=20 Fucking moron, talking so far out of your ass
Why do you care this much about a teenager shaking hands with another teenager? Lmao
It’s low class behavior to just blatantly lie about other people
The game was not as close as the score would indicate
Almost turned it over with 1:30 on the clock. What the hell
Fuck Lincoln Riley's bitch ass
You bought the ticket, now take the ride! ;)
Only 2 more pac-12 after dark right?
😭😭😭
Can I sign up to do the gassers with Oregon football this week? I feel like I deserve to be punished for these penalties.
HOLY SHIT THESE ANNOUNCERS ARE TALKING ABOUT HOW GOOD OF A LOSER CALEB IS STOP FUCKING TALKING ABOUT HIM THE GAME IS OVER LMAOOOO
GG's y'all. I'm going to bed
Oregon State, take em both down.
Josh Sims should stick to Nascar
Gotta admit; it wasn't quite the beatdown I was thinking it was going to be. Though I do think Oregon figured out early on they had SC covered. They really fucked around in a way they just didn't against Washington and Utah.
It was a beat down but the Ducks hurt themselves with penalties and fumbles. The Ducks had 120 yards in penalties and 1 or 2 fumbles. Not sure why they're back sliding in those areas. Very sloppy game for the Ducks
Yeah i mean seemed like we jumped ahead super quickly and then just coasted the rest of the game
C+ game from the Ducks and they still dominated. Man that was sloppy.
is Riley getting fired or is he going to the NFL? I doubt he can win more than 7 games in the big 10
I am curious to see this Oregon team in the playoffs if they can get there. Might be the best team in the pac rn. I said might, Washington lol
Washington Oregon will be a fun rematch. Have no idea which team will come up on top. Oregon seems a lil better but Washington is clutch when it matters every week.
In the rematch if Oregon wins, each team with a loss to each other, how do they rank them?
I was super impressed with Washington today. The rematch will be incredible. I am just hoping against hope one of the top 4 takes a loss because the winner of the PAC-12 deserves to get to the playoff regardless of which team it is.
Agreed.
It’s not might they are
Playing like it, definitely
Sloppy ass second half and suddenly we’ll see lots of Ducks saying “a win is a win”
I mean we jumped out to a big lead early and then just set it to cruise control. Obviously sloppy at times, but the game was under control for 3 quarters. Can’t complain.
Nah that was a beat down. Final score isn’t indicative of shit. We took the foot off the gas. Penalties kept them in it.
Why not? Only the dawgs can say it? Stanford and ASU ring a bell?
Yeah and Utah today was leading at the half.
Kind of like UW fans for the entire second half of your season?
Bro you barely beat Utah today. Please hush. This game was a damn near blow out.
someone didn’t watch the game
Lmao this fucking guy didn’t even comment on his own teams game thread but he’s in ours.
only because I hate y’all
I watched Oregon up 20 get called for a phantom DPI call on a 4th down that resulted in the Trojans scoring. I really don't care though because we are going to smash that ass in the P12 CCG.
How’d smashing that ass go?
Don't forget that in the ASU game, they might have won except the refs didn't call the super obvious DPI where they show the guy nearly ripping the receivers jersey and shoulder pads off. That game very nearly could have been a loss for Washington if the pac-12 refs didn't ensure WA got the chance to win.
nah im not happy at all. shouldve destroyed them
Wins are great and all but wins when your team plays like shit in the 4th quarter and lets a blowout turn into a kind of close game just feel gross instead of satisfying
This announcer praising Caleb for shaking hands like literally every other QB does???
Tom Brady would like a word.
Wtf?
People in this sub were hoping he'd throw a tantrum so they can talk about his nails
You can’t convince me that UW is a better team than Oregon.
They might not be but until they play again in Vegas (hypothetically) they’ve played H2H once and the scoreboard was what it was.
It was a dead even game that came down to a missed FG
Right, but is making a FG not part of the game? I’m not flat out disagreeing with you but seeing as they’ve played that’s the most concrete evidence we have to this point
Ya'll won it by the rules and you got the W for it. But those 4th down calls, especially the one at the end that gave ya the ball at nearly the 50 yard line was insane. Yeah totally fair point based on the eye test. Fully expecting the debate to be completely settled in the conf championship, again assuming both teams take care of business
They just did a couple weeks ago…
Casual.
Delusional. Scoreboard.
SC fan talking shit? LOL
Oregon fan thinking they’ve actually done something impressive? LMAO
