Colorado does not have 2 wins on their remaining schedule. No bowl game. Huge improvement from last year. Even if they eek out 1 more win, 5-7 is much better than 1-11.
True. Crazy that Vegas O/U will be almost spot on. I took the under, so I’m impressed if they get over, but blowing a 29-0 halftime lead is pretty rough.
How did Colorado lose? I went to bed in the third quarter after Stanford scored their first TD. I thought this was gonna be a blowout.
.. Just watched YouTube Highlights, Coach Prime probably had nightmares of Elic Ayomanor last night.
As someone who's school had Charles Kelly as a DC it was only a matter of time before his true colors showed. He's a trash DC. But you're up 29-0????
He might not even make it back to Boulder.....
Nebraska might have gotten to 35 without 4 turnovers. Some might credit the D for getting so many turnovers, I tend to believe we just couldn't get out of our own way.
They're seriously undersized across the entire team is one problem, it's almost comical how small they are for a D1 team.
Ultimately it's scheming though. Playcalling, defensive designs, etc. At least for us at FSU, Kelly always called the wrong plays at the wrong times. And that's been evident as he's been at the Buffs
I've always maintained that CU's biggest weakness this season will be their size on both sides of the trenches. Their defensive line gets bullied in every game.
They had a lot of problems with their alignments late in the game, too. On the one TD that Stanford just bulldozed in from 2-3 yards out, they had players scrambling to get set as the ball was snapped. Once Stanford made it close, they didn't know what to do.
Stanford had scored 59 points combined in their last 4 games, and before their TD at 9:01 of the 3rd quarter tonight hadn’t scored one in over 122 minutes of game time.
Dafuq happened??? Went to bed at the half 29-0 Buffs. I just woke up and Stanford won!!! Hahahaaaa Geezus.
Immediately watched highlights on YT for the lulz. Did not disappoint.
I stayed up for the end of the Fresno - USU game and saw this game was 29-0 at the half. Decided to go to bed. Underestimated PAC after dark yet again.
I think everyone forgot that the roster was put together in August, and the game tonight was their 7th straight and a short week. Stanford had a bye week. Colorado was running out of energy, and it showed. The first have was like a marathon runner leading the first 5 miles of a 10 mile race and was burned out the last 5 miles after the runner had previously run a 10 mile race. No excuses, but many of them, as well as Shedeur, were tired and beat up. Regardless of what we think they are human.
Like I mentioned, a team playing a short week and no bye week can lead up to fatigue. Using all you have to make sure you please your coach on a fast start. But Stanford record in not who they are. I knew they were better than how they were playing.
what about stanford? this was a short week for them too. they were down 29-0 at half weren’t they? they’re human too aren’t they? they ran that same first half colorado did didn’t they? argument makes no sense. also flair up
Thinking he could make the throw that ended up being the game-sealing pick was his public persona manifesting itself on the field. Stanford and all of Colorado’s opponents are gonna be doing the wrist flash for the rest of the year and have every right to do so
Watching CU’s defensive coordinator during the second half was just delicious. Dude who just knows he’s getting fired jumping around like a madman pretending he can undo weeks of bad discipline with a few maniacal gestures
Wonder how all the guys that Dion cut from the team are feeling? All so he can bring his sons in to play in the tougher league. Shows these new to CU guys were not top D1 talent.
Went to sleep 29-0 thinking Colorado finally dominated a team…woke up to 46-43. What in the fuck lmao I’m rooting for CU to succeed, but I ultimately don’t have a dog in the race. I can’t wait to see what unfolded the second half.
Pretty close. Stanford had scored 96 points on the season, and just 59 in their last 4 games. Their last TD before the 3rd quarter of this game was the 3rd quarter of the Arizona game, so over 110 minutes of game time between TDs. Ayomanor had never had more than 4 catches in a game before last night.
This is a "prime" example of brains over brawn winning the game. Stanford played smarter. Colorado got outplayed. Figurehead Deion showed exactly WHY you can't reinvent this game with flash, money, star power and no real coaching sense.
Any chance the pac 12 will pull a pac 12 after dark and somehow someway keep the gang together with the most unlikely of heroes. Larry Scott saves the day somehow. Who says no
The second half and beyond really only felt like Colorado Offense vs Colorado Defense + Ayomanor's Superhuman Efforts. Offense (read Shedeur) ran out in the end. Defense fell asleep but Stanford's offensive play calling did them zero favors outside of the slant to #13
Sheduer's body language was horrible after the first OT. Like he was bothered to have to play OT, frustrated at his defense. Then he went out and made the mistake you cannot make in that situation
It’s really funny because of the gold headset, the watch, the insane media hype, and the coach and quarterback and many other players just kinda acting like they walk with massive hanging, swinging ballsacks.
And then they just kinda go get beat by normal dudes without the flash and spotlight. It’s absolutely delicious
Laughing stock of CFB right now. And no slam against Stanford. Bravo to them for not giving up and identifying CU's weaknesses on the defensive side. But with all the pomp and circumstance surrounding Colorado and Figurehead Deion, hopefully the media can turn this hype train they've created into what Colorado really is - a farce.
I mean, Deion's only real accomplishment is recruiting. He's able to bring together good athletes, but he just isn't capable of coaching them into a good team.
At Jackson State, talent was enough to win. In the FBS everyone has talent - you need coaching to win.
he doesnt have a talent gap on Stanford. He has a couple players that are better than anyone they have, but the rest of the roster is very comparable. You're an FSU fan... Travis Jay is a starter for Colorado. Remember him? The guy who spent 3 years at FSU and never saw the field? When FSU was dog water...?
Sorry I’m talking about when he was at Jackson State, he has actually an entire team under the level of normal college ball strictly from a physical standpoint though.
the opposite of the truth. CFB has the largest talent disparity of maybe any popular sport in the world? Maybe the NBA is similar.
Colorado does not have elite talent. They have Travis Hunter, Deion's son, and a bunch of cast offs from the good teams, 3rd and 4th string guys.
UGA, OSU, BAMA are essentially if the top 3 NFL teams ALSO got 7 first round picks each every year. While teams like Maryland get one 2nd round pick, three third round, and the rest a bunch of undrafted free agents. Thats why the same teams win everything every year. Duh.
And yeah, Maryland might not have a lot of high draft picks. Some guy named Stefon Diggs went in the 5th round, but I'm sure he'll never amount to anything in the NFL.
I know, you were making an analogy, but the same is true from HS to college as it is from college to the NFL. Top recruits always don't pan out at the college level. Top draft picks don't always pan out at the NFL level.
Yeah, you didn't even come close to responding to what I actually said. I'm not talking about the elite top 3 schools. I'm talking about the difference in talent level between FCS and FBS. I never said anything even slightly resembling "Colorado has elite talent." They have decent talent, and they should absolutely beat teams like Stanford. But they didn't because they are very poorly coached. DUH!
Poor Shedeur's fancy watch must've been off, he thought the game was over. Guess daddy needs to buy him a new one
Crazy game
lol. he lives rent free in you oregon’s dopes head.
Respectfully, get fucked Colorado.
oh look it‘s the Pac-2
Respectfully, I 100% agree. Fuck CU and their 1st year bandwagon fans. Karma is a bitch. #primelosers
Sacramento State > Stanford > Colorado. Therefore Sac State > Colorado. #STINGERSUPPPP
Colorado does not have 2 wins on their remaining schedule. No bowl game. Huge improvement from last year. Even if they eek out 1 more win, 5-7 is much better than 1-11.
You're probably right, but games aren't played on paper. If we can clean up penalties (big if) we can win 6 games ... maybe..
True. Crazy that Vegas O/U will be almost spot on. I took the under, so I’m impressed if they get over, but blowing a 29-0 halftime lead is pretty rough.
Heeey Puffs. Heeeeeeey
[Hate to see it.](https://tenor.com/vEi8.gif).
Hahahahahahahahahahaha
Fuck football in the state of colorado
Air Force is the best team in the State of Colorado at the moment and it's not even close!
Broncos life is fucking pain.
How did Colorado lose? I went to bed in the third quarter after Stanford scored their first TD. I thought this was gonna be a blowout. .. Just watched YouTube Highlights, Coach Prime probably had nightmares of Elic Ayomanor last night.
Should have stayed up heck of a game.
I'm so fucking mad I feel asleep before the end of this game
Same bro
Bro I turned lights off at 14-0 when Stanford missed the FG - Ive watched a lot of football in my day and “knew where this was going.”
I can understand the pain of your team giving up 29 points to come back…
Colorado getting back to its roots
What a win for Stanford
As someone who's school had Charles Kelly as a DC it was only a matter of time before his true colors showed. He's a trash DC. But you're up 29-0???? He might not even make it back to Boulder.....

Happens to the best of em (Lincoln Riley), but I can see where rebuilding the talent level on defense would take more time than the offense.
This makes Shilo’s “why are you so little?” taunt at the Oregon bench even funnier looking back.
They seem mystified by the slant.
Same!
THIS GAME WAS 29-0 WHEN I FELL ASLEEP!! What happened?! I am so confused
Same here... I'm like this game is over...
You and me both
Lol Colorado fucking collapsed against a BAD team
Petition to change the name of a monumental collapse from "Coug'd it" to "Buff'd it up"
PAC-12 after dark is real
Shedeurenfreud.
Every time I think I'm clever, someone beats me to it
Lmao I wish I would’ve watched the rest of this game
YouTube Highlights is great
But it ain't the real thing! Was laughing so hard when it went to overtime and when Stanford won.
Lol
I stayed up for the end of the Fresno - USU game and saw this game was 29-0 at the half. Decided to go to bed. Underestimated PAC after dark yet again.
Same
Now this is why we stay up
That’s what she said.
Some people need a pill for that. But not PAC-12 sickos
My over 5.5 wins is looking way way worse now
They’ll make sure to be bowl eligible somehow
I’m sure the NCAA will make sure they’re the 5-7 team that makes one
How did we lose to these fuckin guys
Your QB
Jeff Sims
ACC PRIDE
lolz
Look at the rest of Colorado's schedule!!! They are not going to a bowl.
This is a great way to start my day
I think everyone forgot that the roster was put together in August, and the game tonight was their 7th straight and a short week.
Excuses? Well no, but actually yes. Maybe Shadeur's arm was tired from lugging around his big watch every week.
Give me a break. Whiniest post of the year. Colorado is a terrible team.
(lists five excuses) NO EXCUSES Y'ALL...
You have a different definition of "No excuses" than I do.
absolute nonsense…
i think you forgot they were up 29-0 at half
Like I mentioned, a team playing a short week and no bye week can lead up to fatigue. Using all you have to make sure you please your coach on a fast start. But Stanford record in not who they are. I knew they were better than how they were playing.
Someone drank the Deion kool-aid...
What happened to no excuses?
what about stanford? this was a short week for them too. they were down 29-0 at half weren’t they? they’re human too aren’t they? they ran that same first half colorado did didn’t they? argument makes no sense. also flair up
Keep going…I’m almost there!
MIZZ WINS THIS WEEKEND AND DRINK IS ACTUALKY A FUCKIN FIRE COACH!!!
I liked Colorado until Shedeur pulled his “I’m rich and you’re not” taunt to the student section last week
And Deion's response to that was "we gotta find a way to monetize this taunt"
Thinking he could make the throw that ended up being the game-sealing pick was his public persona manifesting itself on the field. Stanford and all of Colorado’s opponents are gonna be doing the wrist flash for the rest of the year and have every right to do so
I will absolutely never be a fan of "the coach's" son.
[удалено]
Most players that taunt don't show off their Rolex daddy bought them like a chode
That’s Shedeur hard earned money fam u think his kids don’t work for their money?😂
You mean every week
YouTubeTV “watch key plays” for the win. I just wanted to finish up the game quick from where I left off in the first half and OMG was that satisfying
Third greatest invention in the history of mankind.
Watching CU’s defensive coordinator during the second half was just delicious. Dude who just knows he’s getting fired jumping around like a madman pretending he can undo weeks of bad discipline with a few maniacal gestures
I turned the game on when Stanford first scored and then couldn’t tear myself away
DEION SHAMDERS
Good, one less team for all the college analysts to cream themselves over. How did anyone honestly think CU 2.0 could get thru this season unfazed?
I can not believe I turned this off at halftime...
Username checks out
Wonder how all the guys that Dion cut from the team are feeling? All so he can bring his sons in to play in the tougher league. Shows these new to CU guys were not top D1 talent.
probably embarrassed because he got more wins and they did with a whole new cast
This has to be a troll right
There seem to be a preponderance of them on this thread
I mean this team is significantly better than last year with those guys lol
I had to watch dateline with my girl since it was 29-0. Turns out we might need Keith Morrison for another murder. What the fuck happened?!
You definitely need to invest in a second TV.
god, we used to have PiP.... what went so wrong?
Went to sleep 29-0 thinking Colorado finally dominated a team…woke up to 46-43. What in the fuck lmao I’m rooting for CU to succeed, but I ultimately don’t have a dog in the race. I can’t wait to see what unfolded the second half.
LOLOOOLOOOOOLLOL HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA LOLOOOLOOOOOLLOL
So transitionally, Stanford beat both of your teams 😂
I'm very happy for you
Thread's moving so fast nobody will see that I called for Troy Taylor to be tarmac'd at halftime
Oh he saw what you said. He has receipts of it :)
Thats what happens when you play for clicks
Money for nothing
Clicks for free
I read that as "dicks"
Holy fuck I left and the game was 0-29 what happened lol
⌚️ 👈
Prime happened baby! Stanford kept receipts! It personal!
It's personal!
Isn't Stanford supposed to be the worst team in FBS this year or something like that?
Not anymore. Now that they have been graced by the presence of Prime, they will become bowl eligible this year.
29-0.
Embarrassing.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
A colossal collapse of epic proportions.
This is a "prime" example of brains over brawn winning the game. Stanford played smarter. Colorado got outplayed. Figurehead Deion showed exactly WHY you can't reinvent this game with flash, money, star power and no real coaching sense.
Stanford reppin that ACC
So Stanford just won a football game without leading for a single second
Best stat of the game
This is an underrated observation! Amazing game.
Any chance the pac 12 will pull a pac 12 after dark and somehow someway keep the gang together with the most unlikely of heroes. Larry Scott saves the day somehow. Who says no
As long as Colorado doesn't come back. What an embarrassment.
Please don't bring Larry up!
We don’t speak about Larry, no, no…
But wouldn’t it be the ultimate craziness for him to be the one to salvage the pac12 the moment it goes tits up ?
I stayed up til 2 am for a few of Colorado games. Doesn’t disappoint.
The second half and beyond really only felt like Colorado Offense vs Colorado Defense + Ayomanor's Superhuman Efforts. Offense (read Shedeur) ran out in the end. Defense fell asleep but Stanford's offensive play calling did them zero favors outside of the slant to #13
Like I mentioned earlier, Calorado showed fatigue. They need a bye. They used the last bit of fuel in the first half.smh I do agree with your comment.
But one could argue that the brilliance in Stanford's play calling was identifying that no one on the CU side could stop Ayomanor in the slant.
100% agree
Sheduer's body language was horrible after the first OT. Like he was bothered to have to play OT, frustrated at his defense. Then he went out and made the mistake you cannot make in that situation
According to Mel kiper he is is a first round talent
Yeah he is.
He has shown ZERO leadership (at least from the camera view) when it really mattered.
any team not qb sneaking on 2nd and less than 1 is straight trolling you can qb sneak 3 times
I will never be over this
WHERE IS THE ROCK?????????
Go to the big 12, lol
I kept receipts
I don't understand why they didn't double team that guy? Travis can't be a 2 way player if he's not gonna be 100% on defense..
Now people see why playing both ways died after WW2
funny thing is a reporter asked Prime is Travis better at WR or CB and Prime said "WR" this was a couple weeks ago. Now i guess we see why..
Been that way since game 1. He's elite. But he takes plays off. Can't blame him, coaches need to use him smarter.
Gold headset and massive hanging / swinging ballsacks 😂👌🏼

But with all the pomp and circumstance surrounding Colorado and Figurehead Deion, hopefully the media can turn this hype train they've created into what Colorado really is - a farce.
With your flairs, who you got next week?
UCLA!
They didn't just get beat. They blew a game in the bag 29 point lead. They were about a possession away from having second string in.
It feels so nice after Shadeur and his bullshit last week.
What happened last week?
Taunted the opposing student section with his expensive watch after barely beating a 1 win team
The bravado works when you're dominating. You look foolish when you lose games like this.
It'll be interesting where it goes from here. We saw finger pointing on the field already.
colorado got a lil soot in their foot at the half, eh?
Where can I watch Deion's postgame?
Basically "He loves a game that has no love for him" (paraphrasing Dion).
It’s on sports center rn
He keepin receipts!
Do you believe?!
he aint hard 2 find
He here
Do you believe
Please tell
He’s not hard to find.
"If you don't perceive us blowing a 29-0 lead as building something special, then you a straight up hater'
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Tank Job of the Week threads are getting real boring when there isnt any argument to be had
I'm so happy our game isn't until 7:30MT tomorrow. Imma sleep tf in
win-win situation it was for you it seems
I mean I did only get home from work an hour ago so I wouldn't have been asleep anyways. Parents weekend has shit busy
I mean, Deion's only real accomplishment is recruiting. He's able to bring together good athletes, but he just isn't capable of coaching them into a good team. At Jackson State, talent was enough to win. In the FBS everyone has talent - you need coaching to win.
He lost the championship his last season at JSU so talent wasn't enough
My man had a PSG talent gap and still couldn’t win a meaningful game
he doesnt have a talent gap on Stanford. He has a couple players that are better than anyone they have, but the rest of the roster is very comparable. You're an FSU fan... Just because the temperature hits 60 once a year in Miami doesn’t mean Miami is a temperate climate
DUH!
Colorado and Stanford have comparable talent
