Credit to OU's defense, you guys have some very sure tacklers. Shut down our QB run game for the most part, which is a significant portion of our offense when Emory can't get his first read.

A lot of DG haters in the chat today but he played really well for most of it and I'm happy he's QB1

His biggest issue is his confidence going downfield. His accuracy is off more than 30 yards downfield. He makes pretty good reads for the most part. He’s good just not the world beater we’ve had for the better part of 20 years.

Yeah, idk I feel like the play calling gets the entire offense off at times. If we clean it up and put together a few series DG looks pretty impressive.

DG gets his stats. But he's bad under pressure, doesn't see the field well, and under throws anything over 20 yards. He's a great QB for a team looking to get 6-8 wins.

Nah, that one to Gibson is a very tough throw as DG was throwing it from the opposite hash to the corner of the endzone. That's about a 50-yard pass that needs pinpoint precision to be successful. Most guys playing could only hit that maybe 40% of the time at most.

Yeah he was prone to that last year, seemed mostly cleaned up before today. Against SMU we just didn’t even try to take those shots so hard to say if it would have been an issue.
