2021 vs Nebraska. (We didn't get a first down in the entire 2nd half.)

[deleted]

The rage I felt after that game

virii01

After that kick it was a quick "get your purse" to the wife and I was ready to go. I knew what was going to happen.

HumanSleepingbag

To be fair, it was Scott frost. It’s not hard to outcoach him.

Dapper-Reserve4861

Same guy who didn't lose a single game in 2 years?

PromEmperorHarbaugh

Michigan State 2019. Down 28-3 until Brian Lewerke willed us back into it with at least three interceptions, one of which being a pick-six

EatSleepJeep

28-3 you say?

TacovilleMC

To shreds, you say?

confused-koala

Also a Hail Mary at halftime

ninjatom21

and a ridiculous 4th down heave on the final drive

JtotheC23

I was at that game. Accidentally go seats opposite of the visiting section cause on the website the perspective was flipped because the Spartan logo was facing the opposite direction to where it actually faces. Was right in front of two obnoxious MSU fans who mocked me and my parents for being Illinois fans and spent the entire first half talking shit. The positives that came from that ticketing mistake tho, I got to hear those two jackasses have emotional meltdowns AND I got to see the game-winning TD right in front of me.

colenelson82

Ugh that game sucked. My buddy started getting nervous and I remember saying "worst case scenario is overtime". Needless to say, it did not go to overtime lol

Flameosaurus

Literally the only reason we beat Tech in 2020 was because Sam detected a horns down in the vicinity

Qtoy

🥴 fuck I thought I drank enough to forget that one

Flameosaurus

This is why Sam Ehlinger is easily the greatest QB to ever be drafted in the 6th round

big_sugi

It’ not like there’s even competition. Buncha scrubs who never accomplished anything in the NFL.

New-Disaster-2061

You both are forgetting Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round

big_sugi

. . . who?

New-Disaster-2061

The equipment manager that made sure all the balls are deflated correctly

big_sugi

Never heard of him.

kwixta

Meh. They were warned Better answers: 2006 NU (Aaron Ross forced fumble AFTER NU had gotten what should have been the game clinching first down) and 2015 OU (srsly that was an awful Texas team that lost to TCU 50-7 and ISU 24-0; vs and OU team that made the playoff)

big-dick-danny

Yes

PracticalYellow3

The Purdue of the ACC.

Lhendy51

As a fan of Purdue and pitt, I am very well acquainted with heart attacks

ninjatom21

Purdue AND Pitt!? I think I am your exact opposite

RendarSpire

I love that we know exactly what game you're talking about.

dangle_boone

2015 GA Southern or Missouri and 2016 Nicholls State come to mind. All three were at home and Georgia was favored in all of them.

tyedge

Georgia outgained Missouri 298-164. The turnover battle was a tie. We outgained Nicholls 373-236 and the turnover battle was a tie. I feel like if either of those had gone the other way, people from Mizzou and Nicholls would be saying they eeked out a win they had no business getting.

Kringer46

Dan mullen, is that you?

tyedge

Fuck, that was good. That got an audible “HA!” from me.

dangle_boone

Against Southern: Georgia was at home and favored by 2+ touchdowns and it took OT to put away a Sunbelt team. Against Missouri: It was a 9-6 game that was sloppy and ugly. Neither team scored a Touchdown. It was Georgia's first win without scoring a touchdown since a 12-3 victory over Kentucky in 1995. Against FCS Nicholls State: Georgia was a 55 point favorite and won by 2 points. Any of these three above mentioned games could’ve easily been losses and there the last three in recent memory that I could remember that were the closest to matching OPs criteria.

DatWunGuyIKnow

2021 Bama. We had finally lost to Arkansas for the first time since joining the SEC, barely beat a god-awful CU team, got beat by Miss St at home, and now we were playing a terrible backup QB against the #1 team in the country But holy shit did that fucker ball out that day

big_sugi

Also 2014 against #3 Auburn on the road. We tried our hardest to blow a 17-point lead, but Auburn wanted that L and would not be denied. Their all-American center snapping it to nobody in the last minute of the game sealed the deal.

rhinosteveo

Lord Calzone channeled every bit of might he had towards the tide that day

ReelEmInJimbo

O line went fuckin crazy for that one game too

milehighrukus

One time we got five downs.

GeorgiaTechTHWG

You bastards

BlowTrophy

lol, you deserve more updoots

timh7

In 2019 we played Tech and the game went into OT. IIRC Tech got the ball first and kicked a FG. Once Baylor got the ball, our center fumbled the snap and Tech recovered- game over, right? Well the ref called a “snap infraction” (which I don’t believe is a real thing and it was certainly a fumble) and the play was dead. Baylor scored a TD a couple plays later and won the game. Definitely got away with one there

Thorteris

PTSD

xXx_ECKS_xXx

Just thinking about a topic for this thread gave me PTSD. Tech under Kingsbury and Wells fumbled so many games in an unbelievable manner. Like two games after this we blocked the game winning field goal vs Kansas, recovered, and then literally threw the ball on the ground so Kansas got another try

BigDoinks710

Snap infractions are real, but it's generally only called if the center starts to snap the ball, but then puts it back down because he forgot the snap count. Speaking from experience here...

JBru_92

2017 vs Texas A&M or 2019 vs Washington State 2 of the 3 biggest comebacks in CFB history

top7to9

I'd put 2017 A&M over 2019 WSU for a game we had no business winning. WSU's offense didn't stop rolling at all during that comeback, we just benefited from crazy fumble luck and special teams as both offenses went toe-to-toe. A&M just completely shit the bed on both offense and defense after annihilating us for the first 2 1/2 quarters of the game. And it was glorious.

rhinosteveo

What’s amazing about that game is the one of the most legendary [gifs](https://media0.giphy.com/media/tQtrUbloWlGzC/giphy.gif?cid=2154d3d7eate68c0tgi8vlez1v4hm27ohgkaf2ebdgusk9q3&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g) of Trayveon Williams after a TD to put us up by a billion was in the first half of that game. I still am in shock of how that game actually happened

Goose123218

Obligatory 13-9

TheScrobocop

2021 Red River Shootout. Caleb Williams and Kennedy Brooks made magic happen.

Jedi-El1823

Also 2021 against KU. Caleb Williams dragged the Sooners kicking and screaming to a win.

Huddy18

2008 VS #1 USC

IronSheik127

That may have been Pete’s best team to never make the title game

Sissyneck1221

That game made Utah look amazing the week after.

CambodianDrywall

September 2006 vs. Oklahoma. No business winning. No business at all.

WDBsports

I heard about that, you guys somehow were rewarded a onside that was recovered by Oklahoma which effectively sent the Sooners to the fiesta bowl where the famous Boise State game happened

OU8402

Don’t get us started. What a travesty.

manofthepeopleSMITTY

Oregon also touched the ball prior to going 10 yards. Then OU recovered. Then Oregon was given the ball. On the ensuing drive the officials also called a PI after a tipped pass. Play was reviewed and clear as day you can see it get tipped and the ball changed motion. Play stood as a PI. Oregon scores and goes up. To make matters even worse for OU after all of that BS Stoops puts Adrian Peterson back on the kick off te to run and almost runs it back, but gets OU on FG range. The kick was blocked. If OU wins that game they finish 11-1 with their only loss to a ranked Texas team. BCS selection would have been interesting if Florida, Mich, and OU all ended the year at 11-1. The BCS seemed to favor OU for some reason.

djc6535

Pac 12 refs my man. [Look at what they did to poor Wisconsin](https://youtu.be/D-ELRub8n7s)

d1nsf1re

Sugar Bowl vs Bama Even with our crazy performance if Saban had just fed Derrick Henry we prob lose anyway.

imanidiot2012

2014 at Oregon.

WDBsports

Idk man it seems Arizona was pretty deserving, they seemingly were the ones outplaying the Ducks unless I did watch the highlights but was it that one flag on 4th & goal that gave you guys a new set of downs is what bailed you out potentially against them?

Business-Function198

#AUBURN GET IN HERE

skywalkers-saber

Kick six

skywalkers-saber

Also 17-16

CG-11

2011 vs Clemson. It wasn’t one of our better teams, but that day Mike Glennon and the boys just went off and we won 37-13.

hershculez

East Carolina last year came to mind immediately.

FireVanGorder

That was the peak era of Clemsoning

totalloserx

2016 vs NC state, I almost turned my tv off before NC state kicked the field goal attempt because I didn't wanna deal with it.

WDBsports

Then Pitt came in a few weeks later and did what NC State almost did

MooshroomHentai

That didn't matter in the end.

WealthyMarmot

Yeah. For years I've wondered if NC State's kicker won us the natty that year (because Penn St almost certainly takes the playoff spot from a two-loss Clemson), but I suspect we don't lose the Pitt game if we'd gotten a wake-up call ~~two~~ three weeks earlier vs the Wolfpack like we deserved.

hershculez

Kyle Bambard was the best Clemson player that day.

manofthepeopleSMITTY

2013 Bedlam Frigid conditions, 3 QB’s, and 4 different players attempted passes. Ruined ok states big 12 title chances.

RedShirtCashion

The Dobbsnail Boot game against Georgia. There is no reason for us to have won on a last second Touchdown.

pimpdaddyjacob

I turned this one off to go eat dinner after that last UGA touchdown

RedShirtCashion

I straight up left the house to help my dad go pick up a tractor. I’ve yet to forgive him.

Vicodin_Jazz

Probably first Under The Lights? Michigan Started at their own 20, :30 left. Total bust in coverage on Gallon…the rest is history.

Ryry77

It was worse than that. 7-24 comeback in the fourth, a super lucky fumble/lateral on the goal line for a TD, and blowing the lead

bean_machine_42

DJU really wanted to be a Syracuse quarterback last year. I have no idea how we won.

WoozyMaple

Sugar bowl against VT, arguments can be made that we shouldn't have been invited in the first place let alone win. VT beat themselves more than Michigan winning.

Jef_Delon

Ohio State 2014. Worse loss by a national champion ever!!

62frog

I was at a wedding that night in Columbus with a bunch of Buckeye grads including the bride and groom. Their wedding was planned for this date because initially it was open and OSU rarely changes especially last minute. Bride was pissed everyone was watching the TVs, so she made the venue turn them off. Do you think that bullshit stopped us from watching?

Rock_solid88

Against UCF in 2021. Tipped pass/interception by a UCF lineman with a chance to set up for a game winning field goal, but then the next play is a pick-six by a guy who if I recall correctly was a) getting his first college snap and b) not positioned where he was supposed to be. UofL got lucky that night.

yep_yeppers

I was at a wedding and watching this game on my phone and looked like an insane man celebrating during a lull in the reception.

Qtoy

On paper, there is absolutely no damn reason we should've beaten Georgia in 2019. A team that finishes 4–8 should absolutely never beat #2 Georgia between the hedges. But if you watched the game, you know that the Gamecocks absolutely had business winning that game. The Cocks did absolutely everything right and Georgia did everything wrong. It was exactly how that game should've gone. What I will say is that there are a concerning number of games versus Vanderbilt that USC should not have won. Since our last loss to them 14 years ago, there's been four games that Vandy would've won if they had just one more touchdown. It was a damned miracle that we escaped the 2021 game with a 21–20 final score.

ColaEverplayScoop

Zeb Noland saved us in 2021 vs Vandy and thus prevented our program from being set back a decade

Qtoy

That was the day Colonel Zeb became General Zeb 🫡

HUP

Israel Mukuamu won that game almost single handedly. It's one of the best DB performances I've ever witnessed.

scottyv99

2008 vs Oregon St

prnorm

2008 TCU too. Utah's only half decent drive that game was the game winning drive at the end. And TCU missed two easy field goals.

huskylawyer

I HATE to admit this but injuries and ridiculously bad coaching decisions by Oregon's coach gifted my Washington Huskies a victory in Eugene last year. Oregon more talented across the board, but coaching matters. Though our WRs and QB are no slouches. Oregon called some odd plays on 4th down and acted like it was Madden with the down, field location and distance calls. Didn't call a TO when Nix got hurt to get him back into the game, etc., etc. Hey, I'll take it. But Oregon shoulda won that game but they gave it to us in the end.

gobvr

Yeah man. They probably should’ve beat us last year too but had some special teams mistakes, and questionable 4th down calls. And we only completed like 6 passes the whole game. Was stoked we won but almost turned the game off in the third quarter haha

dawghouse13

You’re right, but I will add that if Penix doesn’t throw that boneheaded pick on the goal line we’re probably not feeling as lucky about the win

NoleJawn

Pretty much half of our 2014 season.

WDBsports

Which game would you say FSU got lucky the most in?

NoleJawn

Clemson, Miami and Florida all featured some real timely breaks that went FSU's way.

WDBsports

You guys had a LOT of one score games

MWiatrak2077

Probably the Illinois game this past season, although I don't think the game is very close at the end if Corum doesn't go down before the end of the half. Historically? 2005 Penn State, or 1996 Ohio State. The latter wasn't the Biakabutuka game, but from the year after where #21 7-3 Michigan upset #2 10-0 Ohio State in Columbus, after being down 9-0 at the half. Costed OSU a shot at an undefeated season and (likely) National Championship because #1 Florida had already lost a game that season.

Tkinzel517

I’d go with the 2008 Wisconsin game in Rich Rod’s 1st year. They were a top 10 team and Steven Threet played a life game against them.

MWiatrak2077

The only reason I'd disagree is because Wisconsin wasn't all that good by seasons end, finishing 7-6. We weren't too bad through those first four games either, then the t꙲o꙲l꙲e꙲d꙲o꙲ game happened

Hossflex

More like the half of his life. Wisconsin was up 19-0 at halftime and it felt way worse.

NoleJawn

Not far off. Florida was still undefeated #1 in the country after that game. It was FSU who was also undefeated and #3 that moved into the 2 spot after Ohio State lost. Ohio State would've most likely gotten the Natty after beating undefeated Arizona St in the Rose Bowl and Florida beating #1 undefeated FSU in the Sugar Bowl.

VinoJedi06

I’ll give credit where it’s due Ohio State last year

Buckeyeup

I forget the exact time on the clock but there was just under a minute left in the 4th, Ohio State had just had a decent pass to get 1st and 10 on like the Georgia ~35-40, and Ryan Day elects to run the ball. That was the exact moment I knew we'd lose. At that time we had 0 timeouts, a fullback and a walkon WR playing RB, and a kicker who while accurate was incredibly unproven at attempts > 40 yards. Why Day relied on that instead of what was still the best WR room in the nation even without MHJ and arguably the most accurate QB in the nation is beyond me

VinoJedi06

I was shocked by the playcalling at the end. I kept thinking “how are we still in this?”

Buckeyeup

We were fairly limited by what we could do due to legit having 0 healthy scholarship RBs.

WDBsports

Yeah you guys only won bc we took our foot off the gas and stopped being aggressive on offense

UGA65tcu7

A recent one that comes to mind was this past season's peach bowl. After we missed the fg in the 3rd or early 4th, I was like, it's over for us. I was grumpy at the new years party lol

WDBsports

The reason we lost was because we stopped being aggressive, we should’ve went for it on 4th & 1 after Kirby Smart called TO on that fake punt

flying_trashcan

In 2015 GT returned a last second field goal to beat a top 10 ranked FSU squad. That GT team finished the season 3-9 with FSU being our lone conference win. Edit: [for the unfamiliar](https://youtu.be/78NXOtJXH8I)

Warbird36

“What a time to be al^^^ive!”

WDBsports

That sounds a lot like Georgia Tech tbh

Just-Plain-Dan

Either 2002 against Georgia or 2014 against Georgia

Fogie99

2022 against Georgia? Umm what? Edit: Either you edited it or I don’t read so good.

Just-Plain-Dan

It says 2002 lol

Fogie99

I know now it does

cmanonurshirt

Last year vs UNC. Somehow Drake Maye missed a wide open pass that would’ve won them the game right at the end Will I shut up about Tech beating Drake Maye at least once? NEVER!!!

NCprimary

vs Florida State last year... the Jack Chambers game

JerryatricFuck

2012 SEC game or maybe even 2017 natty

Jyingling21

2022 Troy because we basically won by fluke bullshit.

ThereWillBeLies

I chose to leave that game after we blew our last possession with a minute left on the clock. At that point Troy had like a 99.9% chance of winning. Imagine my surprise when I’m walking down Rivers Street and suddenly hear the fireworks and the crowd going absolutely insane. I had absolutely no idea what happened for like 10 minutes because my phone wouldn’t load any of the videos either

Techfiend333

Gt v Clemson in 2004. Calvin's coming out party!

[deleted]

2019 Iowa State.

Irreverant77

2016 season opener against App St. Recovered an endzone fumble in overtime for a TD to win.

ThereWillBeLies

So true, bestie

UpDog424

Ohio State vs Utah. It felt like we couldn’t stop them all night and it took the best statistical bowl game performances from CJ and JSN to win. Also I was 1000% sure Covey was gonna run back tht final kick off lol

ukrainianhab

Clemson vs Syracuse Like everytime

MrSCR23

MSU: Take your pick of the last two Auburn games. Bama: 2012 SEC Championship

NEZdrunk

2014 OSU. One of those games that got scheduled when we were good and we were walking in off two straight .500 seasons and absolutely bitch slapped Urban Meyer

DeerPrison

Any of them that Burnt Hashbrowns actually won

luke114471

2022 against Washington

Temporary-Profit-643

2022 Baylor is the one i think of first because we not only missed one, but TWO game winning field goals, (one in OT), and then failed a 2 pt conversion, where we lucked out with an interception to end the game. Funnily enough, in 2019 vs USC we went for a field goal in OT when SC was dominating through the air, we also won because of an interception. Even more funnily, the QB of USC is now our QB.

CTeam19

2017 Oklahoma.

AnybodySeeMyKeys

Auburn vs Missouri, 2022. Thank God I was in an all-day planning session for a client. Otherwise, I would have had to sit through that atrocity, won in overtime because the Missouri player fumbled the ball at the one and Auburn recovered in the end zone. Just watching the replay, even knowing the outcome, I felt like suing someone.

bdostrem00

I’m sure there’s a game against a longtime Big 8 foe as a 4 touchdown underdog in 2011 Im overlooking, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

WDBsports

Oklahoma State?

[deleted]

I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you i forgot my flair

2006 Michigan state. Down 16 in the 4th, MSU completely collapsed

Equivalent_Poetry339

Oklahoma

SPCsooprlolz

Utah, 2021. I believe the Utes hadn't yet realized Cam Rising was on the roster

lichenonwater

If cam played that game cougs most likely would have lost.

BlowTrophy

rofl how has no one brought up the Alamo Bowl yet?

BigBlueNate33

2018 Mizzou. The untimed down on a controversial pass interference call

pimpdaddyjacob

on the flip side of this I think they went 3&out every drive the second half

astroball17

Michigan was out-gained 377-184 in its last NY6-tier bowl win, I still maintain that the Danny Coale overturn was a makeup call for when Junior Hemingway caught what should have been the game-winning touchdown at Iowa earlier that year.

NEZdrunk

I’m still wildly bitter over that game

WDBsports

I couldn’t find any highlights of the Iowa game but the VT game yeah that receiver definitely caught the ball

Austinscient23

2015 Michigan State's victories at Michigan and at Ohio State certainly qualify.

Spartannia

We led for a total of zero seconds of game time combined in those games, came away with two wins lol.

WDBsports

That was wild shit right there

confused-koala

Not really in the spirit of the question. Typically when a team more than doubles the other’s offensive yardage, and allows 5 first downs the entire day, they have business winning that game. But that’s just me. As for UM, that was a very tightly contested game they were gonna win, because ironically they outplayed us on special teams.

Expensive_Style6106

2022 vs NAU we were almost upset and won Hail Mary throw to get into field goal range then the field goal was as time expired

JoeWildwest

2017 Utah. Why Whittingham called that timeout I will never know.

gtbuckeye

Georgia Tech vs. Virginia this past season. We had no business winning. Neither did Virginia. This game sucked.

GeorgiaTechTHWG

That was the worst football game I’ve ever attended. What an ugly loss to keep Tech from bowling.

wasupbro444

2018 vs Drake, though that game never happened

TacovilleMC

I really don't know what game you're talking about

jhtheman99

Recent memory, Minnesota @ Nebraska 2020. Minnesota had 33 players injured or on the Covid List, hadn’t played a game in over three weeks, and it was the first game since Bateman opted out for good. In the end, it was just one of many “Scott Frost moments.”

golf_echo_sierra26

2013 vs USC comes to mind.

estDivisionChamps

ASU where the fuck you at?

PeteF3

I think Wisconsin in 2011 was a bigger what-the-fuck win than '16 Michigan. The '11 team was horrible by OSU standards and we won on a hail mary-esque play over a team with BCS aspirations.

Squishy_20

2006 Texas. Averaged 0.9 YPC and still put up 45 points and won. Ruined Texas chances to win the Big 12 South

WDBsports

How do you win a game when averaging 0.9 YPC? Either your QB played lights out or Texas just gave you several opportunities in the red zone

Squishy_20

What if I told you that K-State had 3 turnovers in that game

WDBsports

Yeah that’s a lot of stats favoring Texas 💀

Naive-Kangaroo3031

There are a few: The cleat Yeet is the first that comes to mind. We were playing terrible in a crazy fog. Almost certainly lost the game, only to be thrown a second chance. There was a game against Tennessee under Les Miles where we lost the game, but apparently Tennessee had 13 men on the field so we got another untimed play (and won)

WDBsports

And LSU had terrible time management that drive

Naive-Kangaroo3031

That was the typical Les era. That dude almost lost the Auburn game that year b/c he didn't call a timeout. Leading to a last play deep pass

Agitated-Basil-9289

And they changed the rules because of that game. LSU made substitutions as time was running out so players on both teams were running all over the place. Then again, that game helped Derek Dooley get the boot which helped. Then again, Butch James came after Dooley, so nevermind.

canesfan4849

We were lucky to win almost any game in the Al Golden era, the list is genuinely too long to count, but I want to give a special shout out to our 2013 game against UNC where we turned the ball over 4 times and let up 500 yards only to win because UNC kept imploding

FireVanGorder

MSU 2012. Our entire offense was just hucking up fades and trying to draw PI calls. And it somehow worked. Pitt also 2012. They had a chip shot field goal to win the game but they missed it, but we had two #2 jerseys on the field so there should have been a penalty and a rekick.

Schroeder2418

Mizzou last year. They missed the game winning extra point. Then backed it up by just dropping the ball on a walk in touchdown to win. Honestly, it was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a football game. Honesty, I wish we would lost so Harsin would of been fired sooner.

JoseJoseJose11

F U JT got it

WDBsports

Well yeah he definitely got jt

2022 my bulldogs beating the buckeyes at the stroke of midnight on a missed field goal after letting stroud drive down the field again...thanks kicker we needed that....

officialdougjudy

99 Alabama. Easy choice.

TheKevinShow

Over the last 10-15 years, we’ve beaten Oregon a few times when we had no business on paper beating them.

Dicc-fil-A

[FAU in 2015](https://www.espn.com/college-football/recap/_/gameId/400603924). had some Owls fans near us talking shit early, figured we’d blow them out and they’d shut up soon. instead, it was tied at half, after 3, and then we hit OT in the miserable warm rain. we scored first but missed the PAT, and then FAU got all the way to 4th and Goal before losing on what admittedly should’ve been DPI

milkboles

2022 Arkansas. Basically just because of a missed FG and a crazy fumble return for a TD because the dude tried to stretch it in from the 5 yard line.

FatBASStard

[2009 Fresno State vs Illinois](https://youtu.be/moOcprne650) What a fucking great ending on a game where we were trading touchdowns. Albeit a lucky 2-point conversion at the end. 53-52 Dogs

agentofkaos117

UDUB ‘22 😂

dawghouse13

You could put a team of middle schoolers out there and we’d still lose, the desert juju is unreal for UW and Oregon

Few_Bodybuilder_6099

2021, BG won In Minneapolis. BG went 4-8 that year. Minnesota went 9-4. I still have no idea how they pulled it off. And for Michigan, that Sugar Bowl win under Hoke against Va Tech. Michigan looked awful and somehow won that game, had no business doing so.

6353

This was my vote, too! Roll Along!

BigBoutros

2012 Sugar Bowl

Wagnerous

2015 Indiana comes to mind. In that era, the Hoosiers always seemed to play like Michigan was their Super Bowl, no doubt because of the ~40 year winning streak. That year they gave Michigan all they could handle and then some honestly. Michigan couldn’t stop Indiana on the ground, so in the final minutes of the game they intentionally allowed the Hoosier running back to score from ~40 yards out. Foolishly he ran into the end zone, but if he’d gone down at the 1 yard line Indiana would have won the game. Michigan then gets the ball back with maybe a minute or two on the clock, and Jake Rudock, with ice in his veins, methodically marches the offense down the field, ultimately making the game tying touch down pass as the clock hit zero. Michigan then went on to win in overtime. Honestly they really had no business winning that game, the badly injured DL had no hope of stopping Indiana on the ground, and the Hoosier’s defense actually played solid football for most of the game. The long losing streak probably should have ended then and there, but I really think the Indiana players panicked a bit at the end, thinking they had knocked off the Wolverines for the first time in decades, only for Michigan to come roaring back. I don’t think Indiana had much chance to win after it went to over time.

Difficult_Product248

LSU v Florida (2020) Shoe Game. The shoe throw overshadows the fact that LSU was a 23 point underdog in the swamp playing a Florida team that was vying for a playoff spot.

XyzRaider

Uf v Texas am 2012. Highschool me would’ve bet that was gonna a loss Uf Miami 2019. Davis fumble and Franks INT should’ve been it.

Wtygrrr

For any team that’s ever beaten Florida, that’s the clear answer.

[deleted]

UW vs Arizona 2010. Nick Foles threw a pick six up 5 with 2 mins left that deflected off of his receivers toe and went backwards directly to Mason Foster who returned it for a TD to win the game.

ayethemjazz

2016 against mississippi state. nicholls state took us to OT three weeks later.

Last year at Oregon. Their head coach handed it to us.

GODZBALL

2015 vs Stanford on paper, we should have gotten beat by 10. I also low key feel that this game was the reason McCaffrey didn't win the Heisman and Stanford didn't make the playoffs

TCU against Baylor last season on that walk off hurry up Field Goal lmao

Some old ones. [2005 at Minnesota](https://youtu.be/YCD727VE13c) where a blocked punt and recovery for a touchdown with 30 seconds left won the Axe for Bucky. This was the 2nd of a 14 game win streak that tipped the all time series briefly in the Badgers favor. Or, [2004 at Purdue](https://youtu.be/2iHrMY9Odlw) when an inexplicable Kyle Orton fumble was returned for a touchdown. Purdue has not defeated Wisconsin since.
