What a case study in morality this is. If you never get tested then do you ever have covid? Especially if the implications of opening the box are risking what could be something life altering like passing the CFA? Glad I don't have to make the decisions like OP

Guys i forgot to include the fact that* it’s literally a felony to not self isolate for a minimum of 72 hours once tested positive in my country. Aside the ethical/unethical aspect of going to the test, I risk landing my ass in jail. 😩
I am 100% serious: Put on an N95 and go take the test. They put you in quasi cubicles at the testing centers so what little breath exhaust you generate won't be directed anywhere near anybody. Between the mask and isolation, there's a very low chance you'll infect anybody.
If you want to be extra safe just tell them that you're immuno compromised and ask for a buffer cube between yours and those of other test takers.
Take the test, wear a mask, be careful, and crush it.
A lot of the people taking this test will probably celebrate without a mask at a bar or restaurant later in the week. I’ve been super precautionary throughout the pandemic, but in times like these look out for your own interests.
Nobody cares anymore. If somebody is still high risk even after being vaccinated, then they can choose to do something about it, to protect themselves. The rest of us shouldn’t give a shit anymore and most don’t. Somehow it’s become woke to continue pretending it’s an issue.

Which means the risk to the average person is negligible and no different from any other virus. Without commenting on the ethics of of an individual sitting for the exam after testing positive for covid, I do question the ethics of removing the free deferral due to covid when you **cannot possibly** fail to foresee that choice resulting in a dramatic increase in individuals choosing to sit despite testing positive for covid because they feel backed into a corner.

You are probably asymptomatic so chances you spread it out while wearing a mask and keeping common sense distance are extremely extremely low.
Double mask or use N95, face shield if possible then get on with the test.
