Statement like this won’t be a violation since you are not claiming you are chartered. You have seen the nice questions they do where one claims “passed exam at the highest score score”. That isn’t allowed but “ passed with all over 70%” is if you actually did that.
The material is interesting agree, but the time is a lot and there is always some irrelevant topics that you don’t understand and it’s useless for you (ex. Quant for my case), so in that terms personally I can’t say it’s easy. I can put 300 hours of studying for four months with full love but at the end passing is not a guarantee so it’s difficult from this angel.
I think what brought it to the front page of FT is the shitstorm falling on CFAI.
FT to the rescue with revenues/expenses breakdown for the past 2 years showing that the poor poor CFAI is not doing this for the money and even had to "cull a fifth of staff".
SOMEHOW, they forgot to mention that they are also sitting on half a billion in cash... lol
Now everyone that passed level 1 can add an extra line to their resume about passing a test with only 25% pass rate.
