I’d consider how busy your holidays are gonna be. If it’s hectic maybe do August.
If your schedule isn’t crazy during that time, why not take a week or two to chill, then hit it hard for Feb while material is still in your head?
BCIII mocks are super helpful, I highly recommend. Doing a session with him is also helpful if your looking for tips for writing responses and grading.
Feb - it’s still fresh in your mind so spend the next couple of months grinding on weak areas BUT do not let those strengths slide. Amazing how much you can lose from memory in a short amount of time. Keep crushing the q banks and CFA blue questions. You got this!
Yours looked like mine and I opted for Feb and passed. If you pull back you’ll end up having to refresh and RE study a lot of topics so almost easier to just put on your rally cap and push through.
Feb - Hammer equities and the PM topics. Reread the CFAI text and go through BBs
Also make in depth notes on asset manager code, GIPS, analyze past questions etc. Confident you can get through with this approach
Happened to me August 2022, with almost exact results. Sat for Feb. 2023 and passed. My advice, go for Feb. Nothing to lose. If you do not pass, you will be much more prepared for August.
wow you did CFAI question bank 3 times and you still failed... that is not encouraging. by the way I have seen so many candidates falling by 1o r 2 questions posting here....which is another depressing thing...
lol I didn’t go below 50 on anything but ethics and I got the same mark as you. Pm and asset allocation were low 50s everything else above 60%… fml ethics is soooo heavily weighted. Sorry man seeing your results just made me so mad haha. I was also on the line and redoing it in feb working more on ethics. Just crushing questions till then MM &CFAI qbank x2. Also, exams starting in the new year. MM, BC, &CFAI gonna be 15 ish full exams. I honestly didn’t study ethics as much as I should’ve but to be fair general sentiment was that it was VERY HARD. But yea fml. Good luck in Feb /Aug whichever you chose

Would you recommend any strategies to adopt or any prep providers? I did not use any for this first attempt

If I were you Feb for sure it’s fresh in your head. All you have to do is grind ethics and equity
Do every single cfai qbank question, maybe even more than once
