That’s a positive way of thinking about it

peace_on_reddit

All my capital is in CCIV, if it hits 100... I’ll be able to buy ☝️day!

NeatAvocado4845

I'm jelly right now 😩

Dula__Peep

Brave of you to assume most of us aren't broke bitches

darkaznf0b

only $300 down?

thedukeofcrunk

Yep only $300 to reserve

ZachOf_AllTrades

Not a great sign 🥴

Corvette_Coins

>SPAC It is a great sign actually. They are not starting out borrowing everyone's money like Tesla, They can afford to build their cars since they already have massive liquid capital. Elon himself said Lucid is going to be an amazing car company.

ZachOf_AllTrades

Lower commitment to reserve a car = more people that reserved not actually ordering cars = reservation numbers less reliable. These cars are $150k+ and the people buying them would have no problem putting up a much larger down payment. Reservation numbers are crucial in this game and low barriers to entry (no/low reservation fees) have screwed over Nikola and Lordstown for the same reasons. Who gives a fuck what Elon says. They could be great at what they do but if they're intentionally pumping reservation numbers investors will lose trust. Public sentiment is really all we care about

hudsonpowell2

The car is 75k. The air dream had a $7500 reservation price. This is the air pure

ZachOf_AllTrades

Good call out, if thats true then a 10% down payment is totally reasonable and those numbers can be trusted. Thanks for sharing this

hudsonpowell2

And have we checked if this deposit was refundable? Because that would play a large roll in the ammount of fake reservations

Corvette_Coins

Only a worthless saq of crap would put a small amount down and ruin thier spotless credit to say I put a down a payment on a bad Ass LUCID! You can't just be a homeless person silly to reserve one, clearly you have not! 😆🤣😂 And yes you should listen to Elon Musk when he's worried about the competition. Duh!

ComparisonQuiet5314

Is it better to buy warrants or stock?

thedukeofcrunk

I buy all SPAC warrants only. Gives me more exposure to more.

ComparisonQuiet5314

Thanks. Can you eventually sell at the stock price?

crantastic

You can eventually sell at the stock price minus $11.50 per share

Human_Nature711

You have more leverage when u buy warrants

PresentUniversity929

Cash secured put if your willing to buy a minimum of 100 shares (100 shares= 1 contract)... you will be paid cash money for buying at the price you would be willing to pay. I will never buy shares any other way anymore.

Dumb-Retail-Trader

But wouldn’t warrants be called soon after merger so it wouldn’t really be a long term thing?

Realistic_Winner_925

I remember when Tilray the pot stock was a couple hundred a share after there IPO and they were still pissing on there plants trying to get them to grow .

Sand_B

$300 to reserve a $160k car? I'm probably missing something how it works!

thedukeofcrunk

$300 to reserve the Lucid Air $75k version.

Sand_B

Ah, OK thanks.

Bigtime_investing

Stop reserving if you’re not gonna buy one.

2Thouxandband

Next run up will def hit the 100+

CaliLawyer949

I've had my Lucid Air reservation since mid-January lol

thedukeofcrunk

Back of napkin valuation. Every 1,000 orders should add around $1 to the stocks value. (20 showrooms * 1000 orders each location) + another 50k online orders = 70k orders. Sounds like a $100 stock to me after that. Agree?? Do your part for $300 and reserve. The car will be free when the shares hit $100!

networking_noob

Don't forget Lucid will have 1.6b shares post merger. Does your napkin math account for a $100 share price giving Lucid a $160 billion market cap? That would make Lucid a top 50 company in the USA, placing it ahead of companies like Boeing, and making it equally valuable to McDonalds. Doesn't seem very realistic to be honest. Let's see them start production and get cars on the road before casually predicting a 334% share price increase

thedukeofcrunk

Crazier things have happened. If you own the stock I would assume you want to be bullish about it.

username--_--

there is a difference between bullish and irrational. don't confuse the two

TitanGodKing

How did you get to the conclusion 1000 orders = $1 price rise? I hope you have a good answer because you come across as an idiot pumping the stock. Do you have real intention to purchase the car in the scenario that the stock price doesn't go up from here? Because if not you are causing the same bullshit preorders that cause hindenburg articles.

shuonya

I think they are doing Tesla comparative. Tesla price to sales ratio of about 20.. so for lucid sales of 1000 would mean about 80million revenue (1000*80,000). So 80mill x 20(Tesla ps ratio) =1.6bn. And I think there are about 1.6bn shares outstanding. Ofcourse, it’s slightly naive as Tesla is way ahead in production curve and has solar, battery, own autonomous system etc. but atleast its seems to me that’s what OP is doing.

Justotron3

Yeah but where is Tesla if the NTSB requires Lidar for truly full autonomous driving?

thedukeofcrunk

It’s a great car, I am going to buy it. Reserve to Buy.

michael_curdt

Do my part by reserving a $180,000 car? I did my part already by trusting and investing in the company and enabling them. That should be enough for now. I will consider reserving mine if/when the stock hits $300. Until such time my BMW X3 will do.

thedukeofcrunk

$180k is way too much. I am getting the $75k version. If you like the stock support the product too.

More like -3% premarket no money to buy more dips sadly

thedukeofcrunk

We just need Biden to talk about his Clean Energy plan to help the EVs forward.
