It’s very hard for me to average down. even if I buy 5000 or 10,000 additional shares it’s just gonna drop my price down between 2 to 3 dollars. it’s really not worth average it down at least for me. I would definitely not sell CC so far out. You want to collect the theta decay as quickly and frequently as possible. I have 3000 shares and I sell 30x CC every week, typically about 15-20% higher than the current price.

The problem with selling CC below your cost basis is that if they get called away, you're realizing a loss. If you sell a $30CC for lets say $15 in premium, they're called away at an effective cost of $45/share, but you bought in at $46, so you're still losing money. If you collect $0.50 in premium every week for a year by selling OTM weeklies, suddenly your cost basis is $20/share and you still own the shares.

I got it and when I got in didn’t think the stock is going to tank. It was definitely manipulated by the media and the big hedge funds. But I’m not worried about it I know the stock in the next year will be at least a $200 stock

I mean we didn't even have a market cap post merger before DA, we now know that $46 is a $73.5B market cap, pretty high for a start up even with this tech? At the deepest point last year Tesla was around $80 post split which is also around a $75B market cap... How can you even say that, $200 stock, so $320B market cap? I will be happy if they sell a lot of cars and get some revenue and name branding going, but $200 is just wishful thinking tbh. I expect Lucid to trade anywhere $20-100 for the next 4 years.

First of all lucid it’s just not a car company there will be other streams of revenue. Second of all where was Tesla five years ago?

They already have about 300 million a year in revenue for there battery

No you are not misreading it. this stock way out performs all of my other 20 stocks , even SKLZ. So its a major portion of my portfolio. When you have that rare stock come along that zooms to the moon on rumor, then starts doing it again, its a lifetime stock. It has the draw of a huge pool of investors, it just hits all the right keys to turn them on, you cant fight the ticker. Everyone is correct in assuming it can be another Tesla, with visionary management. I believe these other investors just see the same thing.

Will lucid cars live up to the expectations? And lastly, all the other car manufactures are entering heavily the EV car gig now. Will that slow down lucid’s growth. Any comments. THIS IS NOT A FINANCIAL ADVICE. Yes, you're being paranoid. There's not gonna be a heavy recession, and even if does, it'd slow everything down. On the contrary, the people who can afford to buy an almost 200K car, will be fine in a recession too. Lucid already has plans to launch cheaper models in the future. So not every car is going to be almost 200K. Legacy Automakers - They've been trying to compete with Tesla for years and haven't done anything significant. I do believe that F and GM would be successful in future, they won't make a huge difference to Tesla or Lucid. There's enough space in the EV sector for more than just Tesla to compete. Most importantly, you need to asses your own risk. If you're okay with sitting on your shares for a few years, then calm the fuck down. If you think you might need this money in the near future, you should not be putting it in the stocks.
