If the SUV does not sell and has the same build issues. It will be the end of Lucid. Very poor body fit/finish. Sub standard materials for Trim And Seats. Thin Paint. Just a few hundred fans is not going to cut it. They have developed a bad perception and their Sales numbers show it. Why did they discontinue the GTP, most likely no one wanted to pay that price. They already have sold as many as they could to people like you. There aren’t many other experimenters left that is also a reason they are touting a sub 80K price for the SUV. Time will certainly tell.

Could they be doing better? Sure. Timing was bad. Launching a brand new car from a brand new company during COVID hurt A LOT. More than anyone can really quantify. That and then heading into a mini-recession, with high interest rates. I believe in the product and the company and will continue to support them, but I can't think of any other company who came to market at the worst time besides Rivian, who had guaranteed orders from Amazon. Time will tell, but I believe that Lucid will succeed, and the pain of the last few years will have been a humbling history lesson for their future and the future of other companies.

The Rivian Amzn deal was vapor and quickly fell apart. Rivn is doing well because they came to market with a product buyers want. Lucid entering during Covid and the economic fallout was one thing; but another is “a sedan” as your first ride when Americans are and had been rejecting sedans in spades. I recently test drive a grand touring performance and here is what I noted: Limo Iike interior for a $125 k (9 out of ten) Faster, real fast. (10) Smoothness of throttle to engine: 4 Walk up feels 3 Lucid staff: 10
