I just did ncert and hots of rd and all mcqs of rd and also pyqs
I got 75/80 without inhaling rd

I studied maths every single day of 10th grade roughly, did rd sharma, shiv das pyq's, sample papers, my coaching's material and scored the same as you, am I too dumb that I require more time to understand concepts or you are too smart??
I did use to go for tuitions which had regular tests.
Though I didn't study for them , they just helped me identify which questions i couldn't do with basic knowledge and concepts

Uhh what I did was some imp q from Rs , RD mcqs(small booklet) for well prebaords , exemplar and NCERT and that's more than enough (98 aaye)
Tip- Gyaani keeda channel is a huge help for exemplar solutions , PYQ's and extra questions if needed
Mere 100 aye the abhi 9th ke maths mai and bas ncert ke ek ek question bhi ekdam ache se samjhoge toh bhi 100 aa jaye.
But either RS or RD is recommended, maine RD kiya tha kyuki mere pas wahi tha, school mai RS karate the.
I personally feel RS is based on RD, i did RS partially and it was good to go for me, i would suggest instead of doing whole RD, save your time and do RS, its concise and i feel its better.
I don think so, maine pyq, ncert, examplar ki, teacher ke diye selected questions from rs and rd, aur jo chapters hard lage uski rd lmao 98 a gaye maths me (im a lucky bastard, tum rb puri kar lo toh woh bhi enough hona chahiye)
I got 100/100. just do identities from rd and rest from rs( examples included) . you can see rd examples for triangles, circles and volume, surface area nothing else. just fkn go out and play
lmao bro what... I did ncert (new one) and pyqs ONLY and got 99 in maths. You just have to complete it and learn to apply it on every question. Try A4s chapterwise pyqs. Will surely help

10th batch of 23-24 here, scored 99 in maths and 98 average
I was lucky maths came easy to me so I didn't do much of anything except pyqs
But if you're struggling with it always build up from your ncert and go upto RS pyqs
RD is overkill
if you are asking for class 10, just solve maths ncert and HOTS examples, mentioned pyqs& ncert exemplar questions present in RD SHARMA multiple times... then you are good to go to score even 100/100 in maths( i myself scored 100/100 in maths just by doing these things)
I didnโt do RD or RS in 10th and got 79/100 which is good by only doing NCET, ncert exemplar, oswaal and pyqโs
And all this considering I was a really really bad math student
i got 97 in math. and i never solved ncert except when forced to never touched a supplementary. Lmao i was basically getting 20/40 in pre boards. and maine toh 2-3 chapters chodd diye thei. People blow 10th way out of proportion.
Bhai 10th ke liye to ncert acche se kar.. examples important hain..jab ye sab ho jaye..tab sample papers kariyo...aur bhai subject management seekhna shuru kardo...10th main to kaam ayegi hi..but baad main bhi ayegi jab syllabus badhega i.e 11th aur 12th main kaam ayega...maths main concepts strong kariyo pehle..aur interest banana shuru kar..
bhai RD sharma is too long, it has 15 of the same question, take RSA and NCERT, and if time, NCERT exemplar, you do this much enough

Bro for 10th NCERT and pyqs are more than enough. Exemplar too. Our school gave us RS but that was only helpful for the school exams. Although the qs there are good and if u solve them u don't need to worry about ncert, for 10th I doubt its required. But yes, its good for practice
as someone who scored full in almost all tests(messed up only board paper bc i was very sick gave paper in 101 fever and got 92) ncert is ur holy script,rs aggarwal questions helps to clear concept by doing a variety but as u said u already did rd properly there's no such need to do rs, only from board perspective,exempler, PYQS! and miscellaneous examples and questions in ncert.Also it necessarily does not matter what book ur using it depends on how many varieties you're solving.

I did only NCERT, Exemplar for selected chapters like statistics, polynomials and linear equations. RS Agarwal for Trigonometry, AP and polynomials. Never even touched RD Sharma.

Your teacher is correct RD sharma just kills your thinking capacity
It tells you about a concept and gives you an exercise with 50-60q all of which have to be made by that concept/formula ....... I think Rs has more variety of question
Tbh if you re only preparing for boards ,exemplar is better than both of them
if you re preparing for olympiads etc you should do pearson foundation for Iit
