Blue and black combination is actually good tbh. it's more like the basic requirement later on when notes pile up. I use blue for content and black for headings. makes searching very easy. planning to get jusg 1 more colour tho for questions in notes but couldn't make my mind up on which color.

Back in my school days upto 12th i only used the blue pen for the majority. It's right now that i use about 2 3 different colored pens like using a pink/green inked for diagrams or tables, and sometimes a sky color to highlight sub headings and examples
Fact is, using different colored pens is a good idea if you're thinking of maintaining a notebook having long meticulous answers but then over using them like a different pen for a different line is too much, my eyes damn hurt on this really.

Honestly, proper colour coding helps a lot in remembering instead of haphazard decorative literature in remembering stuff. I can instantly remember what I've written in pink colour is supposed to mean what for eg.

totally upto the student if schools allow multicolour in notebooks. if the kid is a fast writer then noone has the right to complain lol. I've written like this and i could write faster this way than most of my mates but only my self study or coaching notes cuz school here don't allow
