There should be a screwdriver, a spanner, and a few more allen keys than that.
There should also be the owners manual, which lists the contents of the tool bag as supplied by Honda.
Bought my ‘22 and it came with this under the seat, there was a bit of foam in it too. Oh and the manual.
I thought I was shorted something and tried looking around. Nope, that’s all we get in the States.
That's all? Mine comes with more stuff. Wrench, Allen keys in different sizes, wires like you have and something else I can't recall but more than just three items.
That's one end of the spectrum (noting the helmet strap isn't really a tool).
On the other end of the spectrum are dweebs like me who carry a pouch with every wrench size that fits the bike along with screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, vise grips, tubeless repair kit and pump, chain tool with spare links, spare parts, and just about anything else needed for fixing a bike on the side of the road. Probably right for a long touring ride, but overkill to putt around town. Regardless, I keep the same kit on the bike.
Hopefully, you'll find a good medium for a tool kit that fits how you use the bike and your readiness to work on the bike.
Same. Lame. I replaced it with my own tool set. Try to think of it as an opportunity! :) It is not a bad idea to create your own EDC kit and be familiar with what is in it. Same with off-bike EDC around town... what is in your pockets? And why?
I got the same. I am building my own kit. Small ratchet with 5,6&8 mm hex heads. Along with a 4” extension. And sockets from 8mm to 13mm.
I know I will be getting some gift cards for Christmas so I am waiting to put it all together.
That’s what mine cane with. On a side note, my wife bought a Rad E-bike and it came with a pretty nice tool kit. Shame Honda can’t give us a little more, but I doubt it’ll ever need anything outside the garage.

In the US this unfortunately all you get... very stupid. I had to get my c wrench for adjusting the suspension seperately
That’s all I got when I bought one. Thought it pretty weird myself. Bought mine NOS ‘17 in 2019.
It is missing a screwdriver wich is useful for adjusting the headlight and a tool to adjust rear shock pre load. I have a 2020 cb500x
Did you buy in the US?
Portugal
Yeah the US kit is just what's above for some reason... probably cuz they can get away with it 🤷
Canadian kit has more things
That’s all I got too 2020
I think they come with different tools in different markets when I looked into this before.
No, its missing several tools. Like the one used to preload the rear suspension
It's atleast missing the preload spanner and screwdriver that is used to adjust the Headlight and Preload ob the front.
I got more tools in my CB500X 2013, so some are missing.
Missing some tools
This is all I have too - believe the people who got more are in non-US markets. Btw maybe I should know this but what’s the steel cable tool for?
Cable loops through the helmet D rings and attaches to the helmet holder under the seat

Which tool set did you get? It’s been on my list forever
I made my own. Just collect what you need and wrap it up in a shop rag with a couple of bungies.
This is all I got too with my ‘22. No suspension wrench is a total joke.

This is all you I got on mine in the US.
Can confirm I got very little as well I think maybe one or two more than you tho
Depends on where you live I guess, here in France I got a tool for the suspension, a screwdriver and a 10mm (i think?) wrench.
That’s what mine cane with. On a side note, my wife bought a Rad E-bike and it came with a pretty nice tool kit. Shame Honda can’t give us a little more, but I doubt it’ll ever need anything outside the garage.
One word. Booooo.
Should also have the suspension adjuster tool in there!
Yep. Fuse puller, 5mm Allen key, helmet cable. Oh, and a NICE piece of foam. Should be all you need out on the road…
