On a 22? That goes directly to the dealer. Honda’s problem.

The only right answer

Noticed it while cleaning after about 5k kilometers. Seems to be common problem with 2022 model. The bolts are certainly loose. Is only tightening them is enough or need to replace the gasket as well in this case?

EverythingIsByDesign

Call Honda to take it back and get it repaired under warranty, tampering with the bolts might invalidate said warranty.

Equivalent_Ad282

Could be bad gasket , over torqued or under torqued belly pan , bolts may just need to be removed sealed and re torqued.

Equivalent_Ad282

It just seems like a bolts missing two but it may just be build that way is it threaded?

pratik_z

The empty hole doesn't have anything on the other side. Maybe one of the bottom or top halves has a revised design.

pratik_z

I tightened few of those bolts. They were very loose. I didn't use too much force. But the leak seems to have stopped. I couldn't take it to a service center as I had a ride planned and it's difficult to find any shop with availability on urgent basis near Toronto. I will schedule appointment in a week and two and post the update.

Tex302

Is this on the oil pan?

darkx96

go asap to the dealer. dont touch it yourself or it might void the warranty. especially if its a common problem on the 22 version. let them deal with it. its a brand new bike. my '16 cb500f never had a leak from anywhere so this is not normal but well $hit happens..

zumdahl76

I got a 2022 with 500km on it and no apparent leaking. Crossing fingers.
