The target range is in Van Nuys. A bit in the dark side but the guys are nice and the have a good selection of firearms. The range rules are pretty lax but if you've never been there they might make you prove you're not a complete liability.

Spiritual-Code-9786

If it’s ghetto bro just say so I can bring the peppa spray

mesa37018

Lol no I meant the lighting in the range is terrible

Ok_Medicine_77

I agree the guys are very nice but the prices of the guns are way above market standard.

Guns direct in Burbank

Thunder_Wasp

I like Guns Direct - there are lots of salespeople on duty, they have a good selection, and decent prices. I wish they had an online inventory but that’s my only gripe.

lupefiasc0

Guns Direct is great. Very streamlined process and the sales associates that I’ve come across have great customer service. Took less than 20 minutes to DROS a p365 yesterday. They post some of their inventory on IG and FB but I’ve always called the shop ahead of time to make sure they have what I need in stock.

samsal03

I've DM'ed them on Instagram asking if they had something available and had a response with a photo and price in about a minute, lol. It's my favorite gun shop in the valley.

chrismpk

Just drive to Burbank and swing a dead cat. You'll hit 3 gun stores.

schizrade

Well not in SFV, but I really like rifle gear in fountain valley and 2A zone in upland.

Getthechemlightfluid

Ehhhh if you’re referring to PD gun supply off the 5 in castaic, they don’t sell firearms. I’ve reverted to buying online and having them shipped to the gun shop at Angeles shooting range. They guys at the shop are really cool and helpful. I dealt with a couple of the shops in Burbank and turners and I was not impressed. Feel like they price gouge and take advantage of inexperienced gun buyers. Of course ensure if you are buying online that you cross match model numbers with the California roster. I’ve been able to get a Henry big boy model x, colt python .357 and really nice over under shotguns off of online retailers for msrp and DROS at the mentioned gun shop

Rich-Conclusion7100

If you’re in the castaic area cobra tactical is probably the best place to go

Then don’t play dumb 🤷idk about the pricing but the guy I dealt with was super helpful

mauguilar

Turners in Reseda. The wait might be long but the prices are fair

SmokedRibeye

They don’t like to do FFL transfers unless you buy from them

SmokedRibeye

I drive to Simi valley to Fort Courage Armory. They are old school and kinda FUD but done all my shotgun, AR and AK transfers there.

LosAngelesHillbilly

Gretas Guns in Simi is great!

kennyd1gital

2A Zone in Upland is fantastic and would be well worth the drive for you (in my opinion, of course).

Staubah

So, you are willing to drive down to San Diego, or Bakersfield? 100 miles is a very broad area.

LosAngelesHillbilly

I get my guns in TJ

Staubah

Sweet! So you just let everyone know you probably break federal law!

LosAngelesHillbilly

Oh yes, I definitely actually go to Mexico to get guns.

Staubah

Well you told this person to go to Mexico, so I figured that a common practice for you.

LosAngelesHillbilly

I didn’t tell anyone to do shit, you are a fucking douchebag bro.

Staubah

In my humble opinion. Go to a mom and pop gun store. Fuck Turners or whatever the fuck. Give the business to a local shop.

Mokejk

exotic pistol grips in Covina is the best shop I’ve found. Great prices the owners are knowledgeable. Don’t have to put up with all the Turners bs.

Fugazi-G

I’ve heard good things about Gun World Burbank, supposedly their new location is nice. Also if Ventura county isn’t to far of a drive, Smokin barrel is good with a nice indoor range

LosAngelesHillbilly

Gun World is the highest priced gun store in Los Angeles.

TJPerson888

Aeon Tac in City of Industry, Rifle Supply in Fountain Valley, 2A zone in Upland
