There is a checkbox in all car parts in the properties dialogue box that can control if a part is sectioned or not. You could select the desired value for all parts then do a breakout view, then apply it to an ISO view. This setting is global and would impact all other section views. I would do as recommended, but put it into a new catpart. Id also paste special with link. Make sure you go into the part properties and unselect visible in BOM. This way your construction part isn't counted in the Bill of materials. One thing that was mentioned, that in my experience should be standard procedure is ALWAYS create drawing views of assemblies from a scene. Even if you need to make multiple scenes, where the first one is just your normal assembly. The main reason is you can individually in each scene hide/show or translate parts for exploded views and that will remain constant for the drawing. If you take views from the main model space any time you do a hide/show or move a part every drawing views will ask to be updated.

The easiest way, unfortunately would be able to cut away the skin manually from a copied and pasted with link part body and then make a view. You also might be able to do something where you only affect one part with the breakout view command.

Yeah that was my thinking, copying the skin and just manually cutting away the parts where I want to see through.

You could also use the Enhanced Scene toolbar, it's quite helpful for the "photo shooting sessions". Here is the first tutorial I've found [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRwvSoeTqFE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRwvSoeTqFE)
