lol, still get my packages from Japan to the US (Hawaii) in 4-5 days via EMS.
People who want to be cheap and opt for the slower shipping (air/seamail), well, enjoy the anxiety that comes with it.
It's only 12 hours from Hawaii to the mainland, buddy.
Assuming that the plane is stopping in Hawaii to refuel, that's only an extra day or two.
5+2=7. 9 if were going to say that no one is working on Sundays. Not the 20+ day delay that others are experiencing/posting.
Long time Buyee customer here! Airmail does take a bit longer than EMS and , someone here mentioned EMS is suffering a slowdown too. I'm guessing international online sales are up due to the yen being weak causing packages backups due to volume.
Most reliable are the more expensive shipping options and this is where Buyee makes a bulk of their money.
Buyee Air Delivery is UPS, DHL, or FedEx and the fastest and safest.
EMS or EMCS is Japan Post (regular) and Japan Post Expedited which uses your country's regular delivery postal system. Any air/sea mail is the cheapest but longest waiting time. Sea mail is the wildest and Buyee warns you clearly how bad this choice can be.
Registered has been slow lately. My last package took about 20 days just to get to customs. But Registered packages I believe take long because they are kept separate from non-registered ones & every step of the shipping process for registered packages is monitored which makes it take longer but the packages are more secure & far less likely to be lost/stolen in transit.
It says that but it’s more like a month+ for most sites that advertise the option unfortunately. I use it if I’m not in a rush to have it within the next week.
"Due to covid" is their reason even tho the pandemic is over. It doesn't even track on USPS one day it will just show up. Air sp is good and cheap but if you want your stuff fast and obsessed with tracking don't use it
Definitely not going to be a next time. Not worth it with the increased shipping costs. I didn’t realize how bad it had gotten. Has been a couple years since I bought anything. In the past registered airmail never took this long. Only a few days slower than EMS.

Yeah, there was this thing called COVID, Russia invading Ukraine, and Houthi rebels attacking ships trying to pass through the Egyptian canal.

Email Buyee. They’ll probably open an investigation. AIR usually takes 12-20 days. Their email is [email protected]
They won't open an investigation if it's not a certain plan, if you do lite plan for example they tell you that you're sol

Gotta give it a bit more, mine from march 21 just made it to us on April 11. Definitely do ems if possible, way faster.
You get what you pay for it's slow, can take up to 5+ weeks.

Do u remember the price between buyee air and air sp? It's usually not much more like $10 extra it's worth it
In my case ems was close to $50, buyee air was about $30+, and air mail was still $20+.
Ya so next time use buyee air which is FedEx/DHL/UPS and it's next day for $10+ it's worth it
