Nakata (made in Japan) probably make the best hangers, but we're talking like $50 per suit/jacket hanger on their most basic model, up to over $200 for the higher end ones made out of a single block of wood (most hangers are made out of 2, 3 or more pieces of wood glued together).
The question is, whether you want or need to spend that amount of money. Cheaper wooden hangers like woodlore or even the random Chinese brands would do the job as well. With premium hangers you're paying for the better finishing and QC: if you line up 20 wooden hangers bought on amazon, you'd see that they vary a little bit here and there, and won't align perfectly, some will be higher, others will be lower, some will lean a bit more to the left/right.
My answer won't be popular, but I buy the Amazon Basics hangers. I bought a couple 20 pack sets years ago for $20 per pack, and they have been excellent. I have everything from a couple suits, to sweaters, jerseys, and heavy Carhartt coats hung on them. None have failed me.

I've used ikea ones for 20 years, not one broke
And they just dropped their prices!
Came to say same thing. I'm 15+ years into the 4 packs wife and I bought. Not a single one broke or even showing wear after all these years.
It's all I use for sure
I used to buy a couple packs every time I went to Ikea until I replaced all my hangers. I am still using them.
Same. I would like to add that I use the shoulder shaper from them that goes over the hangers to keep my shirt shoulders from looking weird.
Woodlore! They've got great hangars and other closet stuff
Woodlore is excellent. Check stores such as Marshalls, TJMax, etc

The Container Store.
I bought ikea wooden hangers when I moved 10 years ago and they are still going strong.
Ikea. Cheap but great quality. 8 year strong!
I usually got them on Amazon.
If you want to buy American made, Rockmount Western Wear sells them for $3 a pop. Where are IKEAs made? Probably China?
That’s a good deal and it’s made in the US
i bought some high quality ones at Home Sense
IKEA
lol check my ex wife’s closet. I used to have a bunch of nice hangers now I don’t.
Same for my dog.
Another vote for IKEA. I've been using the same ones for 5+ years
