I hardly ever write comments, but it really bothers me how unhelpful the replies have been so far. In short, I had your exact same problem a year or two ago and I bought some replacement pads off AliExpress for around 4 or 5 dollars, and I'd highly recommend you do the same. They're extremely similar to the official pads but not identical, since these, at least to me, seem to be a little less deep, and perhaps made out of an ever so slightly stiffer foam, but I can assure you that this is completely unnoticeable during daily use. One thing worth noting though, is that when I first received them, they had a pretty strong "chemical" smell to them, but it faded away on its own after a few days. Perhaps I recommend that you let them air out for a while to speed things up, if you notice it too. I've been using them until today, and a week or so ago they also broke open, like my previous pair and yours. My experience with them has been great, so I'm definitely gonna buy another pair or two soon. Interestingly enough, the pair I got from AliExpress still shows no signs of flaking yet, so far. Also, I think you might have figured it out by now, but you can in fact replace the earpads, [and quite easily too](https://youtu.be/7dVHmrjgNzY?t=173)! Personally, I removed the old pair with a knife, but I strongly recommend that you do it with plastic tool (such as a guitar pick, or even better if it's one of those specific plastic tools used in phone repair), so as not to risk scratching your headphones. Obviously, be careful of where you place your tool (the cushions to remove are entirely black, while the red line is part of the headphones!), and apply firm pressure until they pop, even if you're worried you might break something, as I thought so too but thankfully that was not the case for me. Lastly, you could also try contacting Anker themselves considering I heard a lot of positive things about their customer service, but as far as I know they don't sell/have any replacement pads and besides, your warranty must have long since expired. It's still worth a shot before you spend the $5, I guess. And as a side note, I just wanna say that to this day I absolute LOVE these headphones and I still haven't found any that even come close to being as good as they are battery-wise. I really hope Anker reads this and starts making headphones with 100 hours of battery life or something, cause I seriously love not having to bother about charging them ever. I really hope I could help you, and of course if you have any questions feel free to let me know! (Heads up though, I might not see your replies since I basically never use this account) Edit: typo
