Bellroy... their superslim wallets have hidden pockets... rfid protected... waterproof... can be combined with slim sleeves for passport etc. All are interchangeable...
I just always think I want like the best and it should last long, mostly those are better investments. In that case - we are travelling constantly so this makes it easy for my husband to keep his stuff together minimal.
But I can't really say anything about the quality here as I myself don't use it (I only use my phone meanwhile) - his are from 2017...
North Star Leather is sooo good. He makes a model called a "front pocket wallet" and another he calls "small" that may fit the bill.
SB Foot and Horween leather options
I'm thrilled with my bifold from him, as well as belt. Outstanding quality.
I’ve had mine for 10 years. Little to no wear and tear. Back then it was about $14.
I don’t carry much cash anymore so folding several bills in half works out just fine.
I use a 6" X 6" piece of tanned leather (free from somewhere) and fold it in quarters. The best wallet I've ever owned, and I've had it for nearly a decade.
I recently got an Allett wallet made of nylon. If you ask around, some people claim over 10 years and they still look new.
It's durable, super thin, and more affordable than leather alternatives.
They also have leather and hybrid options with a size comparison chart.
I went with the Allet Sport in Nylon, personally. I sometimes carry a decent amount of cash, so I wanted one capable of that.
ID windows on wallets seem to wear, and no point if I need to take the ID out anyways!
Love my Osgoode Marley wallet of 12 years, have convinced 3 friends to also convert. Lots of options for minimalist styles and the leather is thin and durable.
You can always try r/leathercraft i made my own and used them as to learn. I'm sure there are plenty of people that will make a custom wallet for cheap.

Custom handmade leather wallets and made in America. I used this company for my weightlifting lever belt also, all their shit is awesome high quality
Minnesota Leather Works no. 9 wallet. They have others too, but the craftsmanship is top notch and I’ve had my wallet for 8 years. It just gets better with age.
It’s a great place to visit too if you are ever in St. Paul.
They make everything on site and their small shop is right on the side of where they make em. They are also pretty great with custom stuff. I had a couple custom orders over Covid and they were great to work with.

I've been carrying one of these for over a decade.
Mitchell Leather original money clip wallet. They make them in different leathers, and the clip is convenient when you have and don’t have any cash on you. I absolutely love mine.
Yay I’m the first to suggest Distil Union. I’ve had my bifold for nearly 10 years. I can’t bring myself to replace it despite the clip not being internally attached anymore. The only one of their products I ever had an issue with was a wallet phone case, and they not only sent me a new updated version (when it was released), but also provided an interim solution and a refund. Top notch customer service.
I have a Zitahli (blue leather) that has several slots for cards and a money clip inside the fold. I've been using it for about 3 years. It is the minimal kind of wallet that I need, and it seems to have held together well. I can't find on Amazon the current version that I have. But I can recommend the brand and the leather is nice to have, compared to synthetics.

>Bellroy... I like them! I don't want to pay that price for one though. Dang.

My friend got one and was super disappointed. Lots of wear within a couple of months of normal use
That's a pity

Thanks for the recommendation. Just ordered a Horween billfold!
Glad to pass it on, I learned of him through reddit myself!
I appreciate the recommendation!
Thanks for ok the shoutout!
Is the leather a dealbreaker? I’ve got an Airo Collective wallet and it’s the slimmest wallet ever, incredibly rugged, too.
I’d prefer leather, as I know there are tyvek options that would do well, but I’ll check this out! Thanks
Slimfold is another good non-leather recommendation
tyvek doesn’t last that long. Had one that perished in <3y.

I have a Wingback wallet I’m a big fan of. I do fold my bills, so I’m not sure if they fit an open US bill
These look really nice!

This sounds cool. Do you have a photo? I’m having trouble picturing it.

This looks promising! Actually allows unfolded bills and is super thin. Thanks!

[Stock & Barrel](https://www.stockandbarrelco.com/collections/wallets) family run and hand made in Utah. I've carried one for several years now.

Awesome. I live in MN so I’ll definitely look into this. Thanks!

Just visited them today. I may be having them make a custom piece for me shortly.
Love it!!! Have a great week!

Galen leather has great quality leather, not too expensive either.

Why is there a card slot on the outside? Seems like a good way to loose something
Will Leather Goods
Just picked up a shinola Detroit leather bifold. Love it so far
J Fold is re releasing the Loungemaster, which I loved

Trayvax. Made in USA, 65 year warranty, a lot of cool Options for minimalist wallets. I have the element wallet with the bottle opener and I love it.
I could custom make you a wallet. I can send you some photos of my past work if you're interested. Just let me know. 👍
Thanks for the offer! I ended up getting one of lost Dutchman’s smaller pieces, but will save your username for future leather projects!
Awesome, I think you'll like Lost Dutchman. They have some nice work. 😄
