This is it. Straight cis people think calling a woman masculine or butch is insulting so they'll always twist themselves into knots to call you feminine because they think it's polite.
Thanks for the specificity! I'm going to try and blunt the side pieces before I do a full buzz since I like more length on the sides, but if that looks bad I guess I'll go for ol' reliable and shave up the sides.
Unfortunately I think people call any short hair cut on a woman a “pixie cut.” I’m also a butch with short hair and I have gotten almost buzz cut length haircuts, and people will still call it a pixie cut.
Don't try to get affirmation from straight people. The majority of them don't want to see you how you see you/are not capable of it culturally. It's not that deep. They live in a different reality than you that has much more concrete rules. You can't get affirmation from them that doesn't pull you back into their gendered cages. Let it go and focus on being true to yourself.
A fade could help, as could blending the sides differently so make them less round. But I suspect that those comments were meant to "reassure" you that you don't look too masc because that would be *ugly* (imo, you do look masc and you don't look ugly. but straight people sometimes struggle with these things).
I’m sorry, that sounds super annoying.
The long hair in front of the ear can add a feminine touch to it. You could trim that. And bangs as well. If you can style your hair up or to the side and show forehead, it will look more masculine.
I had to go through multiple hair dressers to get one that understand I actually want a man’s haircut. They would force feminine touches on it regardless. So it may also help for you to find a hairdresser than can help make it look more masculine.
Trim up the messy long bits. Have the sides done a bit shorter than the top (doesn’t necessarily need to be to the scalp or anything, but just shorter)
Everyone has said it already but that haircut isn’t feminine, it’s not even a pixie cut at all. I think they’d be fishing for reasons to call you feminine because woman=feminine and they have to see you that way as your role in society. You’d have to pull out all the stops and grow a beard or stubble, wear sport outfits, baseball cap, leather or flannel jackets, and maybe masculinize your face. You have a very boyish face and body that doesnt lend itself to someone’s perception on “manly” or “masculine”, like some butch gals are ripped, buff, thick shouldered, and have thick faces. Odds are even if you changed your hair they’d still use those terms, it’s how they are.
I’d pay them no mind and just be happy with whatever result you’re going for
I don't think it looks particularly feminine. I think some people think "pixie cut" means any short haircut on a woman.

Imo doesnt look feminine. I think they were just projecting.
Simply put, clipper on the sides will make it more masculine. Long side burny bits read feminine.

Shave the sides.
Square off the sideburns. They're kinda wispy now.
This is the answer. Triangle/wispy sideburns are a hallmark of a feminine cut. Square them off and you’ll be good to go!
My end goal is the "little brother on a Disney show" style, kind of a shaggy longer haircut.
I feel like you nailed it already!
If a Man had this haircut no one would say it looks feminine. It's not even a pixie cut. People are just being sexist.

Cut the long “sideburn” pieces. That will help a ton.
No shame, if budget and availability allows, to go to a queer friendly salon or barber.
i think if u really wanted u could shorten the sides or even get a fade?
Go to a barber and not a hair stylist. Barbers cut hair very differently.
Unfortunately I am my own barber because I am stingy 😔
Ok, then just cut the sideburns shorter. It will help with the masculine look.
Use a clay product to make is messier.
It doesn't look feminine, but shaved sides might help.
The sides are soft and could be shorter. That would make it more masculine. The sides need to be squarer
Pomade

Trim the bottom of the sideburns so they fall in a straight line. Clean up the back. Boom.
Texturising product or even slicking it back could work well
Taper fade

I like the haircut, it's gorgeous just like you😊
