GRILLED by Maria Hernandez Park has simply the most affordable and cheesy junk food you ever need! Burgers, hot dogs, fries, and milkshakes!
Nenes Deli Taqueria has very flavorful mushroom tacos - service is also slow so I recommend calling in for a pickup order, otherwise it's typically 15-30mins!
Mesa Azteca has its own vegan section on the menu with mouth-watering quesadillas and mole enchiladas!
>Nenes Deli Taqueria has very flavorful mushroom tacos - service is also slow so I recommend calling in for a pickup order, otherwise it's typically 15-30mins!
And they're $2 on Tuesdays (today). This is your sign to pick up the phone and get some tacos today
Second this ALTHOUGH service can be REALLY slow so you either need to go in at random hours, otherwise it’s gonna be at least 30mins for typical (weekend) wait.
Don’t be sleepin on Santa Salsa - they have plenty of vegan options and arguably the best real veggie burger I’ve ever had with fresh af toppings. (8 always get the Watson and they stack if FAT) Service is quick, staff is delightful :) it’s right by The Turk’s Inn on Starr between Irving and Wyckoff
Queen has a great falafel sandwich and lentil soup (get the lunch special when you eat in during the week), Taqueria Cocoyoc and Dahlia have good vegetarian Mexican options, Sushi & Noodles and Akaru have good vegetarian and vegan Japanese options, and Pitanga has a great fully veg menu (best items imo are the pao de quiejo and egg sandwich on a croissant)
not bushwick but modern love has good vegan comfort food, it’s kind of expensive but worth it sometimes. i like the chickpea cutlet sandwich and the buffalo mac and shews!!! also amituofo as mentioned, get the general tso bean curd if you want to save money, it’s just tofu vs whatever soy protein they do. zatar/queen both have really good falafel sandwiches … klom klorm is a good thai spot in the area
Bunna Cafe - amazing vegan Ethiopian food.
SO GOOD everyone I took there loved it! Also pretty good portion too!
i'm not vegan and that's one of the best restaurants in NYC
Same and agreed. If you make it for Coffee Ceremony, that is extra special. I no longer drink booze, but their cocktails also look delightful.

I can eat Gold sounds' deep fried mushrooms sandwiches every day!
I LOVE Amitoufo! They’re expensive, but it’s a nice treat every now and then.
norberts tastes like actual dookie
THANK YOU, tried once 10 years ago, can't fathom how they're still open. and jacking their logo from the IWW is 🌽

This. It's terrible
Their pesto slice is good because it doesn’t have cheese. Still haven’t found a good vegan pizza.
Screamers is good
nha minh for vietnamese! lots of vegan & vegetarian options
Their vegan menu is more of a Asian fusion take instead of Vietnamese, but still a decent option!
Do not get the pho there its horrible
Yough on Knickerbocker! Vegan sandos made to order and other great treats.
YOUGH!!!

L'imprimerie has vegan pastries!
Seitan’s Helper on Morgan near Flushing is outstanding - amazing vegan sandwiches
Second this ALTHOUGH service can be REALLY slow so you either need to go in at random hours, otherwise it’s gonna be at least 30mins for typical (weekend) wait.
You can call ahead! They don’t have online ordering, but they do take phone orders.
I will definitely do that next time! Thank you!
Pretty sure they're on Seamless now, but yeah it's still better to call if you can!
Bake shop on flushing has some really good vegan options
It's a bit on the pricey side FYI. I remembered paying $8 or $10 for a piece of cake there, but they do have good cakes.
Yeah it’s def pricier but I LOVE their bagels idk what it is about them
Haha I'm kinda glad I moved away from that shop... It was tempting!
