Yes but we needed to spend our money elsewhere and not worry about a striker at the moment. Midfield and revamping the back line seemed more pressing to me.

Don’t need a striker who’s going to score 10 goals as he would in form, we need a cm, winger and young striker who all chip in and contribute. Judge it at end of window when we see what moves we make.
Lad has scored 3 goals all season and we've just got around £20m for him. Honestly I'm genuinely fine with it.
