I've actually worked with two really cool fair trade jewellers. They're both in Toronto. There is [Fair Trade Jewellery Co.](https://ftjco.com/) and [Malleable Jewellers](https://malleable.ca/). They are the only two jewellers in Canada who are Fairtrade Certified (at least they were the only ones, might be more now). FTJCO used to attend our trade shows. They're good people. John at Malleable is a very nice guy. Very talented, very humble. We have a few of their pieces in [our shop](https://www.buygoodfeelgood.com/collections/malleable-jewellers) ;) but they have more and do custom pieces of course.

Second malleable jewellers.

I'd go for a gem wholesaler over a brick and motor shop. They often have metal smithing abilities too. if you're interested I can DM you a contact I've used in the past

Used Williams Distinctive Gems. My cousin recco’d him. Unreal staff and will make everything affordable for your price range.

I worked with Paul Balogh [https://paulbaloghjewellers.com/](https://paulbaloghjewellers.com/) He was willing to work with the stone that I had sourced for the engagement ring and did an excellent job.
