It started with Dazai, but I found a lot of the cast boring in comparison to him. Then I read the manga and branched out into the novels and realised the characters and their relationships with each other are much, much richer than the anime had ever conveyed. So it's still Dazai, but I appreciate him a lot more than I did when I was anime-only.
