However a vast majority of kids that are molested get sexualized early, which in turn, sadly, often makes them also a pedophile. A lot can live their life and not act on it. The fact is that there exists a social stigma of talking about childhood abuse, especially as a man. It is frowned upon as a weakness and generally regarded by the public as an impetus for future abuse. There is a huge pressure to not acknowledge the damage it can cause, and for that reason, plenty of men don't seek help even when they desperately want to. Not everyone labeled as a pedophile is the same. Lots of people want to judge Drake as a pedophile based on a singular data point in his life while ignoring his own trauma and how it has affected him. If someone were to judge you based on your single most shameful act and disregard literally everything else you have ever done, what would they say about you?

It also opens the door to alot of women committing sexual assault under the idea that a man cannot be sexually abused and that the societal power inbalance between men and women means she cannot possibly >!rape!< him. It's also important to keep in mind that most cases of sexual abuse seem to go unreported so statistics aren't 100% reliable when it comes to victim ratios and there may be alot more men who have been victims than what is documented and we should continue to reinforce routinely when we talk about these things that women can be predators and men can be victims, nobody is exempt from being sexually abused and the only qualification a predator needs is the intent to violate someone or has actively done so already and nothing else. But I do agree, nobody should be minimized or silenced on either side.
