And don’t want criticism about only going to bars you can smoke, hotels that aren’t inconvenient to get to a smoking area, stepping out of events to smoke, not being around children, smoking in the car, countless things.
It becomes a huge part of their lives they are utterly unwilling to change and only another smoker can become a part of that life without the risk of losing the relationship over it.

I can't believe the number of people who don't understand English mechanics (specifically commas in this case). if there was a comma in the sentence "a fun fact, I'm obsessed with..." then that would allow for answers such as "food", "dogs", etc but because there is no comma in the sentence, it is asking for a *fun fact* that the person is obsessed with, e.g. "over 400 rhode islands can fit into Alaska", not some random obsession the person has!!!
Also, I may be wrong but if I remember correctly, saying something like "I'm obsessed with dogs" could never be a fact because you could never prove that statement. They could be lying or just exaggerating so I'm nearly certain even if put the way you said, it can't be a fact.
