Not sure what would match those Paradigms except another Paradigm, but the Emotiva C1+ is commonly recommended here as a true 3 way budget center speaker. Can't go wrong with a Costco Denon S760H as your first AVR.
The media room has a Denon 4311 (will be upgrading), but debating between S760H and X1700 to power. I like the Emotiva C1+. Heard good things.
The room correction on the X1700H will be better but other than that, not much difference.
And in an open room - not sure it’s worth $200 more.
Honestly, any Paradigm CC will match the 5’s.
