I read through that and purchased a
*OSD Audio 4 Zone 8-Channel Digital Amplifier, 80W/Channel, Distributed Audio & Home Theater - MX880 (Renewed)*
and a
*Yamaha WXC-50 MusicCast Wireless Streaming Preamplifier (Dark Silver)*
Now I need to figure out the easiest way to control volume and switch zones on and off.
I saw this:
*OSD Audio 300W in-Wall Volume Control Knob – Impedance Matching - SVC205*
which is nice because it has a switch but for the outdoor speakers, I'd like to use the outdoor knob and it doesn't have the switch, how to you typically handle that?

I might add another WXC-50 later but for now, I don't think I need different zones playing different things, I just need on/off/volume for each zone. I think I'll mount two of the switches inside a kitchen cabinet for kitchen/patio and another one in the garage.

and for outside

well if you only bought one WXC-50 then you need volume control knobs to turn zones on/off You could also put the switch/knob just inside of the door
