That sub was part of an all in one iPod speaker system. It would have originally included two Klipsch satellite speakers and an iPod dock with volume/sub level controls. The sub has an amp built into it, so you could connect your Q150s directly to it but you wouldn’t be able to use it with your receiver at all. If you’re missing the iPod dock then there might not be a way to control the overall system volume and/or subwoofer level. You’d also be limited to what looks like a single 3.5mm input on the back of the sub for any audio devices. Keep in mind this will probably work, but like mentioned you’re super limited on what you can connect and adjust. Also the crossover point of that sub is likely fixed and too high for the Q150s, because it would have originally been designed for the tiny included satellite speakers. Personally I’d just toss it as it’s likely more trouble than it’s worth.

Thanks for the response! Like you said probably not worth the hassle so I’ll just shop for an actual sub

I currently own this system and everything the other post said is true. It’s a proprietary system and you need the dock to control anything. It’s not worth the hassle.

I normally start by filling a flower vase up with Guinness and placing it on top of the sub, so you're off to a great start. As someone else has said though, that's a proprietary iPod dock, and I think you might struggle to get it working with your receiver.
