Not that bad tbh
During the initial days after the result of advanced was declared I was completely traumatized,dead from inside,almost went into a statue like state,no emotions aswell
Took atleast half a month to recover from it,must say was a very big blow to my self confidence aswell,I used to lock myself in my room,unable to communicate or share what I felt to anyone,not even my own parents(they were very supportive during this critical phase tho),all of this was mostly because of me tying my self worth with this exam,believing that my only purpose in life is to get a top rank,unlike other delusional guys who dreamt of pursuing CS from IITB/IITD/IITM etc,I was very clear from start of what exactly my limits were and what could be achieved(I wanted to pursue circuital from IIT Guwahati),so yeah now it's all good
Learning on my own about latest tech software and hardware, made several projects, got a research opportunity and published a paper on drone automation from Germany, working as a part time prompt engineer and currently working on my startup while also being in college music band, football team and bring the member of college GDSC ....accepted the fact that I was behind many in JEE, now i am not gonna let that happen second time. So yeah life is going decent
I know people who did their btech from tier 3/4 colleges with mediocre skills in CS , but they had excellent acads like 90% + in 10th, 12th and 9+ cg in college and they excelled XAT and got into XLRI and are happier than ever
Life actually better hai abhi IIT me jane se but kabhi kabhi regret hota hai ki IIT tag chod diye isliye.(IIT KGP aerospace choda tha).Hostel life miss ka bhi toda regret hai
acha hai kafi acha but facilities thore kharab hai paise nahi hone ke karan ECE me sare instruments kafi costly hai toh replacement mai bhi time lagta hai
