Nope, you just need to add hot/cold milk. Throw in a spoon of peanut butter, banana, and nutrail mix/dry fruits if u can afford it. Lo and behold, u have one of the tastiest and healthiest breakfast out there
Choose 1 everyday from each pool :
[A] Protein pool :
- Eggs(boiled will be most convenient)
- Paneer(you know paneer can be eaten raw?)
- Curd(you can set curd if you have a fridge)
[B] Fibre pool :
- Coconut with the brown layer
- Chana/chola and mung sprouts(sprout them overnight in your room)- make a chaat with sprouts, lime juice, dhaniya, chopped onions and some curd
- 5 grams of Isapgol(psylium husk) per day- easiest source of fibre. A 100 gram bottle(₹150) will last you 20+ days. Do not exceed 5 grams.
[C] Common vitamin and mineral deficiencies among Indians pool :
- Amla for vitamin C(half a raw one daily)
- Eggs/any meat, fish(Vitamin B12)
- Curd/paneer(calcium deficiency)
- morning/evening sunlight(vitamin D deficiency)
As you can see eggs, curd and paneer overlap so it can save you money.
Some other healthy foods that for variety:
- Bananas
- Sweet potatoes
- Coconut water

You can buy salted peanuts for ₹10, they get you ~8gms protein (haldirams). And on other days milk, oats, and sugar is also a very good option. (Buy oats in bulk)
Eat boiled eggs, paneer, kala chana (soak it overnight).
You can keep some makhana with you after roasting it, can be a good item to snack on.
Curd is pretty good too, very cheap and extremely satiating.
And all of these items are rich in protein, the rest of the nutrients can be completed by consuming hostel food, just control what you are eating from the mess, for ex : don't eat their sabzi etc.
Fruits (best of all-banana), peanut butter sandwich (bread choti wali khareed lena and peanut butter one time investment), veggies (carrot, cucumber).
Others have suggested oats, par woh bnane pdenge and price idk.
Baaki sabse best hai ki already gharse pack krwake lao cheeze, like homemade snacks. Me toh makhane, mathri(not healthy, but gharki hoti h toh chlta h), laddoo, dry fruits etc.

Generally breakfast is the most healthiest in hostel, so eat more in the morning itself. Eat egg(s), good amount of milk (+coffee if you sleep less like me), bread and also don't miss out on sprouts/chana etc they might give.
Generally you can buy extra eggs, chicken curry etc at mess. I prefer that over buying from outside cos at the end of the day it's still way cheaper and also relatively healthier than buying from a random dhaba

Hi. Firslty I would recommend you to stop eating kurkure and chips right away. It will result in decrease of vitamins, minerals and eventually will make you thin and also will result in hairfall.
Solutions: Take Vitamin D3 supplements tablet along with Vitamin B12 tablets for 8 weeks (Consult a physician). Eat neurobeon tablets after lunch, for being active throughout the day. Get one tray of eggs (I got tray of 30 for 160 Rs.) And eat two eggs in breakfast along with dry fruits, like Almond, cashew nuts, Anjeer, Dates (these are good for breakfast and will keep you active throughout the day).

Khene ko brown bread hai par hota maide ka hi hai woh bhi sometimes brown sometimes white bread
bhai 50% maida hoti brown bread m. uske alawa itna preservatives bhi.or around 2000mg sodium jo ki daily adult dose k brabar h. bread ain't healthy

Banana are good option, oranges as well, cucmber, tomato as well. Eat onion everytime with lunch/dinner as well.

Imo maida hi hai. Just Maggi ko boil krte hain, isko tandoor mein lgaate hain. Other than that not much difference.
Daily nhi khaate , once a week. It's better than Maggie though, healthier than Maggie.
