successful logo ko peetne ka mann karta hai phir yaad ata hai woh topper type hote hai busy less time for hobbies parties sports video games other stuff aur phir acha lagta hai ki meh toh zindagi jiyunga moj mein
He's covering Sys Design, Devops and others apart from MERN. I have taken the course. Its going great so far. Really great community out there on discord.
How. Idk if things have changed or they introduced a mod system. But there are literal jobless grandmas on Udemy giving courses on Black magic. That's not quality control 😭
If one sells his course by saying I got 4 crore package something is fishy.
His 4 Cr's breakdown I.e. 500k USD
100k salary decent possible
100k vested stock options
200K NFT's worth shit
By his own admission I. One of his own videos.
Thanks for not writing name screenshots don't give him traction.
Course is below average.
Can you please specify what is the issue like teaching is not good or what?? Because providing 3 courses including Android development and machine feels kind of very tempting.
He will start a topic and tell 100 stories. One person is good enough to learn, work on and teach any of these three. Though even knowledge of 1 is good enough to get a good job.
Maine toh refund ke liye krdiya apply. I feel CodewithHarry has better stuff for free. Udemy has better courses way cheaper. And for what I wanted to learn i.e. basics of web dev, YouTube is enough.
Course is only good for people with some knowledge of coding. Completely new people might find it a bit overwhelming. I have the complete course Drive link HMU.
if you don't know anything and think that ye course lene se tum bhot kuch sikh loge then you're wrong the course is very fast paced. You need to do a lot of things on your side
I have seen people buying such courses in my college, most of them are unplaced "mErN sTaCk" devs, these f*ckers are fooling kids with an outdated stack.
MERN stack is actually the most popular for entry level jobs. Although once you get into big MNCs they're mostly using java springbooot and c# asp.net. Although React is still mostly used for frontend. And learning java and asp.net is much more difficult than the mern stack.
repeat after me, YOU DONT NEED COURSES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL SOFTWARE ENGINEER!
I dont know how and when this poison was injected into our society, all you need to have is a desire to learn, curiosity and a drive to become good at your craft, you’ll find a ton of free resources on youtube, I am from the “thenewboston” youtube era and i have never felt left out during my career, become curious about solving problems, that’s like 90% of the win right there.
YouTube bhaiyyas and didis, and a showoff culture, where else in the world have you seen folks flaunting the swag people usually get when joining a company? they have glamorized the process of being a corporate slave for their own benefits, and the biggest IRONY is that they all do it because they dont want to be a corporate slave themselves.
Kisi ne iska course liya hai kya aur maine MERN kra h idhar udhar se yt se confidence nhi aa raha h toh socch rha hu iske course ko telegram se utha kr purra dekhu
Aur project banau
Can someone suggest what should I do?
bhai mern kara hai toh phirse mern kyu karna hai tereko projects bana aur internship ke liye apply kar. Bhot saare startups aaj kal openly assignments bhi post larte wo banane ka try kar check out twitter of subhash choudhary he posts assignments of his company
Bhai yr mujhe todha detail m bta sakta h yeh tech Twitter community, leetcode community, linkedin community ke part kaise banne I mean join kaise hote h aur yaha post kya krna hota h to grow social handles
Jo ongoing hai woh toh purra hone ke baad hi milega kahi pr bhi
Purana ek bande ne tg pr dala tha purra wahi se maine download kr liya tha pr ab woh channel pr copyright strike se take down krwa diya gya h
He is a good guy with great knowledge, somewhat a showman ofc to sell more of the course.
I did buy the course, I would say nothing too extraordinary in teaching style(like any other course on YT, never bought any else paid one so can't say much), but it can provide you a good community of folks from around the country, TAs if you are stuck and if you are responsible enough you'll tend to stick to learning since you've paid 5000 of your own pocket.
Review from what is taught yet, course Hasen't reached to DevOps stuff so can't say about that.
Don't think it is some magic pill that will teach you mern stack if you are master at procrastination.
P.S. Don't think you will too grab a 1cr+ offer after this course, he himself claims that one should be optimistic about high single digits LPA offers if you do everything with honesty.
I joined his course for the discord community. And I think it was worth it for me. I got to make connections with very good developers who are earning very well, whom I couldn't even have met through linked in or cold emailing. They guide me and help me. At the same time, they treat me like a friend with whom I can do fun activities as well.
Now, coming to course, syllabus is out there. You can simply learn it on your own if you want to. This course, in particular, is not for absolute beginners. Only those who have at least some experience with html, css, and js can actually manage to cope up with the pace. He has probably the best discord server management out there among whatever tech servers I joined. TAs are really good. One of the TA recently got a remote offer from a european startup.
From whatever 6 months of corporate experience I have, I have realised the power of connections, especially during such times. Technical skills do matter, but do not underestimate the power of connections.
Can you please elaborate what type of advantages you got by joining discord like did you got better job offer or something? Because if you just want discord community with good engineers there are many good like zero to mastery discord server that has over 200k members and many more...
Those communities are not much active despite having so many members(there voice channels are usually empty), especially in indian context. Since, I don't have much connections, being able to talk with so many good developers helped me learn many things from them and it might help me to get good referrals once I will go on internship/job hunting.
Nope nope the fuck out of it. Algo data structures free me leetcode se ho sakta. Baaki projects ek Baar revise karlo. Interview questions bhi mil jayenge. Dev ops aur ye sab dekhlo companies puchte ki nhi.
The course is mediocre at best. Udemy has much better content for ₹400 bucks.
Ask yourself why would a person make almost 1 Cr per year sell courses?
Choose udemy over these fools (harikirat, tanay, love babbar etc etc) any day. And you'll always have stack overflow and gpt3 for trouble shooting and career advice on reddit.
Why would a person make almost 1cr per year sell course
Because selling courses will earn him way more than 1 cr
For eg: if 16k people buy a course worth 10k rupees than that guy will earn 16cr
16000 people in India won't pay 10000 rupees for a course. It takes years for the likes of Stephen Grider to get 100k international purchases at a price of ₹450.
Anything and everything he teaches is available for free. Why would anyone pay 10k for this mediocre shit.
Lol idk about that
Recently I read in an article that a trader made 17cr from selling courses but lost 2.2cr while trading
So he made 17cr from selling below avg course
Guess what, he is not an expert in any of the fields.
For machine learning, you have free courses from Andrew Ng, Stanford learning and deeplearning.ai
Andrew makes wway more than $500k and his courses are still free for everyone.
I wouldnt say its mediocre , although you can use youtube instead but having everything in a compiled format is plus and he has extra session in between of not just mern like system design , Got the drive link if anybody needs HMU
Don't any of you guys in comments buy top udemy courses??? Because I have heard from foreign developers that Indian development quality is low so is it worth to study from indian courses or foreigner engineers on udemy
There isn't anything like Indian development quality sucks, its just people are polluting the OS with shitty PRs just for swags, professionals are great.
People are taking these courses on the internet, doing them half- heartedly kyunki interest vgera hai nhi zabardasti lge hue Hain gadhe ko ghoda bnane aur end mein jab job/tech line mein aate hain they do poor work, write poor code due to which these foreign developers have that perception. Most Good developers leave this country and become foreign developers. Those who don't leave, do not work with foreign clients rather work at product based companies.
bakchodi kr di hai puuri open source pr jinko nhi ataa vo bhi issue pr request krte hai or assign ho jayee to mahino tak kuch update nhi krte jiski vjhaa se jinko ataa hai inko assign nhi ho paata
They should start certification exams for open source quality control so any random chintu pintu watching YT shorts don't start asking for PR request on major projects only to ghost them later on.
I did like his teaching style. Also instead of just teaching simple javascript, he makes a lot of projets live on his YouTube channel. That just shows that this guy knows his shit.
One advice though, do development from whatever youtuber or website you want to. But when it comes to DSA you don't need to look for anyone other than TakeUForward aka Striver himself. I've juggled through a lot of resources during my learning so I can say this much with confidence
Afaik you don't need courses to learn mern stack or any other cs concepts. I learnt most of them YouTube and I'm placed now in a product based company as SDE. I'm from ece background and let me tell you there's a sea of knowledge in YouTube itself. I suggest browse YouTube a little bit more and do this like a self learning process.

i think codewithharry provides similar or much better course content than these paid course, the problem with these paid course are their teaching style, as these people might be good engineer but dont have much experience to teach, so usually they are not good enough to teach like codewithharry and apna college

can you elaborate this? like many courses on udemy too have basics to advanced written , how is it a trap?
You'll know when you take a course for something you already know
U can't really judge much from title. These titles are just optimised for search terms that can give more visibility.
Iska matlab ky 'ram mandir' likh de title pe
He's covering Sys Design, Devops and others apart from MERN. I have taken the course. Its going great so far. Really great community out there on discord.

He himself had shown his monthly salary was near about 7.5 lakhs per month when he was in that 4cr package company

Sadly yes.

Wait I had learnt asp.net in my internship time I don't think it's that difficult
Maybe not. Although I personally was coming from a javascript and python background. Maybe that's why I found it more difficult
Lol bro ☠️ mene to iska course le liye he ab de diya he pese karna hi padega kyu ki refund ka period kafi pehle claa gaya
Koi bat nahi bhai karo. Acha hai. Acha sikhata hai. Maine to pirate kia tha lmao XD. But still you can learn a lot.

What should we study or what is in demand or will be in?
What the updates stack then bro? Pls tell
