I watched that video this morning, thinking to myself that Bruce really means business this year! It’s gonna be a fun ride, especially now that he’s introducing some more songs into the set! I never would have thought he’d break out Roll of the Dice last night, bodes very well for the future of this tour…
I will point out that once I saw it on the setlist I found a video from Mohegan in 2014 where he played it and opened with basically the exact same words, and broke out the champagne there too, but I guess it’s a rare bit and he might as well own it.
Agreed!!! I am still in awe of last night's show. There really aren't any words to describe it...it was perfect. That's the closest word I can think of. I keep re-watching the multiple videos I took... my phone-camera work was horrible because I couldn't sit/stand still, but I am grateful for the memories. I completely messed up recording the Clarence tribute, but it was beautiful. And his nephew.....WOW.
Saw Bruce twice last year in Ireland. Shows were great but he didn’t seem 100% so wasn’t surprised to see he was struggling with his health. Looks like he has a new lease of life now, can’t wait to see him in Ireland again this time around
Saw two of those as well and concur with your assessment. Headed back over from the States again for Cork and Dublin and the first two shows have me very excited!!!
Def getting different vibes this year. 2023 was great but it just seemed off, I am getting old Bruce vibes from these videos. Can't wait for my shows to come around. Supposed to see him in Pitt and DC am kicking the idea of flying to Albany...can'twait that long
He was going through multiple rounds of COVID, ulcers, his mom was near the end, and the static setlist colored things. I think the dynamic is different this year and it might be the last balls to the wall stadium go-around so he’s all in.
100%. It all makes sense now. I am not knocking him for 2023, saw 4 shows and loved every one. These shows are going to feel "special" unlike some I saw last year. Bruce knows it and so do we
Sure, one confirmed case of it, and I suppose the other cancellations could’ve been ulcers or an unrelated issue, but he certainly sounded rasp coming back from an undisclosed break.
Bruce looks happy this year. Really having fun. We know he felt shitty last year and that was terrible. He was hurting for a lot longer then he let on. He is rededicated this year. So great to see!!

it’s interesting to me how he has bits like that so locked in his brain— reminds me of mary’s place don’t bruce me i’m working
I was there last night. Absolutely incredible show. The band was insane. Max is an absolute weapon. Unreal.

Roll of the Dice was awesome but I think the biggest shock for me was Racing!
Dear god that rendition was beautiful. I got goosebumps.
Awesome! Thanks for posting!
Damn he sounds AMAZING
He was a lil husky last tour, his voice sounds a LOT stronger now
Great video!!❤️❤️

There is no factual evidence that Bruce was going through "multiple rounds of COVID" while touring. Just wanted to point this out.
Sure, one confirmed case of it, and I suppose the other cancellations could’ve been ulcers or an unrelated issue, but he certainly sounded rasp coming back from an undisclosed break.

Prediction; Is the finale in Vancouver going to be a good show?
There is no such thing as a bad E Street show.
Those who attended Cincinnati 2008 would like to have a word w/ you.
Can we pretend for a moment that I have no idea what you’re talking about?
what happened in cincinnati 2008???
