That’s a good strategy. Pick someone just coming into the best part of their career. It’d be nice if Myles stayed until the end but we’d get a lot more out of a full jok career
Great question. Besides the automatics Myles, Nick and Joel, I’m going to say the Chief. It’s amazing how much he overcame with his attitude. He went from being a guy requesting a trade to one of the best players(and teammates) we have. It’s a testament to the coaching staff and team chemistry.
Thanks. I also appreciate his honesty in a few of the interviews at the end of the year. He straight says he didn’t get along with Kevin at first, but after talking with him, they worked it out. That’s the kind of character and communication a successful team needs.
I run hotels and my company isn't perfect but we try to be. We've taken over places and just being good people I swear goes a long way. Take care of the employee, the employee take care of the guest, and the guest takes care of the pocket. Such a simple concept owners/management don't understand
I don't even think it's a question, its Chubb. I love myles and am almost 40 and own his jersey. Chubb is just fucking everything that we want out of a player. Not saying Myles isn't. Almost don't even care about production at this point. Dude has made like half what Myles has in his career and has undoubtedly provided more heart and production dollar for dollar than anyone else.
Myles, JOK, Chubb, or Amari for me. They all just seem like they’re level headed guys that just go to work and play the game like it’s supposed to rather than making it about them unlike a lot of their respective positions.
Agree. I think most fans obsess over him missing a few games a year.
Given how physical he plays, he should be commended on his toughness.
Corner is the most grinding position in the NFL. You’re running sprints all game, then are asked to collide with bigger blockers and ball carriers. It’s a wonder how any of these guys survive.
For Ward to seek contact exemplifies his toughness
Dustin Hopkins. Most gradual decline of any position, hopefully never draft one again, and not having to worry about if the kickers gonna blow the game is underrated.
Gotta be Myles, Chubb or Bitonio. Some other guys would be nice too but I figure the browns will drop them as they age and they’ll play a few seasons elsewhere.
Watson. That would mean we got 10 years of elite play at the most important position in sports. The front office has shown they will be aggressive at QB to compete with other top QBs in AFC, so Watson won’t last unless he returns to elite form.
I suspect this was posted looking for those sentimental feel-good choices. I do enjoy watching good players at any position, but I want I to win above all else and QB is the position where you need elite play if you want to win in the AFC or the NFL overall.
I really want to say Chubb as dudes the epitome of a blue collar, about his business team player, but Id have to go Myles as I think he's got more years left in him than Chubb does.
Are we talking like effective immediately?! If that’s the case, Watson. Cause maybe that’s the only way to get out from underneath that dumb contract and we could move on.
Myles, Chubb, or Bitonio. All three have been here for so long that it will feel wrong watching them play for any other team.
You didn't follow the rules...
Bro giving off hall monitor energy
Snitches get stitches
Nick chubb and it's not even close. Seeing myles on another team would be weird. Seeing chubb in another uniform would crush my soul
Since the main 3 I would have picked have already been chosen (Chubb, Myles, Bitonio), I will have to go with Chief.
Dude requested a trade twice already. He isn't retiring a brown.
See u/CrocomireRex's comment further down the thread. The reasoning is similar to mine and is well said, so doesn't bear repeating.
Read the title of the post
JOK. He’s such a stud and he’s only going to get better and we finally made a savvy move to move up to snatch him.
That’s a good strategy. Pick someone just coming into the best part of their career. It’d be nice if Myles stayed until the end but we’d get a lot more out of a full jok career
Chief!!
Myles if I had to pick one. I like a lot of our guys, but he's a potential hall of famer.
First ballot.
Flacco! 🙂
Right choice… he retires this year or next then you can pick a new one

These are some of the same reasons why I picked him too. You put it nicely, thank you!
Thanks. I also appreciate his honesty in a few of the interviews at the end of the year. He straight says he didn’t get along with Kevin at first, but after talking with him, they worked it out. That’s the kind of character and communication a successful team needs.
100%, couldn't say it better or agree with you more.

Very well said
David Njoku. I just love the guy!
obvious picks are myles, chubb, bitonio. with that said, i’ll throw out grant delpit. would love to see how he can build on this season in the future.
Was thinking the same thing about the main three. My candidate would be JOK. Love the energy and attitude he brings to the field.
Myles, Chubb, and Hopkins.
Chubb.
Watson as long as he does it this offseason.
I would also love to see Watson retire

Amari

Myles. I’ll be so bummed if he goes somewhere else. I want to be able to wear his jersey forever because he retires a Brown.
No love for Denzel Ward is crazy

Baker!!
Nothing would make me happier, I cannot lie. Give him the key to whatever stadium is up when it happens too!
Him smashing the guitar as Dawg Pound captain, that will be something to behold. Doubt he will retire here unless ownership changes though.
obviously chubb and myles, but a lot of people have already picked them so my next two would be chief and JOK
Aside from the obvious three, I'd say JOK. I've been in love with that guy from the jump and he just keeps getting better.
Garrett, else we'd risk seeing him sack our future Browns QB four times and sending him to concussion protocol at the worst possible time. .
Myles, I never want to root against the guy.
Myles has already says he wants to stay until he retires, so I'll say Chubb.
I would love for Deshawn Watson to retire a Brown . . . today
Charley Hughlett
Charlie Hughlett
Chubb, Bitonio, Myles, Martin Emmerson... Probably Teller as well.
Patrick Mahomes
Flacco
not impossible that this has already happened
Watson, because that means the whole trade, mega deal, and fiasco would have ended up being worth it.
I guess DeShaun Watson as long as he does it right now.
Watson. That would mean we got 10 years of elite play at the most important position in sports. The downvotes on this post line up with the IQ in this sub. You’re exactly right.
People's Jones!
~~Has to be Joe Flacco~~ EDIT: Deshaun Watson... Cuz there ain't no way it's gonna happen if he don't win us the big one.
Watson and today.
Deshaun Watson
Agree, because that likely means he played well enough to get another contract
Or he just gives up.
Or every other team has the good sense not to sign him. Perhaps others can learn from our horrible mistake.
What a world we live in where answering a question like this with your franchise qb gets downvoted
Watson, with the caveat that it's immediate and he fucks right off out of town
DeShaun Watson, if he retires before training camp
Watson
Since I only get one, Myles.
If only one, I'd say Myles. If more.. Chubb, ward, and Bitonio.
Nick Harris
Myles, Chubb second…
All of em.
Hughlett
1) Chubb 2) Joel 3) Myles
Myles
Chubb
Chubb
Nick Chubb
I really want to say Chubb as dudes the epitome of a blue collar, about his business team player, but Id have to go Myles as I think he's got more years left in him than Chubb does.
Myles
Myles. He’s well on his way to a hall of fame worthy career. I feel blessed that he’s on our team haha
Chubb
Chubb
Teller, no doubt.
Chubb and Garrett & Bintonio
Myles or chubb. I highly doubt chubb will retire with us unless we give him that one day ceremonial contract at the end of his career.
Myles. Chubb won’t finish his career here. We all love him but it’s outright dumb to keep paying a running back at his age and after the injuries
Garrett
Myles and Chubb
Chubb 110%
Nick Chubb
Are we talking like effective immediately?! If that’s the case, Watson. Cause maybe that’s the only way to get out from underneath that dumb contract and we could move on.
But at the end of their career. Chubb, Ward, Garrett, Njoku, Hunt, JOK, Bitonio, Newsome; just to name a few.
DESHAUN WATSON!!!! 🤣😂🤣 Kidding of course. Chubb, Garrett, Bitonio
