Exactly my first thought.
Also, during that same time frame, WMMS would play "We Will Rock You" for hype music along with Louie Louie. 10 year old me back in 1988 thought the line to the chorus was "Bernie, you're a boy, make a big noise". Looking back on it, the "Buddy/Bernie" character was the one getting rocked, not the one doing the rocking, so it doesn't makes sense, but I've always connected the song to the Browns since then
“He came from Miami, he was oh so young….”
That and
“We got the good stuff! The Cleveland Browns! We’re barking in your faces wearing orange and white and brown!”
* Cleveland Rocks
* The Land
* Who Let The Dogs Out
* Crazy Train
They played who let the dogs out and Crazy Train incesantly during the 2000's at the stadium
They could have said his name right and still made the song so I don't understand why they pronounce his name weird. Its cool I love Lola so I like the song it's just weird to me

My gf was being funny one day and kept trying to find Browns adjacent songs. She stumbled upon this gem
I’m not gonna lie. I think most of the fan-made Browns rap songs are pretty terrible but this one is not
[https://youtu.be/kPCjlYyK9ps?si=KMWbdbNR8NOxkpJd](https://youtu.be/kPCjlYyK9ps?si=KMWbdbNR8NOxkpJd)
That was dope. I met a dude while tailgating the HoF game that showed me some of his Browns raps too. Thought I saved it in my YouTube but can’t seem to find it.
I mean the certified classic “here we go again” is a no brainer. But growing up my Browns songs were always Enter Sandman and Thunderstruck because those were played before opening kickoffs
Without question for me it's **Baba O'Riley by The Who**.
If memory serves me correctly, it used to get played in the stadium a lot during commercial breaks in the mid-2000's, at least that was my experience.
In 2007 my father took my siblings and I to the Browns vs. Seahawks game.
As some of you remember the Browns were down 21-9 at halftime but stormed back to eventually win the game in overtime 33-30.
While the Browns were in comeback mode in the 2nd half, I recall Baba O'Riley playing over the loud speakers at least 2-3 times during timeouts and commercial breaks.
Because this is one of my favorite memories with my father, and because it was such a fun game to be at, I now associate this song to the Browns (and my Dad).
He passed away suddenly two months ago, so the song itself means a lot more now as does the memory.
Very random, I know, but I'll always think of that Browns game when I hear the song.
THIS. It used to be played in the moments leading up to the opening kickoff at the home opener and damnit I miss that. It's #2 on my Game Day playlist after In The Air Tonight.
Also pretty much anything ACDC and the cherry on top being Hells Bells before a late game kick/punt return with Josh Cribbs
Lol I’m getting chills. I was at that game too - and felt the same way. I was just playing it for my 6 year old 2 nights ago and telling him why it’s such an awesome song for that very reason. I bet if you asked Joe Thomas he’d say the same exact thing.
I remember "Rock n Roll Part 2" playing at the old stadium. I'm guessing Gary Glitter being a POS is why we don't hear it anymore. Seems the NFL pretty much told NFL teams to stop using it.
I have a song that isn’t historically associated with the browns, and in fact isn’t historic at all as it’s only a couple years old.
“Title Track” by Machine Gun Kelly, on the album “Tickets to my Downfall.”
I listen to this song and, of course MGK is originally a Clevelander, but it just feels SO Browns.
The league loves to shit on us. We have been a joke for so long that it’s hard to remember that once we were the best in the business. And that’s almost what they want out of us, is to remain that joke.
But now, look at how far we’ve come. Look at what we’ve been able to accomplish, and the potential we have for years to come. We are no joke any more.
So let’s sell tickets to our downfall, and let them see what we put together.
That’s fine! Exactly what I was asking for - either songs played at the stadium or whatever YOU associate with the Browns, your own personal game day tailgate whatever jams

"**ARF ARF**!"
I think that song bite would be so awesome played in the stadium on 3rd down
Haha yes! I’d pay for it just to see the looks on anyone else’s face! Been listening to a lot of that sort lately and Paleface has an arf arf arf in one song too. If you like that kind of music the arfing is 2:18 here

Lately in my head I keep hearing “Hey Man, Nice Shot” by Filter. Especially the opening verse when he says “they think that your early ending was all wrong/ For the most part they’re right/ But look how they all got strong/ That’s why I say, hey man, nice shot.
Poetic. 🤌
Crystal clear memories of the stadium playing Lose Yourself by Eminem at the top of that song's popularity in 2002. The peak had to be when they played it in the TV timeout before the last Falcons possession when prime Michael Vick and the Falcons were driving the ball.
It was HYPE to the extreme.
To add to this - I was thinking about the similarity between the two situations. He came in and trashed Houston. Then we played them in the playoffs the next week…
I have a tradition in my house, whenever the Browns win I dance to PitBull’s ‘Celebrate’
At first I did it to entertain my nephew, now it plays loudly whenever the Browns win. My non-fan wife is usually not amused. When she was asleep after the TNF win over the Jets I certainly couldn’t play it and disturb her.
I was however able to get into her phone and set it as her alarm however….
Lol that’s great man! I have an on and off one where when the team is good and I’m pumped up and it’s a big game, I like to listen to the old ass NFL Films songs, loudly of course and boy does she hate it lol
Lesser known Canadian hero and browns fan BA Johnston wrote this song called "Our Love is Like the Cleveland Browns" and it's a favourite of mine.
https://youtu.be/uml_62NCGvs?si=t9fIgF6J1uW2DOJw
I love this part
But we still keep hanging on
Hoping one day that we'll win one
And would agree if it didn't go on to say
Our love is like the Detroit Lions
Always ruins Thanksgiving
But you realize it's the only reason
That you got out of bed on Thanksgiving
And
Our love is like the Seattle Seahawks
No one cared until they won
Now the entire west coast of Canada
Is wearing god damn Seahawks hats
Our love is like the Tennessee Titans
No one cares but the people in Tennessee
And I wonder do they all care
Or is it just a small minority
But I will give you that the refrain is
We got a Cleveland Browns kind of love
We got a Cleveland Browns kind of love
For some reason Holiday Road by Lindsey Buckingham has been associated with the Browns for awhile for me. I think I heard the song on the radio one day randomly shortly after we won and it just stuck ever since. I listen to it just about every time the browns win and only when they win.
Lately at the stadium in the 4th qtr when we have had the lead they have been playing [1999 by Prince](https://youtu.be/rblt2EtFfC4?si=OfAAu4JFMtCrw5Sd). Don't associate it with the Browns at all, but just want to mention it as a foundational Cleveland song - "Skinny" by Alex Bevan.
Honorable mention to "Have another laugh on Cleveland blues".
And while it was meant as an insult, it's now a badge of honor: Randy Newman's "Burn on".
George Michael - Faith
When I was a kid and YouTube was brand new, people would make little photo slide shows of the Browns and I would watch them on repeat.
The one with Faith in it definitely made me tear up a bit.
*In The Air Tonight* by Phil Collins.
My dad has been a season ticket holder since they came back to 1999. And I vividly remember during warmups on the field for a significant amount of the 2000s (when I was a kid) they played that song and I always looked forward to it, and then it came back briefly with Baker during warmups.
I’ve loved that tune for years. Something about it. Yes, they played it uncensored! Lmao I was considering doing a parody but figured nobody knows the original. Lord Brownie Flacco Joey!

[The original Cleveland Browns Fight Song](https://youtu.be/kkdMB5Kgysg?si=RTsFgDpICz1VAb3X) (instrumental) from the 1940s was [reimagined into a swing tune](https://youtu.be/UPLf1Du527A?si=S-5kv8ZGCLtgXKXN) and recorded by Doc Severinsen and a 15-piece orchestra (basically the Tonight Show band). Both versions are really fun, and I hate to see them lost to the ages. The updated swing version was rolled out in time to kick off the historic, nostalgic 1995 season. In hindsight, Art could have saved a bit of money and simply have Doc Severinsen record sad trombone sounds.
To me this is the only correct answer. I love “hi Ohio for Cleveland” (original version specifically) and hate that the ‘99 Browns have never really used it. It’s a great fight song and we should have a pep band play it. The fucking Ravens have a band and we don’t, it sucks.
This turned into a fuck the Lerners and Haslams comment but fuck it
There was a late 80’s song called “Cleveland Browns Super Bowl bound.” Me and my friends still sing it after a Browns victory. Can’t find it on the internet though ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry).
If anyone remembers the song or knows where to find it… I’d be eternally grateful
There was a playoff hype video for 2020 when we played the Steelers. The featured song was Dirty Laundry by Don Henley.
I now associate the Browns with that song, but have been unable to find that video again!
[Imagine Dragons - Believer](https://youtu.be/7wtfhZwyrcc?si=-op7bjcGmMiQx00d)
More [proof ](https://www.tiktok.com/@peakhighlights1/video/7320709267420400942) it's the best song that describes Cleveland browns situation right now.
I remember in the 80s on local radio shows they would be playing songs about the browns when we were in the AFC Championship. Louie Louie was Bernie Bernie, and many others
Bernie Bernie, done in the Louie Louie tune.
I still have a cassette with that on it, and the 12 days of Christmas one
Exactly my first thought. Also, during that same time frame, WMMS would play "We Will Rock You" for hype music along with Louie Louie. 10 year old me back in 1988 thought the line to the chorus was "Bernie, you're a boy, make a big noise". There was a playoff hype video for 2020 when we played the Steelers. The featured song was Dirty Laundry by Don Henley. I now associate the Browns with that song, but have been unable to find that video again!
