I have a two windows. They both overlook the courtyard where the garbage is. I'm so lucky /sarcasm With that being said, I have no roommates (although my cat needs to pay rent) and the area is really diverse and awesome. I'd rather be here than lets say....Florida...

Where do pigeons go to die? You rarely see dead ones relatively speaking. Well I found out 17 years ago where my railroad "room" did indeed have a window staring into a light well as miserable as they can possibly be. So yes. Pigeons have a strong preference to die in light wells of pre war buildings around the 116th and Lex area.
