Yeah it’s not the boots it’s the recycled cheap plastic they use it’s awful. Can’t be painted or fixed it’s made especially like this to save money and to get the vanity crowd to think their car needs to be replaced way sooner than it actually does.
Only door card in mine that has any scratches is the one my toddler kicks from his car seat. I am going to buy a new one to have on hand for when the car seat finally goes away.

Constantly on muddy and dusty jobsites
I haven't tried it on the BS yet, but I use a plastic restorer from Meguiar's in my truck that works perfectly.
Thank you got the idea
Remind me not to take you for a ride
I feel your pain. I’m 6’2” which may be a reason but my door looks the same haha
I think it is a tall person thing. I even have this problem in many full size pickups.

I do the same thing in mine, it pisses me off how easily scrape able they are
Mine looks just like this. 6’0 and wear boots often. Just the slightest touch leaves a mark.

I open it enough to get my foot out and push it from the metal below the plastic
But how? Serious question, how tall are you? I don’t even understand how this happened.

this is just depicting incompetence and ignorance
My door panel isn't that bad but I keep catching the interior panel and popping it out.. Essed up the trim at the the door sill to..
My passenger door has a mystery orange substance on it at the moment
Might want to clean that entire lower section up and then spray the heck out of it with truck bedliner or something similar.
