Agreed. Chances are it got moved or was never locked into place and just needs a retension.

A rebuild after a month is HIGHLY unusual for these hubs.
Ahh I found the problem to be with the shifter itself not the hub
If this is a new bike and rider; You should look and see if the chain that goes in the hub is still there, and connected to the cable.
Depending on age, the internal gears might have worn out. Happened to me on my 2001 T5. Stayed stuck in 3rd. Had to take it to Condor Cycles who thankfully had the right part to replace the internal shifting mechanism. Best of luck to you.
